(Black) Providence man, 18, arraigned in murder of (White) Army veteran  PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A local man who just turned 18 is charged with the murder of an Army veteran and the stabbing of his friend in a Walgreens parking lot early Saturday. Erico Montalvo, of 10 Pocasset Ave., wore no expression as he was led handcuffed into District Court to face the charges. The timing, coincidentally, was just before the funeral Mass for 26-year-old Colby Mendonca of Pawtucket. Mendonca and his friend, Russell Gleason, 25, were in the parking lot behind the Walgreens at 533 Elmwood Ave. just before 2 a.m. when they got into an argument with strangers. The argument became a fight that left Gleason badly injured and Mendonca dead. Montalvo admitted to Providence investigators that he'd been at the scene and had stabbed both men. Montalvo was charged with murder and assault with a dangerous weapon, both felonies. - (Black-on-white) |
Clifton man shot suspect in anti-white hate crime, cops say STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Clifton man who allegedly shot a reputed Bloods-affiliated gang member in Stapleton last month was arrested on assault and weapons charges late Tuesday night, police said. Corey Mills, 26, a resident of the Park Hill Apartments, shot Tombstone Gangstas member Raymond Banks in the left hand during an argument on Metcalfe Street on the night of June 28, according to charging documents. The bullet also grazed Banks' thigh, causing an abrasion to his leg, the criminal complaint states. The victim, who is an acquaintance of Mills, is also currently locked up. He was recently charged with assault as a hate crime and gang assault for taking part in an attack on a white man in Stapleton, according to complaints filed in Stapleton Criminal Court. Banks, 22, of Port Richmond, was part of a group that attacked the 28-year-old white victim on Targee Street between Laurel and Vanderbilt avenues on June 19, police allege. "You white piece of (expletive)! You white cracker! You're in the wrong neighborhood!" the group yelled as they beat the man and pelted him with garbage and debris, according to complaints filed in Stapleton Criminal Court. Police: Third teen arrested in officer hit-and-run case   ORLANDO, Fla. — A third teenager was arrested Saturday in connection to an incident that severely injured an Orlando police officer early Monday morning. Orlando police arrested 17-year-old Alfonza Singleton Saturday on a warrant. He is charged with resisting arrest without violence. Authorities said Singleton ran from a vehicle that was stopped by Officer William Anderson on South Kirkman Road. The driver of the vehicle, 17-year-old Edward Kelty, struck and ran over Anderson seconds after Singleton fled, according to police. A third suspect in the vehicle, 17-year-old Angel Nieves, was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence. Investigators said Anderson opened fire after he was hit by the car. Kelty suffered a gunshot wound, and police said Nieves took the wheel and drove him to the hospital. Anderson, who was working off-duty at the time, initially pulled over the car in connection with reports of shots fired near an IHOP restaurant, police said. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Suspect in (White) security guard's death was out on bond for murder   HOUSTON – Houston police have arrested a suspect in Wednesday's fatal shooting of a security guard. Jeremy Wayne Miller is charged with murder in the death of 55-year-old security guard Daniel Arp. Arp was gunned down while working security at the St. Joseph Condominiums in the 8200 block of Park Place Boulevard. Surveillance video showed the victim talking with a man before he was shot. That video helped lead to Miller. When officers arrested Miller Thursday night, they say he tried to grab one cop's gun and escape, but they stopped him. Miller was out on bond for a 2014 murder and was wearing a court-mandated ankle monitor when Arp was shot. Investigators say he shot and killed Tremayne Richardson last July. (Two White) 13-Year-Old Girls Say Their Lemonade Stand Was Robbed (by cowardly criminal black predator)   RANCHO CUCAMONGA — An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the theft of profits from a lemonade stand in Rancho Cucamonga. The stand had been setup by Julie Jacobs and Chase Anderson and was situated in a shady spot just across the street from a school and at a busy intersection. It was there the girls say the suspect had stopped by the table, first posing as a customer. “We were just sitting down talking to each other, and he asked us for a cup of lemonade,” said Jacobs. The girls explain that they gave the man a free cup of lemonade after they say he told them he had lost his money. Then, Jacobs says: “He just ran back and kind of pushed the table towards us and took the money and just kept running.” “We got up and started screaming, ‘Come back!’ And then this lady came by and she called the police,” Anderson said. That’s when a brother of one of the girls, Keiran Anderson, and his buddy swooped into action. “We saw the dude with my sister’s box and just ran after him,” he said. Authorities raced to the scene and arrested the suspect identified by police as Santini Tate of Riverside on suspicion of strong-arm robbery. (Black) Teen charged with attempted 2nd-degree murder after (White) Orlando officer run down  ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police have made two arrests in the case of an Orlando police officer injured after being run down during a traffic stop. [WARNING, content may be graphic: Scroll below for dash camera video] Local 6 has learned the officer who was injured, William Anderson, is now listed in serious condition and is being transferred to Shands Medical Center in Gainesville. Police said Edward Kelty (pictured left), 17, was driving south on Kirkman Road early Monday morning when Anderson approached with his gun drawn and was run over when he went to chase after a passenger. "Edward Kelty was behind the wheel of the vehicle," Orlando Police Chief John Mina said. "We have physical evidence. We have forensic evidence, and we have testimony to put him behind the wheel of that vehicle ran over our officer." Detectives made a second arrest Wednesday. Police said Angel Nieves (pictured), 17, was inside the car when Anderson was run over by Kelty. Both Kelty and Nieves will appear in court on Thursday afternoon. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black 'cold-blooded killer') to be executed for 2005 murder of (White) 93-year-old woman    HUNTSVILLE, Texas - A death-row inmate convicted of fatally beating and stabbing a 93-year-old woman during a robbery at her Texas home is facing execution without any last-minute court appeals. Clifton Lamar Williams is set to die Thursday evening for the 2005 slaying of Cecelia Schneider in Tyler. Firefighters responding to a call about smoke coming from her house found her body. Investigators determined her body and bed had been set on fire after she'd been killed. Prosecutors allege Williams broke into her home to get money for cocaine. He was arrested a week after the killing, after investigators found his blood and fingerprints in the woman's car, which had been found wrecked and abandoned. If the execution is carried out, the 31-year-old Williams would be the 10th Texas prisoner executed this year. - (Black-on-white) |

Black arrested for manslaughter in hit-and-run death of (White) artists and cyclist  New Orleans police confirmed an arrest Monday (July 13) in connection with the July 6 hit-and-run that killed artist and cyclist Ben Gregory. The surrender of suspect Curtis Joseph Turner, 45, was arranged by his attorney. Turner was booked with one count of manslaughter and one count of felony hit-and-run. Turner was driving at high speed when he struck Gregory from behind while the cyclist was pedaling in the far right travel lane. The impact knocked Gregory off his bike, into the windshield of the vehicle and onto the roadway. Gregory was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe Turner fled the scene without stopping to render aid. - (Black-on-white) |
(Black) Suspect arrested in murder (of White woman) Renee Eldridge  MACON COUNTY, Ala. – The Macon County Sheriff’s Office is confirming that Stacey Gray is in their custody. They say he is suspected in the murder of previously missing Columbus woman Renee Eldridge. Notasulga Police offficers and Macon County deputies, with the assistance of The U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Recovery Unit found and arrested Gray around 12:45 Tuesday morning. Local residents actually spotted Gray in a yard on Lily Lane in Notasulga before alerting police. Officials say the residents held Gray at gunpoint until he was detained by officers. Gray was found to have a semi-automatic pistol on his person at the time of his arrest. He was handed over to Valley Police, who proceeded to take Gray to Chambers County Detention Facility. Eldridge originally went missing on July 4th from her home in Columbus. Her body was found in Osanippa Creek in Valley last week. She was discovered to have died from blunt force trauma to the head. - (Black-on-white) |

9-yr-old boy allegedly handcuffed, beaten to death by mother's black boyfriend for taking piece of birthday cake     HAGERSTOWN, Md. -- Jack Garcia, a 9-year old boy in Hagerstown, Maryland was allegedly handcuffed and beaten near death for taking a piece of birthday cake. Officers with the Hagerstown Police Department were called to a home for a report of possible child abuse. Upon arriving on scene, officers found a 9-year-old "unresponsive and not breathing." In court Thursday afternoon, the prosecutor said the little boy is not expected to live. The boy suffered multiple bruises and contusions on his face, ears, neck, spinal column, abdomen and buttocks, some of which were in “varying stages of healing,” indicating past abuse. Police say 31-year-old Robert Leroy Wilson, the boyfriend of the child's mother, was watching the 9-year-old at the time of the incident along with her brother. The mother said Wilson apologized for hitting the boy in the stomach for stealing a piece of birthday cake. The woman's brother told police that Wilson was upset with the boy for stealing the cake and handcuffed the 9-year-old in his bedroom in order to teach him not to steal. