Lindsay was the terrorist who carried a bomb on to a Tube train at Kings Cross on July 7, killing 26 people. "I used to get heroin and crack cocaine off him every day for about two years. "He was always going on about racism. "He thought all white people were trash and said he was going to get them all on drugs to kill them off." Lindsay married another convert to Islam, Samantha Lewthwaite.   A row has erupted in Italy after a Nazi war criminal being held under house arrest in Rome was allowed to go on holiday to Lake Maggiore. Erich Priebke, 92, is serving a life sentence for the murder of 335 people at the Ardeatine caves outside Rome. He is staying at a villa which belongs to the son of a former Gestapo chief.

• Suspect Charged in Failed London Attacks
  London police on Saturday charged a suspect in the failed July 21 attacks with conspiracy to murder and possession of explosives the first charges to be laid in Britain against any of the would-be bombers. Yassin Hassan Omar, 24, is suspected of trying to bomb a subway train near Warren Street station on July 21. The Metropolitan Police said he was charged with conspiring "with others unknown to murder passengers on the transport for London system."

  A BARMAN has said he no longer feels safe in an area of the East End after he was attacked by a pack of Asian youths.
  Sebastian Tarek, 28, an Australian who lives in Whitechapel, was struck in the head and face with a glass bottle. He works at the Royal Oak bar on Colombia Road, and moments after enjoying a drink there he was beaten by a gang. "I was walking down the road, I turned around the corner and I walked into a large group of 15 and 16 year-olds," he told the Advertiser. "First of all I was hit in the mouth and my tooth came out, and the next two blows hit me on the side and the back of the head." Cllr Simon Tesler, who represents Stoke Newington's Lordship ward, was accused of being "homophobic" and a "bigot" by leaders of the ruling Labour group this week following remarks he made at last Wednesday's council meeting. However Cllr Tesler, an Orthodox Jew, this week refused to withdraw the remark, saying he was only quoting what is written in the Bible in Leviticus 18.12, which calls it an abomination "to lie with a male as with a woman."

• Exterminate Muslims: radio host
  A radio commentator in Denmark has been charged with violating anti-racism laws after he issued an on-air call to "exterminate" fanatical Muslims in Western Europe, police said overnight. Kaj Vilhelmsen, a pundit on the extreme right wing local Copenhagen station Radio Holger, said after last month's bombings in London that terrorism could only be fought by "chasing all the Muslim foreigners from Western Europe so that they can't plant bombs". The only other option, he said, was "to exterminate the fanatics, or in other words kill a large number of Muslim immigrants".
