Black arrested for murder of White man in Fort Pierce FORT PIERCE — A 20-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on a homicide charge following the death of a man found in May with a gunshot wound to the head. Arkevius Rasharad Malone, was arrested in connection with the death of Joseph Brown. Police spokesman Ed Cunningham said Brown was 57. Brown was found dead May 26 in his apartment. Brown’s family went to pick him up, but no one answered the door. The family asked that the front office check on Brown’s residence, and workers found him in a pool of blood next to his bed. A single .380 caliber cartridge casing was on the bed, but no firearm was recovered. Brown’s phone records, obtained by his son, showed the last 13 text messages to and from Brown’s phone, all May 24, were from the same number. The victim in a burglary case at Malone’s listed address said on June 30 her home was burglarized and her boyfriend’s necklace was among the items taken. She identified her boyfriend as Arkevius Malone. She gave his phone number as the same one police said was involved in the texts with Brown. Malone was arrested June 20 on an unrelated case and has been in jail since then. On July 20, investigators went to talk to Malone in jail, and he denied knowing Brown or contacting him. The next day, an investigator intercepted a phone call Malone made to his girlfriend “in which they spoke about something bad Mr. Malone had done.” “You know what I’m talking about, what happened a long time ago,” Malone is quoted as saying. Malone referred to speaking with investigators and said, “What happened a long time ago, that came up. They tried to get to me, but I didn’t break.” Malone’s girlfriend told police Malone met a man on Facebook and arranged to meet him to borrow about $40. She remembered driving Malone to an apartment complex to get the money about a month before July 21. She said she dropped Malone off about 6 p.m., and said he returned to their home on Wilkins Avenue about 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. She said she asked Malone if he’d gotten the money and he said he had. “She stated Mr. Malone had his head down and stated he had done something bad,” an affidavit said. She told police Malone carries guns and has photos of himself on Facebook handling guns. - (Black-on-white) |

Interracial Duo (Hispanic female and black man) convicted of Eagle Township murder charged in (White) Lansing man's death LANSING - 62-year-old Eagle Township resident Jeffrey Kebler was brutally murdered inside his home. Police say that case — which ultimately saw four people sentenced to lengthy prison terms for murder and other charges. That October, Alexis Pena testified in court that she, her fiance Dominique Harris and two other men walked through an unlocked door into Kebler’s home and choked him with a rope saw before stabbing him in the neck. The group, she said, spent hours rummaging through the home and eventually stole TVs, tools, jewelry and other items. Her testimony was made as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors. Pena pinned much of the blame on Mitchell Ballinger and Manuel Martinez, the other two men facing charges, and in return got the lightest prison sentence: 20-60 years. Ballinger, Martinez and Harris — Pena’s fiance — all eventually reached plea deals of their own, and were each sentenced in April 2016 to at least 30 years in prison. (Black) Motorist on the run after hitting, killing Haines City bicyclist, officials say Polk County authorities are searching for a man they say fatally hit a bicyclist Monday morning in Haines City before fleeing. Darrell Lavel Coleman, Jr., 26, killed Charles Hudson, Jr., 66, as the older man cycled on the shoulder of Kokomo Road, according to Polk County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Carrie Horstman. Coleman later ditched his vehicle near Detour Road, she said. Officials said they think Coleman is in or near Lake Hamilton, where he he is thought to have last lived on North Church Street, Horstman said. He is likely dressed in jeans and a black T-shirt, she said. The Lake Hamilton Police Department picked Coleman up June 30 on drug-possession charges. He was released the next day after posting bail. Hudson was a resident of Solivita, a Poinciana retirement community, and volunteered with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Assisted Patrol. In April, the Sheriff’s Office honored him for devoting 345 hours to the program in 2016. "Charles was a beloved member of the Solivita CAP group and a devoted volunteer at our agency. … Tragically, he was killed while out doing something he loved — bicycling,” Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said. “We hope to have the person responsible for his death in jail before the day's end. We won't stop until we find him." - (Black-on-white) |
Witness tied suspects to (White) Masury man’s murder, another Youngstown shooting YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Youngstown police said a witness helped tie two men from Columbus to the killing a Masury man near the Four Seasons Flea Market last November. Daniel Kitchen and his half-brother, David Madumelu, are facing several charges related to the death of 34-year-old Joshua Beasley. Police said they also shot two women on Youngstown’s south side the next day in an attempt to cover up Beasley’s murder. Beth Kowalski, Beasley’s sister, said her family is still coming to terms with her brother’s death eight months ago. “Josh was the kind of person that would give you anything that you wanted, that you asked for, that last dollar in his wallet,” she said. That’s why Beasley’s death was all the more shocking. Police said a witness pointed to Madumelu as the shooter, saying that he and Kitchen killed Beasley after they robbed him. The witness was arrested in Columbus — along with Madumelu and Kitchen — on charges related to a string of robberies there. She recounted the circumstances surrounding that day, on November 6, when Beasley was killed. - (Black-on-white) |

