Canadian visitor Chi Yung Luu Suspected Of Videotaping Locker Room Shower  OLYMPIA, Wash. -- A British Columbia man has been arrested for investigation of videotaping male high school wrestlers in a locker room shower during a tournament at Tumwater High School.
Tumwater police say the man, Chi Yung Luu, 29, had a video camera hidden in a towel. The man was booked into Thurston County Jail for investigation of 15 counts of voyeurism, one for each athlete police say were filmed. The incident happened during the Tumwater Invitational wrestling tournament. - (Canada) - (-88-) |
Couple Charged With Homicide In Death Of Their Nephew RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- A man and his wife were charged with homicide in the death of their 11-year-old nephew, and police were investigating whether another body found at their home may have been that of the boy's older brother. Raul Ricardo Sarinana, 38, was arrested after he called police and
reported that he "may have killed his nephew". Sarinana's wife, Cathy Lynn Sarinana, 28, was also arrested.
Raul Sarinara was charged with homicide with special circumstances of inflicting torture, and Cathy Sarinara with homicide and felony child endangerment. The 11-year-old had several injuries that appeared consistent with child abuse.. The cause of death was pending, based on autopsy results. - (aryan_barbarian) |

Lawsuit Alleges Discrimination Against Whites in Mississippi MACON, Miss. — In overwhelmingly black and Democratic Noxubee County, Miss., everybody knows local Democratic Party Chairman Ike Brown. Officials at the U.S. Justice Department know Brown too; they're suing him. Using the 1965 Voting Rights Act, the government has alleged that Brown and local elections officials discriminated against whites. It is the first time the Justice Department has ever claimed that whites suffered discrimination in voting because of race. The Justice Department says Brown and local elections officials disenfranchised whites — challenging their voting status, rejecting their absentee ballots and telling voters to choose candidates according to race. Assault Charge Filed In Cell Phone Swallowing - Phone Was Lodged In Woman's Throat  KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A 23-year-old man was charged in connection with a woman who was assaulted with a cell phone.
Marlon B. Gill was charged with first-degree assault.
Melinda Abell was taken to a hospital when she had trouble breathing. Doctors operated to remove a cell phone that was lodged in her throat.
Abell told officers that Gill, her ex-boyfriend, had forced her into a car and demanded to see her cell phone. They were stopped in a parking lot and Abell said Gill grabbed her by the mouth, held it open and shoved the phone down her throat.

Black former officer accused of rape, kidnap, strangulation and sexual abuse * Bail is set at $115,000 in rape case SALEM, Ore. -- A former Salem police officer faces charges of rape, strangulation, kidnapping and sex abuse. Sterling Van Ness Alexander, 38, was arrested and is lodged without bail in the Clackamas County Jail. The alleged victim met Alexander through his work. Prosecutors say the crimes happened in September 2003 while the officer was off duty. It was not reported until earlier this year. Alexander resigned from the Salem Police Department last year. Sports: Florida State footballer A.J. Nicholson accused of rape  Fla. -- Leading tackler A.J. Nicholson was suspended by Florida State and questioned by police Thursday after a 19-year-old woman accused him of sexually assaulting her. The woman called police at 3 a.m. Thursday and said she had been assaulted by a Florida State player, later identified as Nicholson, a police detective said. The alleged assault occurred at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa, where the Seminoles are staying. Nicholson went to the police station voluntarily and was questioned for two hours, Negron said. Black Public Defender Resigns Amid Allegations Of Sexual Misconduct DURHAM, N.C. -- Durham's lead public defender, accused of inappropriate conduct in the workplace, has, resigned. Bob Brown, who was suspended last week amid allegations that he used his authority as public defender to make sexual advances toward an assistant public defender, submitted his resignation. In court documents filed last week, Danielle Bruno alleges that Brown shared
with her in graphic detail about his anatomy and a personal experience. She also
accused him of asking for personal details about her marriage and her life.

