LULAC member Cedillo charged with sexual assault of 9-year-old girl - League of United Latin American Citizens A sexual assault investigation got underway as a man was arrested at his home. His alleged victim was a child at another home. In 1984, John Cedillo pleaded guilty to a sex crime against a child. He is
now charged in a new case and police say there could be more. "The reason why we think there might be other victims out there is because he does have contact with children and he's been convicted before for the same offense." Cedillo was sentenced to six years probation for indecency with a child at his home in the mid 1980s. On Friday, the 61-year-old was indicted for a similar charge. Investigators say that this time he had sexual contact with a family friend's 9-year-old daughter during a party at her relatives' home. Cincinnati: "Transexual" Colored Man Arrested For Exposing Breasts
 Jerome Mason, a 23-year-old from Over-The-Rhine, appeared in court Tuesday after being cited for public indecency just after midnight on April 22nd. It's unclear if the man has breasts that are larger than the average male's or if he has breast implants. Mason has several mug shots on file. In the past he has had run-ins with police on such charges as receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct. - (African Crusader) |

Police arrest black boyfriend of murdered white UNCC student   Police in New York have taken the boyfriend of a woman found dead in her apartment Tuesday morning into custody. He was stopped by customs agents at the Canadian border late Tuesday night. Police said Seyi Tayo Odueso, 27, was trying to cross the border into Canada around 11 p.m. Customs officers detained him in Alexandria Bay, New York. They said Odueso was driving the silver 2003 Nissan 350z police had been looking for. Odueso is now charged with murdering his live-in girlfriend Christy Galvin, 26. Police said she died violently in her apartment over the weekend. - (J BuckMeister) -

Search for Emily Rimel Resumes - Rimel Last Seen In December  NEWARK, Ohio -- A search crew of 10 people and six dogs searched a portion of Interstate 70 in Licking County on Wednesday for a 5-year-old girl who has been missing since December. Emily Rimel disappeared from her Madison Township home in December and hasn't
been seen since. Lindsey Bruce was charged with raping the girl and is suspected in her
disappearance. He has been in jail for months. Detectives believe that Bruce was in Licking County the days after Rimel was
taken from her southeast side apartment. Emily is 3 feet tall and about 48 pounds. She is white and has brown hair and
brown eyes.

Sports: Black racist basketballers accused of hate crime assault on White man in Toronto     TORONTO -- An assault trial for three NBA players has heard that three men hurled racial slurs from a taxi before getting out and pummelling a man.
Adrian Cimpean testified he was picking up his fiancee from work outside a strip club when three men in a taxi began calling him a "nigger."
He says they told him they would teach him a lesson. Cimpean is white, while the three accused -- all NBA players -- are black. Lawyer Eddie Greenspan, is representing former Milwaukee Bucks players Sam Cassell, Gary
Payton and Jason Caffey.

Black Murder Suspect: White Woman Had to Die * "He was fighting a race war" - (video at link)  WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — A homeless ex-convict accused of killing a 56-year-old woman in a parking garage near a suburban mall told police that he was fighting a race war and killed her because she was white. Phillip Grant, 43, appeared at a court hearing Tuesday in shackles and a bulletproof vest. In a 45-minute videotape played during the hearing, Grant told police, "All I knew was she had blond hair and blue eyes and she had to die."Grant, who is black, claimed Connie Russo-Carriero "was not an innocent victim — because she was white."

Gunman sought in deadly attack on Kirkwood police officer   A police sergeant was shot and killed while checking a fireworks disturbance in suburban St. Louis, and a search continued Wednesday for a man seen approaching the officer and firing several shots. Sgt. William McEntee died at a St. Louis County hospital several hours after the shooting about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Kirkwood Police Chief Jack Plummer said. Plummer said the gunman a man approached McEntee, made some "bizarre statements" and shot him several times. "He was responding to a call that had absolutely nothing to do with the shooting," Plummer said. "Our man was ambushed." Police have identified their suspect as Kevin Johnson, 19. Man Shot, Killed While Calling 911 From Gas Station - Black Suspect Found With Gun, Victim's Car Keys A 17-year-old man is in police custody after a carjacking that left one man dead at a Pontiac Sunoco station.
The victim's final words were spoken to a 911 dispatcher as he stood in the gas station trying to call for help. David Lee Bingham ran inside the gas station to get help after
he was carjacked, but one of the men followed him and fired four shots into
Bingham's chest.
Police found a vehicle matching the denoscription of Bingham's truck. While checking the area, they observed a black male matching the denoscription of one of the suspects. The suspect was detained after officers found a .38 caliber revolver with four
spent casings in the cylinder. Officers also recovered the victim's car key in

Sports: South Africa: Vilakazi's alleged rape victim is pregnant The rape case against Orlando Pirates player Benedict "Tso" Vilakazi was postponed on Wednesday for a day by the Johannesburg regional court.
This was after his lawyers asked for time to bring an urgent application at the high court to review the regional court's decision to go ahead with the trial.
Vilakazi, 23, a former Bafana Bafana striker, is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl at her aunt's home in Rosettenville, southern Johannesburg in January this year. It is alleged that Vilakazi had asked the girl if he could use the bathroom and while there, called her in and raped her. - (more sports) - (africa) |
13-year-old Girl Alleging Rape By Teacher Sues School BALTIMORE -- A private school that knowingly hired as a teacher a convicted killer who has been charged with raping and sexually abusing three teenagers has been sued by a girl who says she was raped by the teacher. The civil suit, filed on behalf of the 13-year-old and her mother, seeks $6 million in damages. It names former teacher Charles Carroll, 28, the Community Initiatives Academy and its principal Christina Phillips Holtsclaw as defendants.
Carroll is charged with raping the 13-year-old and sexually abusing another 13-year-old and a 17-year-old. Ref: Killer in the Classroom? |