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) 19-year-old charged with assaulting 78-year-old (White) homeless man in the face with brick  GASTON COUNTY, NC - A 19-year-old was arrested for assaulting a homeless man in Gastonia last week, police say. Donald Ray Wallace Jr. is accused of hitting 78-year-old Fletcher Harold Campbell in the face with a brick after pushing him down last Monday. Wallace is charged with attempted first-degree murder. Campbell was assaulted around 11:15 p.m. near West Garrison Boulevard. He was taken to CaroMont Regional Medical center and later transferred to Carolinas Medical Center for facial surgery. UPDATE: Coroner IDs (White) Teen Fatally Shot (by Black) While Riding his Bike in Erie  Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook has identified the teenager shot and killed while riding his bike in Erie Saturday afternoon. Cook identified the victim as 18-year-old Jacob Pushinsky, of Erie. Pushinsky and his friends were riding their bikes in the 200 block of East Eighth Street around 3 p.m. Saturday, when Pushinsky was shot in the upper left torso. He was rushed to UPMC Hamot where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to police. Neighbors who live near the crime scene said they heard Pushinsky cry out for help when he was shot. Carolynn Baumgartner said Pushinsky's friends stayed by his side, as he lay bleeding in the middle of the street. "When he first got hit, he was yelling, 'someone help me, someone help me," she said. "And the young boys who had to watch in horror as their friend who they had been having a good time with that day, taken from them so cruelly and viciously, it's just sad." A Facebook page created in Pushinsky's honor said he was a member of East High School's JROTC program who dreamed of becoming a captain with the U.S. Marines, a dream cut short by gun violence. "There's so many young people that just graduated high school and they have their lives just starting for them," said Baumgartner. "And to have it wiped out in one single second, I mean, bang his life is over. And that is just so sad." Police describe the suspect as a black male who was wearing a black shirt and tan shorts at the time of the murder. (White) Woman allegedly attacked by group (of racist black savages) near U of C campus with kids in car  CHICAGO - Her car damaged, her nerves shaken, the victim of an alleged group attack near the University of Chicago campus spoke. Police say two people were arrested and charged, but Susan Pedersen says several dozen people were involved in the attack that left her two children covered in broken glass. They were in the back seat of the vehicle, which was left dented with the rear glass shattered. "I'm very scared, very anxious, nervous. Just fearful," she said. Broken glass littered the pavement at 60th and King Drive across from Washington Park, where the attack took place around 9 p.m. Thursday night. Pedersen says she had just dropped off a friend at the University of Chicago when she stopped at a red light and found her car surrounded by several dozen young people. "They were walking around both sides of the vehicle - in the front, in the back - and as they were walking across, they were hitting my car, using racial slurs and telling me that I didn't belong in their neighborhood because I was white," Pedersen said. The group, all African-American, she says, kicked the vehicle and shook it violently. Her children were screaming from the back of the vehicle. Pedersen said one person was on a bicycle, which the group used it as a battering ram to shatter the back window. The broken glass left cuts on her 3-year-old son, Benjamin. (Black) "Heartless Felon" gangster serving life term gets three more years for threatening (White) judge   CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Heartless Felons gang member already serving life in prison plus 100 years was given an additional three years Monday for threatening Cuyahoga Common Pleas Judge Michael Astrab. William Hammons, who turned 24 on Monday, pleaded guilty to retaliation and three counts of aggravated menacing. Visiting judge Dale Crawford gave Hammons the maximum sentence, to be served consecutive with his previous sentence. Astrab said Hammons sent a letter to his office that was "very vulgar and very violent" in tone and directed at his entire family. Police: (white) Mom was assaulted (by her black boyfriend and 'baby-daddy') before leaving baby by road  Five days after a Curtis Bay woman made national news when she allegedly abandoned her baby on a Pasadena roadside, prosecutors revealed her boyfriend has been charged with assaulting her. Anne Arundel County police charged Cordell Lee Hall, 28, also of Curtis Bay, Sunday with assaulting Sandra McClary. McClary told police Hall, who she calls her boyfriend and the father of the baby, pushed her in the chest and head after she got lost while driving on July 4. After the argument, she said she drove off without Hall, 28, and 6-week-old Angelique Patricia Morgan. The baby was found abandoned about an hour by passers-by who rescued her and called the police. McClary's mother Belinda DeBerry said outside a bail review that her daughter feared for her life when she was in the car with Hall. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Man charged in shooting death of (White) woman found in car   WYANDOTTE COUNTY, KS - A man has been charged in the shooting death of a 22-year-old woman whose body was found in a car June 30. Wyandotte County court records show that Antione Fielder, 27, was charged with first-degree murder, intentional and premeditated. He was booked into the Wyandotte County Detention Center on Wednesday. Kelsey K. Ewonus, 22, of Overland Park was found shot to death in her car at Francis and Bristow streets.   Carlos Edward Kennedy, who was sentenced to death for raping and then beating a 69-year-old grandmother to death with a claw hammer in June 2010, has new life. Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich said she was waiting to hear if the Alabama Attorney General's office planned to appeal the ruling to the Alabama Supreme Court. If not, her office would retry the case in circuit court and Kennedy, who remains in custody, would represent himself, according to the ruling. "It was a horrific, horrific crime and he deserves the death penalty and we will stop at nothing to make sure he gets it," Rich said. - (Black-on-white) |

