Dangerous Black Florida suspect sought in slaying of White surfer   Columbia police and U.S. marshals are looking for a Florida man they say killed a 25-year-old surfer in that state last month. Randy Demarco Carter, 22, allegedly fled the state with an accomplice after the Sept. 23 fatal shooting of Austin Paine near Indialantic, Fla., a coastal community east of Orlando. Authorities in Brevard County, where the slaying occurred, said it might have been drug-related. Carter, who goes by the street name Crime, is believed to have friends and family in Columbia. Carter is described as black, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds. "Blue" Black Man Sentenced to only 10 Years in Death of White Portsmouth Woman  The man convicted of killing a woman in Portsmouth, then dumped her body in Newport News, will spend 10 years in jail for the crime. James Nutter, 26, was sentenced Tuesday by a Portsmouth judge.It was April, 2003, when the body of 22-year old Katrina Marie Boscia was discovered in the woods near a Warwick Boulevard go-go club where she worked. Nutter, a truck driver from Roanoke, was an Army reservist stationed at Fort Eustis at the time of the murder.A jury found Nutter guilty of second degree murder in April. - (Tyrone N. Days before execution, confessed and convicted black inmate now claims innocence in rape and murder of two White girls    One of four men convicted in the April 1991 murder of two sisters on the Chain of Rocks Bridge is scheduled to be executed Oct. 26.The Missouri Supreme Court set the date Monday for Marlin Gray, 37, who was sentenced to death in December 1992 for his role in the rapes and murders of Robin Kerry, 19, and Julie Kerry, 20. The sisters were stripped, beaten and raped over the course of an hour before they were shoved off a pier of the bridge into the Mississippi River. Their cousin, Tom Cummins, 19, was forced to watch the assault and then ordered to jump into the river. He survived. Jurors convict black men in double homicide of White couple  ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Two Kansas City men were found guilty Thursday of killing a St. Joseph couple in their bedroom after breaking into their home looking for a previous tenant, a suspected drug dealer. Jurors deliberated about eight hours before convicting Terrell Dawson, 25, and Javonty Steward, 23, of two counts of first-degree murder, two counts armed criminal action and one count each of kidnapping and first-degree burglary. The bodies of the victims, Danny Watson Jr., 31, and Dawn Thornton, 28, were found in April 2004 as her son from a previous relationship and a child she and Watson had together while still in high school returned from an overnight stay with their grandparents. The couple had recently reunited. Parents of the victims smiled as the verdicts were read, while Steward's parents looked down and shook their heads. Sports: Update Black Coach Charged With Peeping On 16-Year-Old White Female Student  KATY, Texas -- A Cinco Ranch High School coach and teacher was charged Wednesday, accused of peeping through a 16-year-old girl's bedroom window. Timothy Williford, a football coach and special education teacher at Cinco Ranch High School in the Katy Independent School District, was taken into custody. He was charged with disorderly conduct and a "peeping Tom" charge, both misdemeanors. "I saw the whites of his eyes outside my window at the very bottom," the Cinco Ranch High junior said. . "I was pretty hysterical after that. I was crying and I was very scared. I didn't know him and it was scary seeing a man looking through my window." Jurors To Deliberate Cop Killer's Punishment   HOUSTON -- Jurors are expected to begin deliberating the punishment for a convicted cop killer Thursday. Alfred Dewayne Brown, 23, was found guilty of capital murder Tuesday in the April 3, 2003, slaying of officer Charles R. Clark, 45, at a check-cashing store. Prosecutors said Brown shot Clark in the head as the patrolman tried to stop a holdup at an Ace America's Cash Express in southeast Houston. Store clerk Alfredia Jones, 27, was also killed. Clark was killed the day before his 20th anniversary and within weeks of his scheduled retirement with HPD, and Jones had returned to work from maternity leave the day of the shooting. Brown is the second man to stand trial in the incident. Elijah Dwayne Joubert, 26, was convicted last year of capital murder for Jones' slaying and sentenced to death. Dashan V. Glaspie, 23, has pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery in a deal limiting his sentence to 30 years if he testifies truthfully against his cohorts, prosecutors said. Clark's pistol jammed after he fired one shot. Mother, Child Deaths Go to Trial after a six-year delay in justice    Six years after allegedly murdering a young mother and her 2-year-old daughter, a man from Jonesboro, Ga., is set to go to trial Friday. Suspect Wesley Harris maintains he is being framed for the deaths of 22-year-old Whitney Land and Jordan, her 2-year-old daughter. However, he did admit to police that he set fire to the car where police found the mother and daughter dead the day after they disappeared from a park. Friday counts as the third attempt at trying the murder case after two previous attempts were scrapped due to technicalities. “I really thought this time, when we got to jury selection, that this was really it. Decomposing body of black sex-offender and murderer positively ID'd - suicide    The Lake County, Indiana, Coroner says a decomposed body found in Gary yesterday is that of 43-year-old Melvin Keeling, a suspect in three murders. Coroner David Pastrick says that Keeling died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Loveland Park, Ohio, man was suspected of shooting of 13-year-old Katelind Caudill in her grandmother's Cincinnati-area home September 19th. Suspect In Shooting Of Central Fla. Deputy Captured In Brunswick   BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- A man suspected of shooting an Orange County, Fla., deputy earlier this week as well several other felony charges was captured overnight by Glynn County police. Jeffrey Forbes, 22, was taken into custody after police evacuated guests in adjacent rooms. Forbes was wanted for aggravated assault, aggravated battery, kidnapping a child under 13 years of age and armed burglary of an occupied dwelling, and probation violation. He was named as a suspect in the shooting of Orange County Deputy Adam Pierce. Pierce was trying to break up an apparent drug deal when he was shot. He remains in serious condition at Orlando Regional Medical Center Friday. Also arrested was Rachelle Jean Marie who as in the room with Forbes. Sports: Black Killer of 71-year-old White Jackson County Sports Official Sentenced - Tyrone was turned in by his own mother   A 30-year sentence has been handed to the man who murdered 71-year-old Jackson County Sports Authority Director John M. Friedmann. 19-year-old Tyrone Tucker, who was 17 at the time of the killing, was turned in by his own mother who - according to testimony - used the reward money to buy drugs. Tucker used a gun to try to rob Friedmann at a Kansas City car wash in December of 2003. A struggle ensued and Friedmann was shot. | Ohio Jury Convicts Negro of Kidnapping 5-year-old White Girl - facing only three years to 10 years COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Jurors convicted a man Friday of kidnapping a 5-year-old girl, but acquitted him of a rape charge that could have brought a mandatory life sentence. The girl is presumed dead, but Bruce was not charged with murder.   Lindsey Bruce was charged with kidnapping and raping Emily Rimel, who has been missing since December. She was last seen in her Madison Township home on the night when Bruce was visiting. Rimel's body has not been found and Bruce was not charged with murder. The boy was stabbed to death as he played in front of his grandmother's home in Alexandria's Del Ray neighborhood.