New trial ordered for (black pos) serving life term for beating death of elderly Paulsboro woman WOODBURY - An appeals court ordered a new trial Tuesday for a Paulsboro man serving a life term for the slaying of an elderly woman. Samuel Davis, 50, had no possibility of parole under his May 2015 sentence for the death of 79-year-old Thirza Sweeten. The elderly victim was beaten, stabbed and strangled in her Paulsboro home in March 2012. A Gloucester County jury convicted Davis of aggravated manslaughter after a nine-day trial, but acquitted him of murder and weapons charges. Tuesday's decision threw out the guilty verdict, saying the judge at Davis' trial did not properly answer a question from the jury shortly before it ended seven hours of deliberations. It said Superior Court Judge Kevin Smith's error affected Davis' right to a fair trial, "especially as the evidence tying defendant to the crime was not overwhelming." Among other points, the two-judge panel noted DNA evidence did not link Davis to a golf club and phone cord used in the bloody attack. It also cited a defense attorney's argument that Davis had no motive to kill Sweeten, an acquaintance's mother who was not robbed or sexually assaulted. Sweeten's DNA was found in a blood stain on Davis' pants, the ruling observed. - (Black-on-white) |

(BLACK MUSLIM) Juvenile lifer resentenced to 50 years in prison - for brutal rape and murder of 17-year-old White girl in 1970 William Hines was 15 when he was convicted of assaulting and murdering a 17-year-old girl from East Liberty. He was sentenced to life in prison. That was 47 years ago. At a hearing Tuesday, Hines was resentenced to 50 years to life in prison, and with credit for time served, he’ll be eligible for parole in three years. At 62, Hines is one of the oldest juvenile lifers convicted here.. He was convicted of first-degree murder for killing Eileen Taylor, who was two months away from graduating high school in 1970, when she was found dead behind a grocery store in Homewood. The Sacred Heart High School student had been stabbed, suffered a skull fracture and had been sexually assaulted. A witness described a man in a trench coat and bright pink pants following a young woman. Another witness saw a boy struggling with a girl, while another heard screams. Still additional witnesses told police they saw Hines in muddy clothes later that night. Investigators found muddy pink pants at a nearby cleaner’s, and that led them to the teenage Hines, said Ron Freeman, a longtime Pittsburgh police commander who investigated the case as part of the homicide unit and testified at the resentencing hearing before Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Kevin G. Sasinoski. Cmdr. Freeman said Hines originally confessed that he and a friend assaulted Eileen. Evidence, however, pointed to Hines alone. Hines entered a general plea of guilty less than six months later, and a three-judge panel found him guilty of first-degree murder. He was given the mandatory penalty of life without parole. Family members testified Tuesday that Eileen’s death devastated their family. She was a “kind and loving girl with a generous heart,” said her sister, Rosemary Taylor Flamman. Ms. Flamman and Eileen’s two other sisters each described how their father blamed himself and fell into depression, dying at 61. Some family members experienced post-traumatic stress disorder. “You never truly recover,” another sister, Kathleen Taylor, said. Ms. Flamman said she often had nightmares about what happened to her sister. “I believe [Hines’] act deserves the sentence he received,” she said. He is a practicing Muslim, he has painted murals while in prison and he earned a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University. - (Black-on-white) |

