Black Haitian migrant Accused Of Killing White L.I. Bank Manager Faces New Charges - handcuff key found in his stomach   MINEOLA, N.Y. -- A man being held on murder charges in connection with the shooting of a Long Island bank manager last January has new charges against him for behaving badly in jail, Nassau County District Attorney Denis Dillon said Friday. Reginald Gousse, 33, is being charged with assaulting a corrections officer and
stealing a handcuff key, the district attorney said.
Gousse was brought to Brooklyn on Oct. 5 to answer other charges. While there he allegedly assaulted a city corrections officer and took a handcuff key, the district attorney said. An X-ray could not find the key, and Gousse was returned to the Nassau County Jail. Another search at the jail found the key in Gousse's sneaker, but he was able to push the corrections officer away and swallow the key, Dillon said. Another X-ray confirmed that the key was in his stomach, the district attorney said. Gousse was charged with robbery, assault and promoting prison contraband, Dillon said. Ref: Suspect impersonated cops before fatal shooting He is awaiting trial for the Jan. 5 killing of James Gottlieb, 49, of Garden City. Gottlieb was driving home when he was pulled over in Franklin Square by someone he thought was a police officer. Gousse was driving a dark SUV with flashing lights, police said. University of Hawaii student alleges rape after man lured her off campus
 Crime alert signs are posted around the University of Hawaii Manoa campus. They're up after a 40-year-old man was accused of advertising a search for models and then allegedly raping a 19-year-old student. Signs have been posted at all residential dorms warning about the incident. The student says she answered an ad posted on a UH bulletin board calling for models. According to authorities, the student met with suspect Anthony Kim, then was taken to his apartment in Waikiki. That's where she says the rape happened. |

Sports: Update Black Coach Charged With Peeping On 16-Year-Old White Female Student  KATY, Texas -- A Cinco Ranch High School coach and teacher was charged Wednesday, accused of peeping through a 16-year-old girl's bedroom window. Timothy Williford, a football coach and special education teacher at Cinco Ranch High School in the Katy Independent School District, was taken into custody. He was charged with disorderly conduct and a "peeping Tom" charge, both misdemeanors. "I saw the whites of his eyes outside my window at the very bottom," the Cinco Ranch High junior said. . "I was pretty hysterical after that. I was crying and I was very scared. I didn't know him and it was scary seeing a man looking through my window."

Jurors To Deliberate Cop Killer's Punishment    HOUSTON -- Jurors are expected to begin deliberating the punishment for a convicted cop killer Thursday. Alfred Dewayne Brown, 23, was found guilty of capital murder Tuesday in the April 3, 2003, slaying of officer Charles R. Clark, 45, at a check-cashing store. Prosecutors said Brown shot Clark in the head as the patrolman tried to stop a
holdup at an Ace America's Cash Express in southeast
Houston.
Store clerk Alfredia Jones, 27, was also killed.
Clark was killed the day before his 20th anniversary and within weeks of his scheduled retirement with HPD, and Jones had returned to work from maternity leave the day of the shooting.
Brown is the second man to stand trial in the incident.
Elijah Dwayne Joubert, 26, was convicted last year of capital murder for Jones' slaying and sentenced to death.
Dashan V. Glaspie, 23, has pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery in a deal limiting his sentence to 30 years if he testifies truthfully against his cohorts, prosecutors said.

Minneapolis police arrest "rapist, robber, burglar" Lamont Minneapolis police finally got their ogre. Lamont McGee has been sought in a string of crimes that have taken place in
South Minneapolis over the past month or so. Among
the crimes he's suspected of committing is the rape and kidnapping of a
62-year-old woman on Tuesday.
The woman was kidnapped early Tuesday morning as she walked to a bus stop. Police say McGee, and an accomplice who's been already arrested, forced her into a car and raped her. Then they drove her to her apartment where she says a variety of items were stolen.
A short time later, McGee confronted a woman on a south Minneapolis street, robbed her and then fondled her. McGee is growing increasingly bold, "He's a rapist, he's a robber and he'll do anything". McGee is also suspected in an attack on another woman this past Sunday. And they
believe he is likely responsible for a series of other sexual assaults and

Sports: Four Black Henderson State athletes arrested for statutory gang rape of 13-year-old girl ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (AP) — Four Henderson State University footballers and a fifth student have been charged in the rape of a 13-year-old girl in the men's dormitory last weekend, according to a police affidavit. Football players Donald R. Bell, 23; Arkeith D. Cozart, 21; Marvin G. Prude, 21; and Malcolm Anthony Bailey, 19; were arrested along with Christopher C. Brown, 21. Bell, Cozart, Prude and Brown are residents of the Newberry men's dorm. Bailey has an Arkadelphia residence. She told the officer she had sex with three of the men in one room and a fourth

DNA analysis leads to arrest of ex-con Dellmus in woman's slaying A truck driver was charged yesterday with the slaying of a woman whose body was found this year in a vacant lot in North Toledo.
Dellmus Colvin, 46, of 547 Crittenden St., was charged with the murder of Melissa Weber, 37, after police linked him to the crime through a DNA analysis. Ms. Weber's decomposed body was found May 9 under a couch behind a vacant truck terminal. Dellmus is a suspect in several other rapes and assaults on women. - (Dr William Pierce) - (crime) |
Jofre Bautista Arrested for Brutal Rape of 13-Year-Old Queens Girl * I'll fight for him says rape suspect's wife  Police have arrested a man who now stands accused of a brutal attack on a 13-year-old girl who was on her way home from school in Queens earlier this week.
Police say they picked up 34-year-old Jofre Bautista Thursday night. The attack happened Tuesday afternoon near 72nd Street and Queens Boulevard as the girl was walking home from school. Police say a man asked her for directions, then grabbed her and pulled her into a van where he raped her at knifepoint.