Black professional armed robber shoots lighter-skinned black software engineer in the back in a 'random act'   BALTIMORE -- Police announced Tuesday afternoon the arrest of a man allegedly connected to the slaying of a father of three children last month.
Baltimore police said Alvin Williams, 25, turned himself in because of pressure from police and relatives.
Authorities charged Williams with the murder of Brian Jones, 33, and two unrelated armed robberies.
Jones was shot in what police have called a "random act" -- a robbery in which nothing was taken. Police discovered Jones' body on the lawn of a nursing home with at least one
gunshot wound to the back. Jones was a software engineer at Northrup-Grumman who coached sports at a High School. He was also a basketball player at his alma mater, Tennessee State University. - (crime) - (NNN Newsroom) |

Two blacks shoot Hispanic 'Jesus' dead on Christmas Eve  Police have made an arrest in a Christmas Eve shooting case that left one man dead.
Terrance Watters, 19, of Birmingham, has been arrested.
However, they're still looking for another suspect, 17-year-old Ronald Mayhand.
Mayhand is considered armed and dangerous.
Police believe the two broke into the home of 26-year-old Jesus Galacia Toral Saturday and shot him.

2 Spanics arrested in Wheaton rape -
Woman says two Hispanics dragged her into house and gang-raped her  Two men have been arrested in connection with a sexual assault that occurred early Christmas Day.
Police said a 38-year-old woman was walking on Shorefield Road when she was approached by two Hispanic men. Investigators said the men dragged her to a residence in the 2300 block of Shorefield Road and forcibly raped her. Police arrested Jose H. Portillo, 36, and Manuel Hernandez-Ayala, 32, and charged them with first-degree rape.

White mother and black live-in boyfriend charged with first-degree murder in beating death of woman's White 6-yr-old son   Family members of the 24-year-old Cahokia mother who is accused of killing her 6-year-old son say that's not the loved one they know.
Starr Lohman's mother, Brenda Watts of St. Louis, said her daughter loved her son, Ryan Smith, very much.
Lohman and her live-in boyfriend, Lee D. Crutchfield, 33, were charged Tuesday with the beating death of Ryan, who was found dead Christmas Day in Cahokia.
St. Clair County Coroner Rick Stone said the boy was "badly beaten and clearly emaciated." An autopsy showed that Ryon, who was not enrolled in school, died from blunt trauma to the head and torso. - (NNN Newsroom) - (crime) - (Black-on-White) |
Diverse Couple Charged With Killing Witness Detectives arrested Aldrick Lillard, 21, and his girlfriend Vanessa Claude, 25 at her home in Murfreesboro. They are charged with killing a murder witness in Rutherford County. The murder was swift and precise. Randy Betts, 49 was killed inside his own home with a single gunshot to the head. The killers left the body, but didn't leave empty handed, they got away with credit cards and checks from the house. Apparently, the suspects went from the murder scene to local stores. Betts was expected to testify against Darren Yeager who is charged with murder of Tony Akins. Black Man Arrested for Raping Two-Month-Old Baby  A St. Landry Parish man could be put to death if he's found guilty of raping a two-month-old baby. The suspect reportedly confessed to the crime. 26-year-old Frederick Bias, Jr. was arrested and booked into the St. Landry Parish jail. Bias is accused of raping a two-month-old baby. The mother witnessed the alleged crime and after talking with family members, decided to bring the two-month-old to an emergency room. Chief Deputy Laura Balthazar says after detectives arrived, it was assertained that Bias molested the young child. She says after detectives brought him in and interrogated him, he confessed. - (Rasp) - (crime) |

Officers responded to a report of a shooting
inside the Valley Plaza wherein a 19 year old male was shot and killed in the main east west corridor between Champs Sports and Express retail stores.
Witnesses reported that two groups of young men confronted each other between the two stores and exchanged words at which point the suspect displayed a handgun and shot at the victim at least on time striking him in the chest. The suspect and other members
of the two opposing groups ran west through the mall.
The suspect is described as a Black male 15-20 years old, 5'9" -6'0' with short black hair wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and long shorts. 
Till death do us part? An unusual wedding ceremony was held in the southern resort town of Eilat as Sharon Tendler, a 41-years-old Jewish millionaire from London married her beloved Cindy, a 35-years-old dolphin, Israel's leading newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
The groom, a resident of the Eilat dolphin reef, met Tendler 15 years ago, when she first visited the resort. The British rock concert producer took a liking to the dolphin and has made a habit of traveling to Eilat two or three times a year and spending time with her underwater sweetheart. "But what kind of children would they have?" one of the children in the crowd asked his father. 
A naked man in Lake County, Fla., claiming to be Satan was arrested after he threatened to kill a sheriff's deputy and then injured the man in a neighborhood street, according to a police report. When deputies arrived, they found Roy Lee Henson walking with his boxer shorts
around his ankles and screaming wildly, according to the report.
Henson then lunged at a sheriff's deputy, the report said.
Backup officers arrived and took Henson into custody as the man screamed he was Satan.
