Black Men Found Guilty of Killing White Mother Of Four    Columbia, SC - A Columbia jury has convicted two men of killing a mother of four last year at the place where she worked. The jury found Trenton Barnes and Lorenzo Young guilty of murder, kidnapping, second-degree burglary, and attempted armed robbery in the death of Kelly Hunnewell. The jury deliberated for just under three hours. Young was then sentenced to life in prison without parole on the murder charge. He also got 15 years for the burglary charge and 20 years for attempted robbery. Barnes will be sentenced next Tuesday. Barnes and Young were accused of breaking into the bakery where Kelly Hunnewell was working on July 1st, 2013 in an attempted robbery. Mother of White 2002 murder victim hopes accused black killer is brought to justice  INDIANAPOLIS - The mother of a 2002 murder victim hopes 15-year-old Dominique Allen's family gets justice now that an arrest has been made in the case. William Gholston Sr. was found not guilty by a jury in the murder of Sandra Clark-Hobbs more than a decade ago. Now, he's in police custody, facing a murder charge in Allen's death. A photo, a small newspaper clipping and a few flyers are all Mary Lou Clark has left of her devoted daughter. "She was half of me and it's hard...it's hard when she is not here," Clark said. It's been 12 years since the 39-year-old Clark-Hobbs was brutally murdered on the city's south side. "Every bone in her face was broke. They tied a shoestring around her throat and it almost cut her head off," Clark said. For 12 years, Mary has asked why. Black Suspect in ND homicide of White man arrested in Philadelphia  MINOT, N.D. — A man accused in the September slaying of a man in Minot has been arrested in Philadelphia after a nine-week manhunt. Minot police say the U.S. Marshals Service took 37-year-old Anthony Campbell into custody. He was being held in Philadelphia pending his extradition back to North Dakota. Campbell was wanted on a warrant for murder and an unrelated warrant for burglary. The murder charge carries a maximum punishment of life in prison without parole. Authorities have described Campbell as an acquaintance of 25-year-old Shannon Brunelle, who was found dead in a garage at an apartment building on Sept. 15. - (Black-on-white) |

Aurora police arrest black suspect, Jahvell Forrest, in (White) Officer Ryan Burns' shooting   AURORA, Colo. - The Aurora Police Department said officers arrested 20-year-old Jahvell Daquan Forrest in the shooting of a patrol officer during a traffic stop last week. Forrest was taken into custody Tuesday and made his first court appearance Wednesday. Jones said the arrest was made based on "down-and-dirty police work." "We are absolutely certain we have the gunman," Jones said. The wounded officer, Ryan Burns, is an 11-year veteran of the department. Jurors: (Black) ‘Riverside Man Should Be Put To Death For Murdering, Torching (his white) Ex In Front Of Her 6 Children’  RIVERSIDE — Jurors decided the fate of a 41-year-old man Friday who murdered and lit his former girlfriend on fire in front of her children. Jurors decided Tyrone Harts, of Riverside, will be sentenced to death early next year At the time of the murder, the children ranged in ages from six to 15-years-old. On Feb. 21, 2011, Harts shot his former girlfriend, Brandi Morales, inside of her home that she shared with her six children. Around 12:30 a.m., Morales’ two oldest children were woken up by their mother’s screams coming from the upstairs master bedroom. Police said the oldest boy grabbed a knife from the kitchen on his way to see what was wrong. Once inside the room, the boy saw his mother being held down and Harts fired a handgun in his direction. The shots woke up the four younger children, who saw their mother being lit on fire after checking to see what caused the noise. In an attempt to save her, the children filled cups with water to try and put out the fire. When officers arrived to the scene, Morales was pronounced dead. - (Black-on-white) |

Black man convicted of killing (White) Baldwin Co. deputy scheduled to die  A man convicted of murdering a Baldwin County Sheriff's deputy nearly 20 years ago is scheduled to be executed on Dec. 9. Robert Wayne Holsey is scheduled to be executed at 7 p.m. on Dec. 9. Hosley was convicted of murdering Deputy Will Robinson Dec. 17, 1995. Holsey was charged and convicted of malice murder, felony murder and armed robbery, after he robbed a Milledgeville convenience store with a gun, and later shot and killed Robinson. The deputy had stopped Holsey's car, because it matched the denoscription provided by the store clerk. When Robinson walked up to the car, Holsey fired his gun, shooting the deputy in the head and killing him. Holsey was convicted by a jury in February 1997. - (Black-on-white) |

