Accused Of Killing Girl, Baby; Burying Them Alive A man accused of stabbing, beating and burying a 14-year-old pregnant girl alive is going on trial five years after her death. Prosecutors said Lord Hampton is one of two men who "butchered" Chuantae Jones and killed her unborn child. She was eight months pregnant when she vanished in 1999. man suspected of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy appeared in court Friday.
Brandon Dawson, 22, was captured by police after robbing a bank. The boy was at a soccer game at about 2:15 p.m. when Dawson told the boy he had a gun and forced him into a bathroom inside the school. He then attacked him, police said. Dawson faces three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He is already serving three years probation for molesting a disabled boy last year. - (Border Ruffian) |

"Supremacists" Want Booth at Mississippi State Fair Featuring Suspect
in 1964 Slayings A white-supremacist organization is seeking permission to have a booth at next month's state fair featuring a suspect in the 1964 slayings of three civil rights workers. The state Fair Commission rejected the http://www.nationalist.org/application to operate a booth at the fair because of "typographical errors," but gave the group until Thursday to resubmit its request, said Richard Barrett, the organization's leader. In the meantime, State Assistant Attorney General Bob Graves said the Fair Commission and state officials would meet to discuss whether Edgar Ray Killen would be permitted to attend. Barrett said he wanted to hold a petition drive at the fair in support of Killen, and that Killen had agreed to participate. Representatives of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and other local leaders gathered at Mississippi's agriculture department Monday to protest the possibility of Killen's inclusion. - (forum) |

In Great Britain the fertility rate is only 1.6 children per woman; in many Balkan nations the birth rate has dropped to 1.2 children; fertility in Spain is the worst of any European nation at just over one child per woman. Al Khattab Killed Black Officer Before Being Shot By Police A
Butler University police officer was fatally shot outside the campus fieldhouse
Friday morning, and a suspect in the slaying died after being shot by officers
later in the day. Butler Officer James Davis,
31, was shot in the parking lot of Hinkle Fieldhouse. Later, police shot Kahdir
Al Khattab a few blocks from campus. Al Khattab, 26, who police say matched
the denoscription of the man who shot Davis, was taken to a local hospital and died

Carjackings Suspect Nabbed in Mo. A
man who police said carjacked four vehicles in the San Francisco Bay area -- sexually
assaulting two of the victims -- was arrested in Missouri. Derrick Austin Hill,
22, was arrested without incident as he and a friend drove toward St. Louis. Hill
was jailed in Missouri and officials sought to extradite him to California. Hill
faced charges including kidnapping, sexual assault and robbery-carjacking. - (Hellcat,

death of white  An
arrest warrant has been issued for the stabbing death of Timothy
Griffith after a baseball game on Sept. 17. Rafael Antonio Cuevas,
22, of San Francisco, is suspected of killing Griffith, 21, of Redwood City, who
was stabbed in the heart after brushing up against the suspect's car as he walked

Police Seek Suspect In Brutal Rape Of Woman  Cincinnati
police are asking for help in tracking down a rape suspect. Police say the suspect
brutally attacked and raped a woman in Over-The-Rhine. The woman was found naked
and with severe injuries on Reading Road Monday. |

Third Former La Salle Player Charged With Rape - a migrant from England Philadelphia
police say a third former La Salle University basketball player is now charged
with rape. Police say 22-year-old Dzaflo Larkai is now facing charges for
an allegation that he attacked a woman in April of last year. Larkai's accuser
played on La Salle's women's team. She's a friend of the University of New Haven
women's team member who's accusing two other La Salle players of sexually assualting

Black Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 75-Year-Old Woman SAN
ANTONIO -- A district judge denied a request to suppress DNA evidence in a rape
trial. Lawyers for Melvin Lewis argued that police used an invalid search
warrant when they obtained a DNA sample from the defendant, who is accused of
sexually assaulting a 75-year-old woman. . But the judge disagreed with defense
lawyers and ruled that the DNA sample, the heart of the prosecution's case, will
be allowed to be used as evidence in the trial. |

Black charged with rape-murder of 81-yr-old woman
CINCINNATI -- A man charged with murdering two women in other states has been
charged with killing an 81-year-old woman in her Covedale apartment. Cincinnati
Police today filed an arrest warrant for Willie James Hodges, 44, for the
rape and murder of LaVern Jansen. Hodges is in jail awaiting trial
for the murder and rape of a 58-year-old woman
and he's also been charged with the murder and
