UK: Somali arrested in policewoman shooting case   Police hunting the killers of Pc Sharon Beshenivsky, who was shot dead during a robbery in Bradford last Friday, have arrested a 19-year-old man.
Yusuf Jama - one of three men named as suspects earlier this week - was arrested in Birmingham, police said. He was arrested after police were called to a house in the Saltley area on an unrelated matter. The other men, Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah, 24, and Mr Jama's 25-year-old brother, Mustaf, are still at large, they say.

Sketch released in University of Delaware coed abduction tries Newark police released a composite sketch Monday of the man who attempted to abduct two University of Delaware students, but they still have not identified a suspect.
The two women, one 19, the other 20, were approached separately by the attacker, who was driving a tan or gold Isuzu Trooper SUV, about 2:30 a.m. Friday. Police said the students were walking alone, one at a parking lot near the first block of N. Former Death Row Inmate Arrested On Drug Charges In Caseyville He was on death row for murder then exonerated nearly a decade later. Now a Chicago man is back behind bars after a crime in the metro east. Police were soon knocking on the door when Verneal Jimerson answered. Officers reportedly found marijuana and crack cocaine packaged to sell. There was also a loaded .38 caliber handgun.
Verneal Jimerson and his wife Angela were arrested following the incident. It wasn't until later police discovered the husband's unusual past. Osmin Alfredo Lopes Charged In Woodbridge Fatal Shooting  WOODBRIDGE, Va. -- Police responding to a call of shots fired in Woodbridge made an arrest early Friday morning.
Upon their arrival after midnight, officers found a man and woman had been shot, police said. The victims were transported to an area hospital, where the man, Jose C. Vargas, died.
The 47-year-old woman is being treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
Osmin Alfredo Lopes is charged with one count of murder, one count of aggravated malicious wounding and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Arnold Schwarzenegger said he would consider granting clemency to convicted killer Stanley Tookie Williams, the Crips gang founder. Canada: Former Black Panther Ordered Back to U.S.  TORONTO -- A suspected former Black Panther member accused of shooting a Chicago police officer more than 35 years ago was ordered extradited to the United States. Joseph Pannell, a former Toronto library worker is accused in the 1969 shooting of a White Chicago police officer Terrence Knox, who was left paralyzed. Pannell allegedly pulled out a 9 mm handgun and fired 13 times. Three shots struck Knox, severing an artery in his arm and leaving him partially paralyzed. Pannell was arrested but fled the country after he was freed on bail in 1973. Four illegal Iraqis brutally gang-raped a 15-year-old English schoolgirl * Hell of gang rape victim  The 15-year-old relived the horror to a silent courtroom telling how four Kurdish Iraqi men allegedly took turns to attack her.
In a police interview played to the jury, she said: "It seemed to go on forever."

Preston Crown Court was told the girl was tricked into getting into a car outside the Better Burger fast food outlet on May 17. She was then allegedly taken to a house and subjected to an horrific series of sex assaults.
Awat Ahmed, 27, denied three charges of rape and one of false imprisonment. Hana Zana Sahli, Karim Faraidon Nzar, Taha Abdulla, were named but apparently vanished after the attack.

Thanksgiving got off to a deadly start in Falls Church, where a drunken driver slammed into a car at a red light, killing an 18-year-old man.
Police said one of their officers happened to be waiting for the light in his cruiser and saw the whole thing shortly after midnight. Pablo Cruz is being held on DWI and involuntary manslaughter charges. Cruz drove his pickup truck into the back of a Honda that was stopped for the light.