Former girlfriend also claimed May said his home and car were being bugged. Black Rochester man sentenced to life without parole for killing White mother, daughter in Sodus    A Rochester man, found guilty of killing a mother and daughter who were pet-sitting for a neighbor, will spend the rest of his life in prison. The judge sentenced Dante Taylor to the maximum, life without parole, for the murders of Terri Moulton and her daughter Stacey Moulton. The two women were found dead in a home in Sodus last year. They had gone to the house to check on a friend's cat. Prosecutors say they walked in on Taylor burglarizing the home. Taylor was on parole at the time. The courtroom was filled with family and close friends who came to see justice done. Chuck Moulton, the husband and father of the victims, was in the front row. He wrote a statement that was read in court in which he said he was a casualty in this horrific tragedy and saying he could write a book expressing the life he feels. In asking for the maximum sentence, District Attorney Rick Healy said Taylor is lucky the state doesn't have the death penalty. “He took two innocent lives in this case. He gets life without parole. Black arrested in murder of White 75-year-old Douglasville grandmother  DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. – The man arrested in the death of a 75-year-old woman who died after being bound and gagged will have his first court appearance Wednesday. Odes Dupree, 53, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony murder in the death of Florene Duke, according to Douglasville Police Chief Chris Womack. He will appear in Douglas County Superior Court at 1:30 p.m. Duke was found dead on Nov. 10 in her Douglasville apartment. She was face down on a bed with her hands and feet tied behind her back, and something was stuffed in her mouth. An autopsy showed that she died of asphyxiation. - (Black-on-white) |

94-year-old White man robbed at supermarket by cowardly black  LEESBURG, Fla. - Police are hoping surveillance video will help catch the man who robbed a 94-year-old man outside a Leesburg Publix. Police say the suspect was standing behind Donald Harshbarger, 94, in the checkout line at a Leesburg Publix. As Harshbarger left the store, video shows the suspect following him outside to the parking lot. Police then say the suspect then approached the World War II veteran and asked for change for a $50. Harshbarger says when he took out his wallet, the man snatched it. Several hours later, police found his wallet in the trash with $200 missing. - (Black-on-white) |

Black Topeka man pleads not guilty to murder of white alleged marijuana dealer in Lawrence shooting death   LAWRENCE — A Topeka man pleaded not guilty to a homicide at a Lawrence apartment complex in March. Archie Lamont Robinson, 29, entered the plea Thursday to first-degree murder and aggravated battery in the death of Patrick Roberts, 39, of Lawrence. The Lawrence Journal-World reports Robinson’s co-defendant, Dustin Walker, pleaded not guilty in June to the same charges. Prosecutors say Robinson and Walker kicked in the door to Roberts’ duplex and shot him in the abdomen. At a preliminary hearing in October, two witnesses couldn’t identify Robinson. Robinson and Walker remain in the Douglas County Jail on $1 million bond each. Their trials are scheduled for February. - (Black-on-white) |