4 (predator blacks) charged with murder of White man found in parking lot  WADESBORO — Police on Friday identified a man whose body was found early this week and named four suspects arrested on murder charges in his killing. Wadesboro police arrested Quentin Cornelius Teal, 22, of Wadesboro; Demetrian Alphonso Teal, 19, also of Wadesboro; James Edward Henderson Jr., 19, of Cheraw, South Carolina; and Reginald Lamont Jenkins II, 19, of Morven, on Friday. The WPD and the State Bureau of Investigation identified the suspects’ motive as robbery. The men were charged with the felony first-degree murder of Phillip Lee Burgess, whose body was found in the parking lot of the Hair Shack, located on U.S. 74 East, just after midnight on Monday. Bail for (black) double murder suspect set at $2.1M despite attorney's 'no evidence' claim   SEATTLE, Wash. — The lawyer for a man suspected of killing two women – including his grandmother - told a judge there’s no evidence linking his client to the crimes, so he should be let out of jail. Marcus Naylor, of Northwest Defenders, told King County Superior Court Judge Mark Chow in a downtown Seattle jail courtroom Thursday that he disagreed with probable cause arguments that his client, Zachary Damien Craven, had anything to do with the murders of two women earlier this week. Craven was arrested early Wednesday and is suspected of shooting 59-year old Angelika Hayden in Skyway and 21-year old Meagan Smith in Renton. Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Aubony Burns argued for a high bail, claiming a piggy bank connects Craven to Smith’s death. Burns said the fact Craven is Hayden’s grandson and has threatened to kill her before connects him to her death. Crime Stoppers: (Black) Man shoots (White female) clerk for no apparent reason CHARLOTTE, NC - There are serious concerns at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) after a man shot a female hotel clerk for no apparent reason. Police are calling it a random act of violence, but it may be more than that. "This thing has really got the public disturbed," said CMPD Officer Tori Roddey. There is surveillance video from the Drury Inn on 415 West W.T. Harris Boulevard which shows a thin young man, dressed in camouflage shorts and matching Chicago Bulls hat with a bright red shirt, walking into the hotel office. Immediately, he pulled out a handgun and shot the hotel clerk in the chest. "Thank God it went straight through her shoulder area," Officer Roddey said. "A few inches down and she could have been in trouble." After shooting her, the gunman ran out of the hotel, and never tried to rob the place. So why did he walk in and shoot her? Was there some sort of connection between the two? "From what we've gathered so far, there's no connection," Roddey said. Oddly, this same man was seen actually robbing the Rodeway Inn on West Sugar Creek just 40 minutes earlier. He pulled his gun, but didn't use it. (Black) Lansing man, 64, charged in stabbing death of (white) woman  LANSING – A 64-year-old Lansing man has been charged in connection with the stabbing death of a woman in a south Lansing apartment on Sunday. Kenneth Dale Clark was arraigned on a murder charge in 54A District Court and is being held without bond in the Ingham County Jail. He is accused of stabbing Regina Christensen, 53, at Cedar Place Apartments on West Jolly Road, Lansing police Capt. Daryl Green said. She was dead when police arrived about 6:15 p.m., he said. Green would not say how many times Christensen was stabbed or describe her injuries. Police recovered a knife at the scene, he said. Clark was arrested at the scene on Sunday. He and Christensen knew each other, although the nature of their relationship was unclear, Green said. - (Black-on-white) |

Two (black) men arrested for fatal shooting of man walking to work    RICHLAND COUNTY, SC Two men were charged Tuesday in the shooting death of 26-year-old Rickey Daniel Baker as he walked to the bus on the way to work last Thursday. Maurice Jaquwan Miller, 18, and Shykiem Universal Smith, 18, were taken into custody Tuesday, one day after Richland County authorities released surveillance video footage of a gold 2005 or 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The occupants of the vehicle were believed to have information regarding the shooting, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said. Baker was shot and killed in an armed robbery Thursday morning as he walked to the bus stop on the way to work, Lott said. - (Black-on-white) |

Update: (Black) Memphis man charged in 2008 beating, sexual assault of (White) 79-year-old Knoxville woman - Jan 22, 2015  KNOXVILLE – A Shelby County man already serving time on three first degree murder and three aggravated rape charges has been charged in the 2008 beating and sexual assault of a 79-year-old Knoxville woman. Michael Mullins, 53, was recently arrested and pleaded guilty to the Shelby County incidents which occurred in 1999, 2011 and 2012. He is currently serving a prison sentence of life without parole. Police say he was responsible for brutally beating and sexually assaulting Jessie Maples, 79. A group playing frisbee found Maples lying near some bushes in East Knoxville’s Morningside Park on April 18, 2008. Maples spent several days in the hospital and was never able to return home. She died in 2012 in an area nursing home. |
