Much to the consternation of Jewish groups, Pope John Paul II recently advanced Pope Pius IX, who was Pope from 1846 to 1878, toward sainthood in the Catholic Church.

Pius IX is reported to have disliked Jews and was said to have called them "dogs." He also reportedly said that he would "drive them back into their holes."

Given the PC nature of our age, one might divine that Pius IX is not a likely candidate for sainthood--at least if Jews have anything to say about it, and Jews and Jewish groups are saying much about it. The Israeli government expressed "deep sorrow," over the choice, and the ADL called the beatification "troubling."

In Rome, hundreds of Jews held a candlelight vigil to protest the beatification. Pope John Paul II responded by saying that Pius was "much loved, but also hated and slandered." "Slandered by whom?" is a question that might have been asked and the answer might have been revealing.

The problem for those who don't like the Pope's decision is that the Pope isn't Jewish and apparently hasn't been reconstructed to believe that he needs Jewish approval to make saints. Jews are, after all, not a part of the Catholic Church, but even if they were, the Catholic Church hierarchy doesn't make decisions based on the consent of believers, since the Church believes that guidance comes from God to the Pope, not from the people to the Pope.

In other words, the Catholic Church actually has the un-PC notion that God exists and that He will tell people--through the Pope--what is right and wrong. Still, the Pope's decision to go ahead with the beatification of Pius IX is curious given the let's-all-just-forget-our-differences- and-get-along thinking in this age.

Now, anyone who knows how the Popes of the Catholic Church have worked throughout history understands that all Popes have sent messages of their will through various decisions they make or don't make. The Popes generally don't do anything without knowing that what they do sends a message.

You can therefore be sure that Pope John Paul II was fully aware of the controversy that would ensue over this move on his part, yet he chose to go forward with it. His decision was not an accident or a mistake, but was planned. Why? What message is the Pope sending? Why this move at this time?

After all, the beatification of Pius IX was first brought up in 1907. So why now? Does it have anything to do with the selection of Orthodox Jew Joseph Lieberman as Al Gore's running mate? And what about the name "Gore?" We'll come back to that in a moment.

The questions abound and the speculation will continue among those who try to connect up dots. Some will ask whether the Pope was sending an anti-Jewish message. Was he signaling that the Catholic Church was moving away from the blurring of differences among Catholics and Jews?

Some might even speculate as to whether this has something to do with the Third Secret of Fatima which was finally read to the world just a few months ago. This Secret was received in July 12, 1917 and was committed to paper by Sister Lucia (one of the original three girls who claimed to have received the secret) on January 3, 1944.

Here's the complete translation of the Third Secret:
"I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine.

"After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: 'Penance, Penance, Penance!'.

And we saw in an immense light that is God: 'something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a Bishop dressed in White 'we had the impression that it was the Holy Father.'

Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions.

Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God."

So, what's it mean? Various interpretations have been put on this message. One holds that this refers to the assassination attempt of Pope John Paul II on May 13, 1981. Another interpretation suggests that it tells of the destruction of the Catholic Church. But, could there be something more here? Some, will think so. What of the passage near the end of the message that reads "...he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him...." Why "arrows"? Arrows weren't used by soldiers in 1917, when the secret was claimed to have been received, and they weren't used at the time of the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II in 1981.

What "soldiers" use arrows? None in the developed world. Just about the only people who still use arrows in war are the native peoples of the Americas; who now mostly live in the rain forests of South America. However, there are Indian and mestizo nativists in Mexico and in the U.S. who are pushing a vision of taking back the western U.S. and turning it into the mythical land of Aztlan.

Their literature and their ideology is full of pre-Christian symbolism. In fact, whenever large numbers of mestizo "immigrants" to the U.S. meet to push their programs, they are usually accompanied by some of their members in old pre-Christian costumes, who will dance what they believe are old Aztec and Inca dances. Those who wonder about these things, might suggest that "arrows" symbolizes these people. And, as asked above. What about the name "Gore?" Isn't one "gored" by arrows?

Are there more clues in things that Pope John Paul II has said in the past year? Not too many months ago, the Pope called on the Italian people to have move babies to help save Italian society. What caused the Pope to worry about Italians? Well, the Pope apparently realizes that there are more Italians dying than are being born. There are now approximately 57 million Italians living in Italy, but if current birth rates hold, the population will drop to around 41 million by the year 2050.

Of course the Pope need not worry that Italy will be de-peopled, because, according to other news reports, the country is now being invaded by as many as 1,200 non-Italian illegal aliens a day. In fact, there are now an estimated 100,000 illegal aliens living in the city of Milan alone, and their numbers are increasing, at the same time that the number of Italians is decreasing. So, the Pope need not worry. After all, people are people. Right?

To listen to the Blenders (aka Globalists or One Worlders), all people are fungible. If this Italian dies off and is replaced by this African or Chinese, there's no loss. "Hey, people are people." So what if Italy no longer has Italians? It'll still have some kind of people or other. So what if Italian cuisine becomes African cuisine? So what if the Italians of the future are all Africans? So what if famous Italian artwork depicting classical Italian facial features will have to be changed to be PC?