Charges: Ebony Steward assaulted woman because she's white 'in a black neighborhood' ST. PAUL, Minn. - Warning: This story contains explicit language Ebony Steward, 32, faces two felony charges for allegedly punching two women for no good reason in St. Paul on November 14. Around 2 p.m. that day, officers received a call from a woman who reported that Steward punched her in the left eye after she exited TJ's Nail Salon. . The victim "stated that she had never seen the defendant before and had no idea why she assaulted her." Officers observed that [the victim's] left eye had some swelling and bruising." Officers found Steward still at the scene. Asked why she punched the woman, she said she doesn't know her, but can't stand it when "bitches" are in her way. She added that she doesn't like light-skinned people, and police noted that the victim is a light-skinned black woman. Officers requested that Steward to leave the scene, but didn't arrest her. A short time later, officers received another call about a fight just down University Avenue. When they arrived, they saw a woman later identified as Steward pull a woman to the ground in a parking lot and start punching her. Officers spoke to the victim, who said she didn't know the assailant. She said she was exiting JJ's Fish and Chicken when she was assaulted. This time, officers placed Steward under arrest. On the way to the Ramsey County Law Enforcement Center, she told authorities she assaulted the woman because she's a "white girl in the hood." "Get that white bitch out of my yard, out of the hood," Steward said she hates white people. Steward "said that she was trying to help the white girl because she would probably come across someone who knew how to punch better or someone who might kill her." 73-year-old White woman beaten inside her flower shop store by black  FOREST PARK, Ga. -- Police are looking for the suspect accused of severely beating a 73-year-old woman inside her Forest Park flower shop. A customer found 73-year-old Pat White lying on a sofa inside Red N Gold Florist Saturday morning. White told police she was approached by the suspect as she opened her store for the day. She said the man threatened her with a knife, demanding money from the register. She gave him all the cash inside -- about $40. When the victim told him there was no more money, the suspect hit her in the face and ran. Family members said White suffered irreparable damage to her left eye socket. She is scheduled to meet with a facial reconstruction expert to try to save the vision in her eye. Forest Park police have released a composite sketch of the suspect, who the victim described as a slender black man in his early 20's. One off-duty (White) Akron police officer killed, second wounded in bar shooting by black  AKRON, Ohio -- The first time Kenan Ivery walked into Papa Don's Pub late Saturday night, police said he was unruly. When he came in a second time, he pulled out a gun and eventually shot five people, killing one off-duty Akron police officer, wounding another, and seriously injuring three customers, police said. Justin Winebrenner, 32, died after he was shot in the torso trying to escort Ivery from the bar about 2 a.m. Sunday, Akron police Chief James Nice said at an afternoon press conference. Ivery, 35, came into the Papa Don's and was being unruly. The bar's management asked Ivery to leave, and he did. But he returned a short time later and drew a gun. Frightened, the bar's customers looked to Winebrenner -- who was engaged to an employee there and therefore a familiar face -- for help. Winebrenner approached Ivery to "deal with him as a law enforcement officer." Ivery opened fire, hitting Winebrenner, the second off-duty Akron officer, and three customers. Ivery fled the bar on foot, and Akron police officers launched a manhunt for the 35 year old. Black man knifed the white mother of their mixed-race offspring to death  Santa Barbara, CA - Accused murderer Aubrey Wadford appeared in court Friday morning for his arraignment at the same time that authorities released the name of his alleged victim and additional details around the killing. Police say Wadford fatally stabbed 39-year-old Angela Laskey during a domestic dispute early Wednesday morning in a West Olivos Street apartment. Officers, responding to a disturbance call, discovered Laskey’s body inside and arrested Wadford at the scene. It’s not clear if the two, who were not married, both lived at the residence. Their 2-year-old daughter was present at the time of the killing but was unharmed, police said. Wadford used a deadly weapon — a knife — in the homicide. Laskey, originally from Dumfries, Scotland, had been abused by Wadford in the past. Laskey’s mother flew into Los Angeles last night and has been in touch with detectives and Child Welfare advocates to take custody of her granddaughter, police said. Laskey moved to the U.S. with her family when she was 16. Public Defender Jennifer Archer, who successfully lobbied the judge to deny media photographs of Wadford. In a chilling account, she detailed how she reported to police that she was sexually assaulted in 1998 by four men, three of them college football players. She said she was gang raped, sodomized, robbed, and then, re-victimized -- her word -- when a college football coach suspended two of the players for one game and was quoted as saying his players had made, "a bad choice." She reported the gang rape to police in 1998. She'd told investigators the men stood around, watching it happen and cheering the others on. At one point, she said she begged one of the men to make it stop. "I get sick of reading articles about how great a guy the coach is." That coach is Mike Riley. The team was Oregon State. Tracy's report to police and the ensuing investigation led newscasts, raised questions and divided public sentiment when it occurred 16 years ago. She has never before been identified as the victim and has never before talked publicly about it. Until now...Two Oregon State football players, defensive back Calvin Carlyle, then 18, and running back Jason Dandridge, then 20, were named as suspects in the report. Also identified as suspects were an 18-year-old Southern California high school football recruit named Michael Ainsworth and Nakia "Ken" Ware, a 23-year-old community college defensive back who was on probation for armed robbery in California. California Black Charged With Kidnapping In NH Girl’s Disappearance   HAMPTON, NH – A California man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a Seabrook, New Hampshire girl. On Thursday, 13-year-old Madison Wilson was located at the Best Western Hotel in Hampton. She had been missing since Monday and was reunited with her family shortly after she was discovered. A local cab company helped lead police to Wilson’s location. Police arrested 23-year-old Donte Hargrove of Sacramento, California and charged him with one count of kidnapping. He was arrested in Brentwood, NH without incident. The circumstances surrounding Wilson’s disappearance are currently being investigated by Hampton and Seabrook Detectives. - (Black-on-white) |