Manslaughter charge upgraded to murder for black man accused of beating his white girlfriend to death  PANAMA CITY — Charges have been upgraded to second-degree murder for a local man accused of beating his girlfriend to death, according to court records. Justin L. Davis, 28, faced a charge of manslaughter in connection with the August 2014 death of his live-in girlfriend, 31-year-old Jessica Brandy Huey. After a state hospital deemed him competent to stand trial, however, prosecutors filed new charges of second-degree murder against Davis, arguing he was of a “depraved mind” at the time of Huey’s death, court records indicated. According to amended information prosecutors filed in June, Davis allegedly killed Huey on Aug. 19 by striking her on the face and head. Officials reported those blows broke Huey’s neck, but Davis did not call for medical attention. The series of events “exhibited a depraved mind without regard for human life,” although the alleged actions were not premeditated, the prosecution argued. - (Black-on-white) |

App helps police arrest (black) Hermitage robbery suspect  NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The “Find My iPhone” application helped police catch a robbery suspect in Hermitage. According to an affidavit, David Smith was arrested early Monday morning after he allegedly stole a woman’s purse from her shopping cart from a Kroger shopping center. Melanie Mundy was loading groceries into her car on Sunday when a black Chevrolet Yukon pulled by as someone inside the vehicle grabbed her purse. The 66-year-old woman and two time cancer survivor realized what was happening and also reached for it, holding on and being dragged, the report stated. Mundy fell down, breaking her arm. She also sustained bruises and scrapes all over her body and may have to undergo surgery for her broken arm. “The one thing I guess probably fooled him is I did not have a single dollar in my purse. (White) Woman Fatally Shot (by Black man) While Walking With Boyfriend In Hollywood HOLLYWOOD — Police Monday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a woman in Hollywood. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were sent shortly after midnight to the 6700 block of Sunset Boulevard for reports of a shooting victim. Upon their arrival, police located a woman in her early 30s lying on a sidewalk suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to her head. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name is Carrie Melvin. Her age was not immediately known. Investigators say no words were exchanged during the attack, which they do not believe was random. “The suspect approached from behind and shot her. She collapsed and died at the scene,” Skaggs said, adding that police have spoken to the victim’s boyfriend. “He stayed to help her and got help and dealt with it there instead of going after the bad guy,” he said. - (Black-on-white) |

Police identify 2nd suspect in Ontario cellphone death   Police in Ontario are seeking a second suspect in the death of a young man who was killed after tracked down a missing cellphone. London Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for Mohamed Ibrahim Sail, 24, of Calgary, on charges of second-degree murder in connection with the death of 18-year-old Jeremy Ryan Cook. Police said Sail is dangerous and should not be approached. Instead, they ask anyone who may have seen Sail to contact police or Crime Stoppers. Another murder suspect, Muhab Sultanaly Sultan, 23, was found dead in Ottawa's Rideau River, just over a week ago. London Police said they have identified a third individual seen leaving the area where the homicide occurred on June 14, but noted that individual has not cooperated with police. The white man was beaten unconscious following a hip hop and electronica Fourth of July concert. The video shows a mostly Black crowd gathered around the white male victim laid out on the sidewalk. A few are trying to help the unconscious man while others squeal in awe at the blood covering his head. Many onlookers are laughing. A report by a police officer posted online said that police had to rescue the man from an attacking mob of about forty Black people. Black Sports: Video shows punch that led to QB De'Andre Johnson's arrest  The State Attorney's Office released surveillance video today of Florida State University quarterback De'Andre Johnson punching a woman at a bar last month. State Attorney Willie Meggs said he decided to charge Johnson, 19, with misdemeanor battery after viewing the footage from the West Tennessee Street bar Yiannis on June 24. Droopy-eyed black charged with murder that left his white partner-in-crime dead   MUSKEGON, Mich. — A man has been charged with murder in connection to the Muskegon Heights shooting last week that left one woman dead, though he is not accused of actually shooting and killing her her. Ishmail Autman was charged Monday with open murder and a weapons charge in connection to the death of Peggy Sue Everett, according to Muskegon County Sheriff Dean Roesler. Investigators say Autman and Everett were in Muskegon Heights on June 30 to “commit a crime” when Everett was shot in the head as they drove along 8th Street near Broadway Avenue. Everett, a 36-year-old mother of four from Muskegon, was rushed to the hospital and died the next day. Authorities don’t think Autman shot Everett, but because his actions contributed to her death, he is being charged with murder. Black Man wanted for fatal Metro stabbing (of gay advocate)  WASHINGTON -- Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted for fatally stabbing a person on a Metro train Saturday afternoon. According to police, Jasper Spires is wanted on charges of first degree murder while armed for stabbing 24-year-old Kevin Joseph Sutherland on a Red Line train approaching the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro Station. Police say the stabbing happened at around 12:50 