Illegal Brazilian migrant held on rape, kidnap charges * Illegal Migrant Suspect In Kidnapping Case Suspected To Have HIV A 28-year-old Brazilian will spend Christmas in jail on rape and kidnapping charges.
Evandro Doirado, an illegal immigrant, is being held without bail on charges that he abducted a woman and her 2-year-old son at knifepoint in Framingham and held them for two days.
The illegal Brazilian migrant accused of kidnapping and raping a woman in Plymouth will
appear in court on Tuesday, and now, prosecutors are asking a judge for him to
be tested for HIV.
Framingham police say 28-year-old Evandro Silas Doirado's crime spree started when he stabbed a person after a drug deal earlier this month. They say Doirado apparently thought he killed the person and figured he was going to jail.
Investigators say he went to the Wal-Mart in Framingham and forced a 25-year-old woman and her 2-year-old son at knifepoint into a car.
Diorado is accused of forcing her to drive to Plymouth, where he held her captive and repeatedly assaulted her. - (Negrodamus,-88-) - (crime) - (Invasion!) |
Mother awaits justice as trial nears for Ramiro F. Gonzales accused of the murder of her daughter Bridget Townsend Patricia Townsend's anguish over her daughter's disappearance nearly five years ago is measured in hugs missed, grandchildren denied and justice delayed. Hopeful uncertainty about why Bridget Townsend vanished on Jan. 15, 2001, turned
to chronic heartache after her remains were found 21 months later. Investigators had no leads about Bridget Townsend's fate until Ramiro F. Gonzales, whom she'd known since middle school, told police in October 2002 that he'd slain her. Gonzales, then 19, led police to Townsend's skeleton just days after he had been sentenced to life in prison for the kidnapping and sexual assault of another Bandera woman, who had escaped and helped police find him. Gonzales told mental health officials he was "obsessed" with dead bodies. As a youth Gonzales "on numerous occasions shot animals and then watched their bodies decay over time." He repeatedly went to the ranch where Townsend's body was dumped to look at it

Idaho women who may have been infected by HIV-positive Zambian migrant get tested * Three more women have come forward MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) -- Several women believed to have had sex with a man who they say didn't tell them he had the HIV virus, a felony in Idaho, are undergoing testing this week in a Moscow clinic.
So far, about a dozen people linked to the case have been tested for HIV, said Carol Moehrle, director of the North Central District Health Department. She declined to give the results, citing medical privacy laws.
Kanay A. Mubita, 31, has been charged in 2nd District Court with seven counts of transferring body fluids that may contain HIV to seven separate women. HIV is the human immunodeficiency virus that can lead to fatal AIDS. Police say Mubita, who holds a Zambian passport, became "romantically" linked with as many as 20 women while frequenting this university town's local bar scene. - (-88-) - (crime) - (Invasion!) |
Baby rapist - confessed cop killer featured on 'America's Most Wanted' Tennessee authorities are searching for a man they say brutally raped two young girls he was supposed to be babysitting. In February 2003, two sisters, ages 7 and 11, told investigators that they were repeatedly molested by 64-year-old Donald Edward Lynch. According to officials, Lynch forced the girls to sleep in his room, watch pornographic movies and participate in sexual acts. Cops say Lynch often took photos and videos of the young girls and threatened them with a gun. He also victimized at least eight other girls -- one only 3 years old. Lynch's apparent downfall was telling a woman he befriended that he had killed a

Rape Suspect Believed To Be Responsible For Numerous Attacks - Officers Responding To Rape-In-Progress Call Shoot Suspect Police arrested a man early Thursday morning in connection to a series of rapes and robberies in west Baltimore. officers received a rape-in-progress call in the 700 block of Edmondson Avenue
at about 2:45 a.m. Thursday. Reginald Williams, 34, who is a registered sex offender, tried to escape from the officers.
"They cornered a guy in the alley, the suspect turned with the gun that was used in the rape/robberies, and the officers were forced to shoot him," she said. "We're pretty confident that he committed the crimes." - (Gman) - (crime) |

Woman Held Captive, Gang-Raped Over Weekend in Pocomoke by Three Black Men Md.- A Massachusetts woman is raped multiple times over two days while visiting a friend's home in Pocomoke on Dec. 23. Detectives say three males came into the residence and one of them pointed a gun at the victim. They say the older suspect then threw the victim on a bed where he tore her clothes off and forcibly raped her. The police say the victim was raped multiple times by all three men over the course of two days. The victim told police the men threatened to find and kill her if she reported the incident to police. - Suspects described as: Black Male in his early 40s, 5'4'' tall, heavy set build. Black Male, about 22-years-old, 5'3'' tall, about 140 lbs., short braids in hair. Black Male, about 24-years-old, 5'5'' tall, very thin build, short braids in hair. Lessons from a Predator Physician - Nigerian migrant raped his patients in the U.S.  The trial of Seattle gynaecologist Charles Momah has just wrapped up and the jury has convicted the 49-year-old doctor of two counts of rape and two counts of taking "indecent liberties" with former patients, which could result in a 23-year prison sentence. Also pending, are health care fraud charges and civil suits involving more than 30 former patients who claim they were threatened by the doctor, sexually assaulted and even molested while under anaesthesia. His training in running a "Little Shop of Horrors" as one former patient calls it, got its start right here in Canada. The Nigerian-born Momah came to Montreal from the University of Nigeria to do his residency training at McGill between 1982 and 1987. West Jr. The 16-year-old from Onalaska, Wis., had been convicted of third-degree sexual assault for his role in the gang rape of a girl at a North Side home in February. But from her seat in the courtroom Thursday, Deborah West shouted that the five years in prison was because her son is black — as are the other three men convicted in the case — and the girl is white. Reavon Taylor, 20, of La Crosse also received five years in prison and five years of extended supervision in the assault. Jarrad Panama, 20, and Miguel A. Reward increases for tips about escaped Honduran rape suspect MIAMI -- Authorities on Saturday increased the reward for tips leading to the arrest of an accused serial rapist who escaped from jail last week by rappelling down the building on bedsheets. The reward for Reynaldo E. Rapalo was increased by $5,000, bringing the total to
$36,000, said Paige Patterson Hughes, spokeswoman for the Florida Department of
Law Enforcement. Rapalo is accused of sexually assaulting seven girls and women and attacking
four others in the Little Havana area in 2002 and 2003. He was awaiting a

DeKalb County police officer is facing charges of child molestation against a 15-year-old girl Officer Anthony Greer is also charged with aggravated sodomy in the case. The 42-year-old Greer is assigned to the Tucker Precinct, where he works the day shift. He has been suspended without pay.
Greer has been on the force for more than 20 years.
He is accused of molesting a 15-year-old family acquaintance. Many of his fellow officers found Greer’s arrest a shock. - (aryan_barbarian) - (crime) |
Iowa: Former footballer sentenced to two years in rape case WATERLOO, Iowa After pleading to reduced charges in connection with a campus rape investigation, a former University of Northern Iowa football player received the maximum sentence. 19-year-old Baylen Laury was sentenced earlier this week to two years in prison
on a charge of misdemeanor assault with intent to inflict serious injury.
The judge also ordered Laury to undergo a polygraph examination and sex offender screening.
Laury entered an Alford plea to the lesser charge after three trials ended in hung juries. The plea does not mean he admitted guilt, but indicated he believed that he could be convicted.
The Forney, Texas, native, had been charged with second-degree sexual abuse, a felony that carries a 25-year sentence.
Prosecutors argued that Laury had sex with an acquaintance in November 2004 after she asked him to stop, then called another football player to have sex with the woman. - (more sports) |
