Illegal Alien Handyman Castellanos Tried in Housewife's Rape and Murder
Douglas Herrera CastellanosMary NagleA year ago this April, Mary Nagle was alone in her New City, N.Y., home. Her husband had gone to work. But just hours after Daniel Nagle got to the office, he received a phone call from his mother-in-law telling him that his wife had been killed, allegedly by the handyman they had hired to work on their deck. The couple had contracted with a company called Color-On. The company had sent Douglas Herrera Castellanos, 30, to do the job. Nagle took the stand this week, breaking down in tears as he testified. Jurors were in tears, too. "I want to be there for Mary, just for her dignity," Nagle said. Prosecutors say Castellanos, an undocumented worker, raped Mary Nagle before killing her and left the home in Daniel Nagle's clothes.  The killing is a chilling reminder of the danger posed when strangers are allowed into the home. - (crime) - (Invasion!)

  • House Majority Leader hints a back down on 'amnesty' for illegal aliens
"The American people are counting on us to secure our borders and restore the rule of law to our immigration system," Sen. Jeff Sessions, Alabama Republican and Judiciary Committee member, said Monday night after voting against the proposal.
He said the panel had "let the American people down by passing out a blanket amnesty bill. We've been down this path several times before, and it proved a failure."
Conservatives were especially appalled to see so many Republicans -- Sens. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, Mike DeWine of Ohio, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Sam Brownback of Kansas -- join panel Democrats to approve the proposal.
Mexican    "It appears that the members of the committee who voted for this misguided legislation are more in tune with the thousands of protesters waving Mexican flags in the streets of Los Angeles than they are with the overwhelming majority of Americans who are demanding that America's borders and national security be protected," said Bill Lauderback, executive vice president of the American Conservative Union. "The first priority of any immigration reform bill must be to secure our borders. By contrast, this bill undermines respect for the rule of law and encourages more illegals to storm our borders." - (Invasion!)

  • Mexico Cheers Passage of Immigration Amnesty Bill
Mexican Fox and Amnesty Bush toastMEXICO CITY -- Mexicans cheered the proposal approved Monday by the Senate Judiciary Committee to legalize undocumented migrants and provide temporary work visas, and credited huge marches of migrants across the United States as the decisive factor behind the vote. Mexican President Vicente Fox said the vote was the result of five years of work dating to the start of his presidential term in 2000, and puts Mexico one step closer toward the government's goal of "legalization for everyone" who works in the United States. Some Mexican media outlets were even more euphoric, predicting final approval for the committee bill as drafted, and suggesting the weekend demonstrations showed Mexico still holds some sway over former territories which it lost in the 1846-48 Mexican-American War. "With all due respect to Uncle Sam, this shows that Los Angeles has never stopped being ours," reporter Alberto Tinoco said on the Televisa television network's nightly news broadcast, referring to a Saturday march in Los Angeles that drew an estimated 500,000, mainly Mexicans.
  • Poll Shows Growing Fear of Backlash Among 'Legal' Immigrants
LOS ANGELES -- A majority of people who described themselves as legal immigrants for a poll released Tuesday said they believe anti-immigration sentiment is growing and are alarmed by the tone of the debate over reform.

  • Treasonous Senate Judiciary Committee OKs 'amnesty' bill that would put millions of illegal aliens on a path to U.S. citizenship,
would let them stay here while applying and would not punish their unlawful entry as a felony, contrary to a House-passed bill.
  • Roman Catholic Church, dozens of grass-roots coalitions and Spanish-language radio disc jockeys have helped fuel protests
nationwide against congressional efforts to tackle illegal immigration.
  • Mexico Optimistic for Immigrant Program
Mexicans welcomed the proposal approved Monday by the Senate Judiciary Committee to legalize undocumented migrants and provide temporary work visas, and President Vicente Fox told local media the bill was a "very important" step.
  • Polls: Public Concerned About Immigration
Most people in the United States think illegal immigration is a serious problem. A solid majority oppose making it easier for illegal immigrants to become legal workers or citizens. - If this were a 'democracy' that might make a difference - (Invasion!)

Mexico's War On America - By Frosty Wooldridge
In 1836, legends Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie and William Travis, along with 180 fearless men, fought Santa Anna's two thousand Mexican troops at the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. No contest! Santa Anna killed every last one of those brave men. Six weeks later, with a cry of "Remember the Alamo", Texans beat back the Mexican army and established Texas as a republic and later, part of the United States of America. Today, Mexico's declaration of war on America moves with quickening speed. Their modern day general known as President Vicente Fox is not content with retaking Texas. He invades all American states...- (Newsroom)

"Hispanic" Ex-official is accused of groping immigrant
Eddie Romualdo MirandaSANTA ANA – A former district adjudications officer for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has been charged with refusing to process a 29-year-old woman's request for U.S. citizenship unless she submitted to his sexual demands, Santa Ana police reported. Eddie Romualdo Miranda, 60, of Fontana surrendered Tuesday and was booked on charges of attempted oral copulation and sexual battery under color of law, said Sgt. Lorenzo Carrillo. • Non-Mexican migrants 'rent a family' to avoid deportation
Migrants sneaking illegally into the United States from countries other than Mexico are renting families -- mostly small children -- to ensure that if they are apprehended, they won't be deported, but released back into the United States, a top immigration official said yesterday. The "rent-a-family" scheme, said John P. Torres, director of the Office of Detention and Removal at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is being used by alien smugglers along the U.S.-Mexico border -- mainly in Texas -- to circumvent a new expedited-removal program for non-Mexican aliens, whose arrest under existing deportation policies had become known as "catch-and-release."  OTMs must be flown back to their home countries, a process that often takes months.    But only about 12 percent of OTMs who receive the notices show up, with U.S. Border Patrol sectors in Texas reporting no-show rates as high as 98 percent.

Illegal Mexican rapes ex-girlfriend's 13-year-old daughter
Mexican Enrique Escribano-Corbix, 20, took advantage of his ex-girlfriend's daughter, 13. "The suspect picked her up at her home to get a pop," "The guy that did it should be shot," said Bob Brossman. "I mean, that's ridiculous, something like that, I mean, a little girl." Police say Corbix's assault began in plain view on the Heritage Trail, but it ended up out of sight when he dragged her into a nearby trailer and forced her to have sex with him. Police arrested Corbix earlier this month on a probation violation for a drug charge. In relation to the alleged attack, he faces a laundry list of felonies including child molestation, criminal confinement, and intimidation.  The intimidation charge because, police say, Corbix threatened the girl to not tell her mother. So she didn't for over a month Police say Corbix is an illegal immigrant from Mexico City, Mexico. He is in Vigo County jail on $100,000 bond. - (reader link) - (crime) - (Invasion!) - (Newsroom)

AMERICA'S LEAST WANTED * Immigrations Human Cost
We often hear that "immigrants only come here to work" but that sentimental fluff ignores the obvious truth — that to a crime-minded foreigner, America is the full refrigerator of his dreams. The material riches, combined with many Americans' naivete when it comes to crime, make this nation easy pickings for the lowlifes of the world.

  "Spic Spanic cleanser"

Spic 'n Span: What Happened?
"When I was a kid, "Spic 'n Span" was a synonym for clean. Something has since altered my perception of english slang. This morning, I saw a "Spic 'n Span" bathroom & kitchen cleanser commercial and thought: "What an odd name!" It sounded like a racial slur combined with an architectural term..."
NNN Editor note: we need a border-to-border 'clean sweep' of illegal aliens.