p.m. The NoMa station was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident. (Black) Suspect in Niagara Falls beating (of white ex-girlfriend) arrested   NIAGARA FALLS – The man shown viciously beating a young woman in a cellphone video was taken into custody early Thursday without incident, city police said. D’Shalen Walls, 18, was tracked down at a motel on Niagara Falls Boulevard at about 8 a.m., police said. He was there with his girlfriend, Barbara Schreiner, 23, who was charged with hindering prosecution. Walls was charged with a felony count of robbery and misdemeanor counts of assault and menacing, in connection with Monday’s attack on a 16-year-old girl in an alley behind 925 Pine Ave. “They apparently had some sort of relationship at some point,” said Lt. John S. Conti of the Criminal Investigation Division. “She was punched a number of times, and her phone was taken by the suspect,” Conti said. Walls was charged with a felony count of rape, as well as endangering the welfare of a child, after having sex with a girl younger than 15. (White) Wife: Former CNN reporter shoots, kills armed (black) robber at Westside motel   A former CNN investigative reporter shot and killed an armed robber in a motel on Albuquerque's Westside late Tuesday, according to his wife. Police responded to the Motel 6 at Iliff Road NW off Coors around 11:30 p.m. APD said they found a man dead in the parking lot with at least one gunshot wound. Lynne Russell, also a former CNN anchor, told KOB she and her husband, Chuck de Caro, decided to stop at the motel for the night because they were tired after a long day of traveling and had their dog with them. When she went out to the car to get something and returned to the room, she said an armed man was at the door with a handgun. "He pushed me into the room and that's when my husband came out of the shower and saw what was happening," she said. "We tried to calm him, confuse him and do everything we could do to just come out of it in one piece." When it became clear to Russell that the man may shoot them, she told him they would look in her purse for something. Russell said she and her husband have concealed carry licenses, and she had a gun inside her purse. "He wound up taking my husband's briefcase, and instead of just taking it and leaving, he took it and went over and started firing at my husband. And Chuck fired back and it was a shootout." Russell said the man was killed during the exchange. De Caro was struck by three rounds, but he was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. "I am very, very proud of my husband. (White) WAFF reporter foils attempted robbery by (black) convicted sex offender  HUNTSVILLE, AL - A reporter for WAFF stopped a robbery by a convicted sex offender at the Kroger on Oakwood Avenue Thursday night. Huntsville police said just after midnight, Misty Suwarow, a Kroger manager, was walking to her car at the Kroger in the 2100 block of Oakwood Avenue when a man approached her and asked for money. When she refused to give him any money, the man opened the door and jumped on top of her. Police said Suwarow yelled at him to get out of her car and stop. He then refused and tried to push her out of the car. Police said a bystander, WAFF reporter Vincent Crivelli, witnessed this incident and ran over to Suwarow's car. Authorities said Crivelli grabbed the offender, pulled him out of the car, and held him on the ground until police arrived. (Black) Teen in custody after selfies show up on stolen iPhone owner’s iCloud account  Virginia Beach, Va. – A 16-year-old boy is now in custody and is expected to be charged with the theft of an iPhone stolen from a car in a Virginia Beach neighborhood last month. The owner of the iPhone, Joe Harris, says after the phone was stolen, nearly 40 pictures and three videos — including selfies, started popping up on his iCloud account. (Black Muslim) Man Indicted On Terrorism Charges In Murder Of (White) College Student In West Orange  NEWARK, N.J. — A Seattle man was indicted on terrorism and murder charges Thursday in a shooting that killed a college student in West Orange, New Jersey last year. Ali Muhammad Brown, 30, was indicted by a grand jury on two counts of terrorism, one count of murder and other charges in the June 25, 2014 shooting that killed Brendan Tevlin, 19, of Livingston, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s office. It was the first murder case in New Jersey in which a defendant was charged with terrorism under state law, prosecutors said. Brown had allegedly said he was motivated by a “bloody crusade” to punish the U.S. government for its foreign policies. Tevlin was shot and killed as he stopped at a traffic light on his way home. Brown then drove Tevlin’s vehicle to an apartment complex where he stole undisclosed items from the victim. Brown described himself to detectives after his New Jersey arrest as a strict Muslim who had become angry with what he described as the U.S. government’s role in Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan. Two alleged accomplices, Eric Williams, 19, and Jeremy Villagran, 20 — both West Orange – had also been charged in Tevlin’s murder. Brown had earlier been charged with aggravated murder in the June 1 shooting deaths of two young men in Seattle, Ahmed Said and Dwone Anderson-Young, and in the April 27 shooting of 30-year-old Leroy Henderson in Skyway, south of Seattle. - (Black-on-white) |