After all, at some not too distant date, European features will be considered hateful and divisive. "Hey, don't worry, the place will still be called Italy, right?" Is it that the Pope understands the truth of nature, or God, that people are not fungible at all. Each person is important and each person is unique. But, more importantly, each group of like persons is also important and each group of like persons is unique.

Sounds like genes, race and ethnicity actually do matter, doesn't it? And, to think, just recently, President Clinton said that all people are 99.9% the same as he gushed about Europeans not being in a majority in the U.S. Might it be fair to infer from President Clinton's statement and other similar things he's said, that he, along with Al Gore, unlike the Pope, wouldn't mind if the Italians--and all white people--disappeared?

Might the Blenders be thinking "Let's encourage whites to have fewer kids and to have more abortions at the same time we flood Europe and America with non-whites." Could it be that the Pope knows that genocide via the bedroom chamber is just as long lasting as genocide via the gas chamber, and those pushing bedroom genocide will never have to face war crimes trials.

The truth is that Italy without genetic Italians will not be the same Italy. Is this what the Pope knows? Does the Pope understand in his heart that what is being seen in Italy and in much of the world is the extinction of distinct European types through the soft genocide of assimilation into the Third World gene pool? Does the Pope know that it's no longer a matter of a European here and there going to the Third World and going native, but rather that the natives are coming to the First World to transform vast numbers of Europeans into non-Europeans?

Does the Pope understand that white people are a very fragile and tiny minority of 10% of humans on Earth--the real planet of the apes, according to some people--and that they are in danger of extinction today as never before in history? Does the Pope understand that plunging white birth rates and unbridled Third World immigration being pushed by the Blenders is the greatest threat to the continued existence of white people that the world has ever seen?

Bomb shelters and ducking under the desk at school won't protect white people from this threat to their existence. Nuclear weapons are like pop guns when compared to the destruction that is being wrought by this plague of genocide that is being visited upon white people. What is needed, for the preservation of Europeans (no mater where they live in the world) is a massive change in thinking that causes them to start seeing themselves as part of a distinct people on the verge of extinction.

With such a sea change shift in thinking, Europeans worldwide might once again do as the Pope is counseling Italians to do and start, as the Pope said "rediscover the culture of love and life, rediscover their mission as parents." In the dead of night, does the Pope secretly pray for the continued existence of white people?

Did God speak to the Pope and give him understanding about the secret He allegedly gave to three peasant girls in 1917? Did God tell the People to reveal the secret at this time? If so, why now? Was the Third Secret--the extinction of all non-Jewish white people and their institutions--so beyond comprehension in 1917 that the message was kept secret all these years and has only now been revealed because of events in the world--Lieberman, Third World immigration, low white birthrates-- in an attempt to change what may not be pre-ordained, but which was only given as a possibility unless things change?

We'll just have to wait and see. History unfolds before us. Whether what actually does happen is preordained or has been changed from what was going to happen because of the intervention of, say, the Pope, we'll never know. Could future history be changed by sending a message--a warning--at a particular time--and is this that time? And, is the Pope the messenger?

The speculation will no doubt continue in certain circles, and one wonders how long it'll take for someone to claim that Bill Clinton is the Beast, Al Gore the false prophet, and Joe Lieberman is the Anti-Christ. Indeed, if one looks with a creative eye, many people and things in the Bible can be found. Any suggestions for the part of the Whore of Babylon?

But, of course, most of us are more rational than to believe such things. We'll leave such religious speculation up to the extremists. "Religion is fine," we might say, "so long as you don't take it too seriously. It works as a good boogey man to keep our kids in line, but all that stuff in the Bible, well, come on, don't take it literally. Just go to Church each Sunday and read the Bible, but then forget it until next Sunday."

Meanwhile, there are some folks in Rome who do take religion seriously. Just a couple of days after the beatification controversy discussed above, the Vatican released "On the Unity and Salvific Universality of Jesus Christ and the Church," a document that seems to signal the end of inter-religious dialogue between the Catholic Church and non-Christians.

The question asked at the beginning of this column bears repeating: "Why now?" Why in this year 2000? Why just after the release of the Third Secret of Fatima? Why after the naming of Orthodox Jew Joseph Lieberman as the VP candidate of the Democrat Party in the New World, where arrows, at the very least, are symbolic of the Indians of North ,Central and South America, who are swamping the United States with their numbers?

Why? There's probably nothing to it at all. There may be some out there, though, who are saying: "God works in mysterious ways."

"In 1917, Portugal was verging on totalitarianism after the revolution of 1910. The revolution had decreed a sharp separation of Church and state, Church property had been confiscated, and religious congregations had been ordered dissolved. The intelligentsia and ruling classes were anti-religious and decisively anti-clerical. The ruling cognoscenti were contemptous of traditional religious beliefs often describing these beliefs as mere superstitions in the newspapers and journals they ran. Even rural areas normally immune to the intellectual fads of the cosmopolitan centers were affected by church closings and a cautious wariness about any outward expression of religious belief. Despite this, strong religious faith still took root in the simple peasants of the rural countryside. In this environment, a series of apparitions by the Blessed Virgin occurred to three small children from the rural village of Fatima over a six month period starting in May of 1917."
