| Racial Hatecrimes: Seven black males were arrested for suspicion of assaulting two white men in Compton today after allegedly yelling racial slurs at them in what is being investigated as a hate crime, authorities said. Between 15 and 20 black males stood at the intersection and yelled racial slurs and flashed gang signs at the victims. The two white victims suffered moderate injuries, he said. Forgery Was Possible Motive For Murder, Police Say - 78-Year-Old White Man Stabbed To Death In KCK Home  KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Charges were filed in connection with the stabbing death of a 78-year-old man. Thomas Winslow was found dead inside his home. Winslow was dependent on a wheelchair and was unable to get out
of bed without assistance.

Low-down Former Mobile detention officer sentenced to prison for homo sex-related crimes involving young boys  MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - A former detention officer has been sentenced to eight years in prison for sex-related crimes involving a boy at the Strickland Youth Center in Mobile.
Adric Lashaun Bush, 28, was convicted of first-degree sodomy, furnishing alcohol to a minor and enticing a child for immoral purposes. The victim testified that Bush befriended him but soon lured him to his home
where he sodomized him after making veiled threats of violence one night in late
2003. Another youth testified about a similar experience in the same bed that

Low-down pervert Curis Baker raped a six-year-old boy thirteen years ago  Thirteen years ago on a summer night, a six-year old-boy woke his dad. The boy said he felt someone "pinching his butt," according to the warrant.The father, whom we won't identify, tells the son he was probably "dreaming."The next morning, the nightmare began. The boy's bedroom window was broken in, a dirty footprint was discovered on the floor, and the child had bloodied and soiled underpants. Authorities say he had been raped. Ionia screwdriver rape suspect to be charged in Grand Rapids The man who police believe held a screwdriver to the throat of a 13-year-old Ionia girl as he raped her is expected to face additional criminal sexual conduct charges in Grand Rapids.
James Buie, 41, will be charged in Kent County on six counts of criminal sexual conduct, one count of armed robbery and one felony firearm count, all of which stem from an incident that occurred in 2001. Buie sexually assaulted three women one night at a residence, and committed a

Young Girl Seen Being Dragged Into Woods At Cobbs Creek PHILADELPHIA -- Police are searching for a man who witnesses said was seen with a screaming girl in a park in Cobbs Creek.
"I heard a girl screaming. She was yelling and my friend went to go see what the news was, but I told her, 'No come back, because who was screaming was hurt, was in pain,'" said Ladonna Cuffee, a student who was on the scene."We heard screaming again. I looked down there and I saw a little girl trying to run, but the man ran behind her and covered her mouth and he was kind of forcing her to walk," - (Gman) |
Metro Call-A-Ride Driver Charged With Sexually Assaulting Disabled Passenger Metro is taking another look at it's background check procedures after claims a driver with a criminal history assaulted a customer. The victim, a 37 year-old woman with cerebral palsy in a wheelchair, who had
used Metro's Call-A-Ride service more than 6-thousand times in the
past.
But prosecutors say this time, the driver, 56 year-old William T. Hamilton, allegedly entered the home under the guise of teaching her an exercise and sexually assaulted her. A check by the private company failed to
pick up a 1993 guilty plea for 1st degree sexual abuse in St. Charles Co. or his

Education: High School Teacher Charged With Sexually Assaulting Student Montgomery County police have arrested a teacher for allegedly sexually assaulting a student.
Shedrick Adrian Young, a gym and health teacher at the
Chelsea School in Silver Spring, Md., inappropriately touched a 17-year-old
female student and watched her through the blinds of his office window as she
changed clothes in the locker room, police said. Young also
had pulled down the victim’s clothing to reveal her undergarments.

Religion: Girl Says Pastor Maurice Molested Her A teenager is talking about how she says her church pastor molested her. Maurice Jackson is now facing four charges over accusations of molesting two girls.
Jackson, pastor of the New Generation Church, was home on bond Thursday.
One of the young accusers, whose name and face 10TV is not revealing, says she's talking so others aren't afraid to come forward.

Five shots at five heads, says Beach prosecutor   VIRGINIA BEACH — The gunman who killed three people and injured two others at a condominium did not randomly fire into a crowded room - the attorney said the killer moved methodically from one victim to another, firing his handgun only five times – once per victim – before leaving.
“Every shot fired was to the head,” Bryant said. “There was no wasted shot. He apparently was trying to kill all five people.” Marcus V. Sports: Bond Denied For Man Accused Of Shooting "Ball Hog" CHICAGO (CBS 2) Bond has now been denied for a west side man accused of killing a teenager for the way he played basketball. A friendly pick-up game at a Logan Square YMCA turned deadly.
Ninteen-year-old Donte Thomas, a recent high school graduate and neighborhood kid who loved to play ball, was gunned down at the YMCA on North Lawndale. Police: Peeping Tom Suspect Found Masturbating In Shed Fla. -- A 23-year-old man in Seminole County, Fla., accused of voyeurism confessed to looking into the homes of several women after police caught him masturbating in a shed. Seminole County resident Autumn Johnson said she spotted Carlos Duran looking
into her neighbor's window on Caliente Way in Altamonte Springs and called
police.
"He was crouched over looking into the window and then he heard me and the dog and started down the street," Johnson said. Officers then went to his house and found him masturbating in a shed. Duran is charged with prowling and voyeurism. - - (Gman) - (Crime) |

personal gain AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) -- A federal jury found state Sen. Charles Walker guilty Friday of using his once-powerful position for personal gain, including skimming profits from a charity football game.
Walker, the Senate majority leader before losing re-election in 2002, was convicted of 127 of 137 counts, including mail fraud, conspiracy, campaign finance fraud and tax fraud.
Richard Goolsby, the prosecutor, said: “Justice has been served.” No sentencing date was set for the black Augusta Democrat. Walker’s daughter, Monique Walker Hill, will be tried separately on charges of conspiracy. - (aryan_barbarian) |

Teen gunman who wounded a Brooklyn cop in a barrage of bullets confessed to a buddy - and shot himself "I really got into it and shot a cop," 18-year-old David Redden said as he stumbled into his pal's Brownsville apartment while cops swarmed the area, Wednesday, the sources said. Redden, nicknamed D-Money for his stylish clothes, was bleeding from police bullets in his hip and elbow, and he waved off help from his friend.