Charges dropped against (black) suspect in (White woman's) murder case because a key witness died  FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. —According to the prosecutor's office in Washington County the charges were dropped against Rico Cohn. Investigators said a key witness died, and there was not enough evidence to try Cohn. Cohn was accused of strangling a Fayetteville woman in 2006. Nina Ingram was found dead at her apartment in Fayetteville. Investigators said Ingram didn't answer her phone that morning, so her brother went to check on her, and when she didn't answer the door, he crawled in through a window and found her body. Over six years, no leads in the case had developed. A detective was specifically assigned to review the case and he re-examined evidence, re-interviewed witnesses and searched for new leads, said Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor. Police arrested Rico Cohn, of Springdale, on a capital murder charge after the case was reopened in April 2012. - (Black-on-white) |

Police: (Black) Persons of Interest Took Selfies with (White) Theft Victim's Phone   UPPER DARBY, Pa. - Upper Darby police say they were pretty lucky when two persons of interest in a stolen car case allegedly sent selfies that ended up on the victim's cloud whose car had just been stolen. A 19-year-old delivery driver for Landsdowne's Best Quality Pizza says he was a target Sunday around midnight. He was making his last delivery of the night. "I walked up to make the delivery, came back, and my car wasn't there," he said. He says he wasn't gone even 90 seconds before his black Honda-- that he admits he left running-- was stolen. Inside the car: 500 dollars cash from the nights' receipts and his Motorola smartphone. Police located the stolen car a short time later, but what happens next even surprised Upper Darby's top cop. "The pictures are great, so they really took nice pictures of themselves," said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood. Police say the pictures are of two young men--holding a sawed off shotgun. What they didn't know is that the photos had been automatically uploaded the victim's Google photo account, which was evidence delivered right to his new smartphone. - (Black-on-white) |
(Black) Person of interest named in (white) woman's shooting death in Titusville MIMS, Fla. — Titusville police executed a search warrant Thursday at a home in Mims in connection with a death investigation from Titusville. Investigators arrived at the home on Marigold Avenue Thursday afternoon. Titusville police said Quinton Woodruff is a person of interest in the death investigation of Brandee Kelley, 24. Kelley was shot late Tuesday night in Titusville and later died at Parrish Medical Center. Witnesses said the gunman tapped on the glass door, and when Kelley peeked through, the gunman open fire. “She was just lying on the floor, so I went to check her pulse, and I realized she had a wound to the heart,” Kelley’s friend, Dawson Paine, said. Black man arrested - kidnaps and terrorizes his white EX-girlfriend MARION, Ind. -- On Thursday, the Marion Police Department received a call in reference to shots fired in the area of 2100 N. Fairfield Drive. According to witnesses, a black male was seen pulling a white female around by her hair and they were seen leaving in a silver Lexus, which he forced her to drive. The suspect was also in possession of an SKS style rifle. Officers located a shell casing consistent with this rifle in the roadway where witnesses had seen him fire the rifle. The victim was identified as Angela Norton (35), and the suspect is Mitchell Carroll (32). They arrived at her mothers residence. Carroll reportedly fired a couple more rounds then forced Norton back in the car again. GCSD was able to track their route and Madison County SD stopped the car in Madison County a short time later. All parties were found unharmed. Both subjects were transported back to the Marion Police Department. Norton gave a statement on Carroll and he was placed into the Grant County Jail. Carroll was charged with 11 criminal charges: kidnapping while hijacking a vehicle, criminal confinement while hijacking a vehicle, intimidation with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, battery with a deadly weapon, theft, robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, intimidation with a deadly weapon, auto theft, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, and pointing a loaded firearm. - (Black-on-white) |

Police arrest (black) man after (White) Muncie man’s body found in Indianapolis  INDIANAPOLIS – A man has been charged with killing a Muncie man who was reported missing last year. The family of 23-year-old Jeremy Myles Johnson reported him missing in October 2014. His decomposed body was found on June 12 in the 4500 block of North Dearborn Street in Indianapolis. According to Indianapolis Metropolitan police, Martize Kirkland, 27, was identified as a person of interest. On June 26, IMPD’s Gang Unit took Kirkland in for questioning. They arrested him on a preliminary charge of murder. Wednesday, prosecutors filed formal charges against him, including murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, auto theft, and being a felon in possession of a handgun. He was taken to the Marion County Jail. Kirkland was arrested in April after another Muncie man accused Kirkland of robbing him at knifepoint. In that case, investigators found cocaine, heroin and marijuana in his possession. Charges of armed robbery, intimidation, possession of cocaine and possession of a handgun by a felon are pending in Delaware County. - (Black-on-white) |
