Terrence Landry Back in Lafayette to Face Rape Charges
A man accused of a January rape is back in Lafayette to face rape charges. Terrence Landry was arrested in Houston earlier this year for the brutal rape of his ex-girlfriend. Landry escaped from Houston police custody, but was later re-arrested. He was extradited back to Lafayette over the weekend. Bond was set on one of Landry's charges. - (crime)

  The issue has been an especially sensitive one in some predominantly black congregations, where pastors have maintained that homosexuality is a sin or a social disorder that should not be compared with race or ethnicity. Arrest Made In Attempted Arlington Rape - Delaorubio Charged With Abduction
ARLINGTON, Va. -- A man was arrested Friday night on suspicion of breaking into a home last week and attempting to sexually assault two women. Rudi Romero Delaorubio, 26, was charged with one count of abduction with intent to defile. Additional charges are pending. Police said two women were inside their home at about 11:30 p.m. when they heard a knock on the door. The women said they refused to open the door because they did not recognize the man knocking. Police said the man later broke through a window and forced the women into a bedroom at knifepoint. - (crime)

• Two-week effort nets 582 illegal alien 'Hispanic' gang arrests
  Investigators picked up most of the offenders between July 16 and July 28 on immigration violations for being in the United States illegally. Seventy-six face criminal charges, ranging from illegal possession of a firearm to holding fraudulent documents. Investigators targeted members in 27 states of what they considered to be the most violent street gangs, including Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13; Surenos; the 18th Street Gang; Latin Kings; the Mexican Mafia; Border Brothers; Brown Pride and numerous others.

  More than half of them have been members of MS-13, a street gang rooted in Central America where members have been known to behead enemies and attack with grenades and machetes. Federal officials estimate between 8,000 and 10,000 MS-13 members live in 31 states. - (White Boy)