Curtis Jamaar Echols, 25, of Paulding, Ohio, checked into the America's Best Value Inn on Ramada Drive early July 6, according to court testimony from Michigan State Police Detective Troy Johnston. Based on security camera footage, Christina Daughenbaugh joined Echols in the room at 3:36 a.m. the next morning, Johnston said. Echols left the room about an hour later and did not return, Johnston said. Daughenbaugh's body was found shortly before noon when cleaning staff entered the room. Inside, police found "a lot of blood" on the floor and elsewhere, the detective said. Investigators also found a Domino's pizza box and got Echols' cell phone number after calling the restaurant, Johnston said. They then tracked his phone to a Greyhound bus traveling near South Bend, Indiana, where Indiana State Police arrested Echols. (Black nword) sentenced to life for RAPE and MURDER of (White) female sheriff’s deputy A Homer man who killed a Webster Parish sheriff’s deputy in 2016 was formally sentenced Tuesday morning to life in prison. District Judge Glenn Fallin imposed the mandatory sentence resulting from a Bienville Parish jury's conviction in April of 41-year-old Andrew Critton in the second-degree murder of Sulyn Prince, 69, of Homer. Two of Prince’s daughters broke down in tears while reading victim impact letters prior to the sentencing. No others spoke. Jermaine Johnson, another man initially accused in Prince’s death, pleaded no contest to accessory after the fact to second-degree murder in late June. A news release Friday from District Attorney Danny Newell stated a plea was accepted from Johnson without specifying the plea was no contest. Johnson was the first to be arrested in Prince’s death. A grand jury indicted him on a charge of second-degree murder. That charge was dismissed and replaced with obstruction of justice. However, that charge was also dismissed in the plea bargain, Harville said. Fallin sentenced Johnson to the maximum of five years in prison for his role in concealing evidence in Prince’s murder. DNA evidence linked Critton, not Johnson, to Sulyn’s violent death, according to testimony at Critton’s trial. - (Black-on-white) |

Prince’s body was discovered Jan. 11, 2016 in a shallow grave near her home. Family members had reported a welfare concern the day before after not being able to reach her and finding her home in disarray. Prince was a corrections officer for the Webster Parish Sheriff's Office. Johnson and Critton lived in the vicinity of Prince's home and served time together in the Claiborne Parish Detention Center. They also had a history of sex-related crimes. Critton acted alone in the rape and murder of Sylyn Prince. Johnson’s role was limited to the concealment of evidence following the crime.” At Critton’s trial, a forensic pathologist said Prince was bludgeoned in the head by a fire extinguisher, describing the blow as one of the worst skull fractures – with the exception of high-speed car crashes – witnessed in over 2,000 autopsies. The violent act left Prince’s home splattered with blood. Other blood drops were found on broken furniture in the room. A blood-soaked rug, the fire extinguisher and some of Prince's clothing were recovered from a nearby creek. After she was killed, Prince's body was dragged from the house and through the yard. A wheelbarrow was then used to move her body to a nearby wooded lot, where it was buried. An early morning frost left clear drag and wheel paths in the yard, and evidence from Prince’s home was scattered from the creek to the burial site, the lead investigator told the jury. | ||
Two worthless criminal parasitic predator blacks killed a White man for his restaurant waiter small change tip money LANTANA, Florida —The family of a restaraunt server fatally shot on Hypoluxo Road late Sunday has heard he may have been shot for his tip money. Investigators from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Justin VanMeter apparently took out his tip money following a double shift at the Cracker Barrel in Boynton Beach to pay for cigarettes at the Hypoluxo Food Mart, Julia Renee Walton, VanMeter’s cousin, said Tuesday. Walton said PBSO told her family the men behind him at the checkout saw him take out his tip money, followed him out of the convenience store and shot him for the cash. “He worked a long day and just wanted to go home,” Walton said while holding back sobs. Mcintosh Pierre-Paul, 25, and Jean Mary Marcherno, 20, were arrested Tuesday on first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of VanMeter, the sheriff’s office said. They will be seen before a judge Wednesday morning at the Palm Beach County Jail to determine bond. Walton said VanMeeter was in a relationship and had a three-month old son named Ethan. She was relieved to find out that someone was arrested for the death of her cousin, who was like an older brother. “At least they’re not out there anymore,” she said. “Now, we can get answers.” - (Black-on-white) |