Black ex-boyfriend arrested for 2001 murder of white woman at apartment   PHOENIX - Phoenix police have made an arrest in a murder case that dates back nearly 14 years. Dawn Tucker-Subia, 32, was found dead in her Ahwatukee apartment back in 2001 when her estranged husband went to drop off their kids. Police arrested 44-year-old Adrian Harvey for murder and burglary. Police said he was interviewed in the case back in 2001, but was released, because there was not enough evidence to charge him. Two (black) teenagers arrested, one (black) sought in Fayetteville homicide (of White alleged drug dealer)    FAYETTEVILLE -- Authorities in Fayetteville have arrested two teenagers, and are searching for a third, in connection with a fatal shooting late Monday night. It happened around 11:48 p.m. when police officers were called to the 2300 block of Painters Mill Drive off Bingham Drive. When they arrived, they found 18-year-old Donald Christian McIntosh inside a vehicle that was parked behind a new retail building that houses a convenience store, nail salon, barber and sandwich shops. Authorities said they learned McIntosh had gone to the location to sell narcotics, when he was robbed and then shot during the transaction. Officers spotted the suspects' vehicle a few miles from the where the shooting happened and took 18-year-old Malina Deneice Woods and 19-year-old Victoria Antoinette Wilson into custody. Both have been charged with first-degree murder, sell and deliver marijuana, and conspiracy to sell and deliver marijuana. They are currently being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center. Authorities are still looking for 17-year-old Gregory Anthony Wilson. He is wanted for first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, sell and deliver marijuana, and conspiracy to sell and deliver marijuana. - (Black-on-white) |

Ghost hunters discover body of missing (White) woman at haunted hospital - two blacks in custody  VICKSBURG, Miss. - A team of ghost hunters found the body of a missing woman on Sunday as they explored the old Kuhn Memorial State Hospital in Vicksburg, a site known to be one of Mississippi's most haunted. Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong said Sharon Wilson, 69, appeared to have trauma to her head. Witnesses said her body was found outside Kuhn Hospital, but blood trails indicated she had been inside. Two men, Akeem McCloud, 20, and Rafael McCloud, 33, have been taken into custody, but Armstrong said they have not been charged yet. (They were driving a car stolen from the victim.) It appears at one point Wilson was inside the ('ghost') hospital and was taken outside. "You could tell where they had dragged someone down from the second floor in the middle of the building, to a grassy area on the left side of the hospital," he said. "On the steps, that's where most of the blood was, and it looked like they dragged her all the way to the grassy area." (White) Man who portrayed FSU's Chief Osceola fatally stabbed (by black) in gumbo spices fight  PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. - A man who once portrayed Chief Osceola while attending Florida State University was fatally stabbed last week in a fight about gumbo spices. Caleb Halley died from his injuries Thursday. Panama City Beach police said Halley's co-worker, Orlando Thompson, 26, was arrested in connection with the stabbing. Thompson and Halley were working at Buddy's Seafood Market when they got into an argument "about the amount of spice to put into the restaurant's gumbo." The argument "quickly escalated" when Thompson armed himself with a wooden board and Halley with a small pocket knife. The initial altercation ended after a "quick skirmish" in which Thompson retreated, but Thompson later returned with a knife and was seen on surveillance video "swinging and thrusting the knife at Halley." - (Black-on-white) |

(White) Vermont Firearms Instructor Shot; (Black) Woman Denies Charges  A woman has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder after a shooting that critically injured a firearms instructor in Westford, Vermont. Thirty-one-year-old Veronica Lewis of Worcester was arraigned Tuesday. She's being held without bail. Police say 48-year-old Darryl Montague of Westford was found Monday lying at the edge of the road near his home, which is near his firearms business. It was initially thought that he may have been struck by a vehicle. Responders discovered he was suffering from the gunshot wounds and was hospitalized in critical condition. Police say he was shot in the torso and jaw. Authorities say Lewis was at Montague's home on Monday for a firearms lesson. - (Black-on-white) |

A black ex-con and a white female killed (by black male) in Palestine Texas shooting  On June 20, 2015 at approximately 5:40 a.m. officers from the Palestine Police Department were dispatched to a single family residence in the 900 block of Conway Street in reference to shots being fired inside a the residence. Police arrived and found two people, one male and one female, with gunshot wounds inside the residence. Medical assistance was called and two ambulances were dispatched to the scene. The EMS units on scene determined that the male subject was deceased when they arrived. The female subject was treated at the scene and then transported to the local hospital. The female later died at the Palestine Regional Medical Center. The victims were later identified as 39 year old Timothy Laban Owens of Palestine and 25 year old Ashley Quinn of Palestine. The deceased will be transported to Tyler for autopsy. Police also located at 17 year old male and determined that he was at the residence when the shooting took place. The 17 year old is a relative of Timothy Owens and is considered to be a witness only at this time. - (Black-on-white) |