Black suspect arrested in Portland 1988 cold case murder of White woman  PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Police Bureau Cold Case Homicide Unit detectives arrested a 59-year-old man for the 1988 homicide of Renee Harvey in Portland. Detectives said Walter Wayne Howard was arrested in San Diego, California. Howard will be booked into the San Diego County Jail and will await extradition to Oregon. Authorities said the investigation began on Jan. 15, 1988, when Harvey, 25, was found dead in her residence. A friend of Harvey’s went to her residence because Harvey had not answered her phone. Upon arriving at the residence, she opened the door, called out for Harvey, and upon receiving no answer, entered the residence. Police said she found Harvey’s body in the residence and knew immediately that Harvey was dead and called the police. - (Black-on-white) |
Crazy black suspect (with African name) captured in St. Petersburg after scary home invasion - 'he needed a place to stay'  PINELLAS COUNTY, FL - St Petersburg Police officers who were responding to two other burglaries in progress say they followed the sound of screams early Wednesday morning and arrested Michael Odhiamba, age 32. He was attacking two middle-aged sisters during a home invasion of a third home. "It was terrifying," said Jackie Gamble who was sleeping when Odhiamba started breaking through a window in the front of her mother's house. Her mom wasn't home because she was hospitalized after surgery. Gamble said. She called 911, then went into action."That's when I hit him with the phone." Gamble tried to hold off Odhiamba with a table while her sister Lorena Noel went into combat mode. "She was slinging knives from the kitchen." Police say when they showed up minutes later Odhiamba had one of the knifes in his hand. They arrested him without further incident. The sisters say Odhiamba told officers God told him to break into their home. Odhiamba had just gotten out of jail after spending most of the year behind bars on a federal fraud charge related to a Wal Mart scam. Police arrest black teen accused of killing 17-year old white girl  RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. —Palm Beach County sheriff's deputies arrested Bryan Augustin late Wednesday morning. The 18-year-old is accused of killing his brother's girlfriend. Monday night, Riviera Beach police responded to a domestic disturbance call. They found Kayla Storey, 17, on the floor inside the home. She died of multiple stab wounds to her chest and neck. Augustin, who lived at the home, was developed as a suspect. Kayla's father, Robert Storey, lives at the same home. He learned that his daughter had been arguing with Augustin earlier in the day because he was going through her belongings. He said they argued again later that night. "It was over a gun that was found in the room that they were in watching TV and Kayla just does not want that type of a thing around her daughter," Robert Storey said. Robert Storey said his 12-year-old daughter was also home that night. He said she saw what happened, grabbed Kayla's child and ran out of the home. White cheerleader found dead in (black) former football player's apartment  FISHERS, Ind. - Police in Kentucky are scrutinizing a former Hamilton Southeastern High School football player after a University of Louisville cheerleader was found dead in his college apartment. The cheerleader died in July. New information from police this week revealed where the death occurred. Investigators have not arrested Cameron Polk in connection with that incident, but U of L recently kicked him off the football team for another run-in with police involving drugs. Investigators in Kentucky just released a final report on the death of U of L cheerleader Dani Cogswell. Those documents show Cogswell was found dead in Cameron Polk's Louisville apartment in July. Polk told police he and the cheerleader rented a movie and she fell asleep. He said he left her in the bedroom and when he returned in the morning, he found her lifeless and face down in his bed. He told his roommate to call 911. The coroner ruled Cogswell died from a drug overdose - a mix of heroin, anxiety medication and a prenoscription for treating ADD. Accused black-on-White rape, murder suspect appears in court (w/images)  Bond was set at $1 million this morning for the 53-year-old Clarkston man facing rape and murder charges in connection with the death of 69-year old Ina Clare Richardson. Bisir Bilal Muhammad appeared via video link in Asotin County Superior Court before Judge Ray Lutes, who determined there was probable cause to proceed with the case. Prosecutor Ben Nichols said the defendant was arrested on two rape charges in Arkansas in 1977 and was convicted of at least one. His criminal history also includes a burglary, theft, forgery, second-degree escape, battery and residential burglary. Muhammad, also known as Billy Joe Dallas, is a registered sex offender. He's lived in Clarkston for more than a year and had failed to register, the prosecutor said. A public defender was appointed to represent the defendant. Muhammad's next scheduled court appearance is 11 a.m. Monday for arraignment. The body of Richardson, a 69-year-old Lewiston woman was discovered early Friday next to a roadway leading to a parking lot, beach and bike path on the banks of the Snake River. Additional arrests made in homicide of Brenden Wilson  WOODBRIDGE, Va. -- Prince William County police have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of Woodbridge Senior High School student Brenden Michel Wilson, who was shot and killed Monday afternoon. Twenty-year-old Kawain Tyrell Smalls was arrested without incident at his home. Smalls is being charged with murder, use of firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Kymothy-Tyriq Desean Wilson, 18, is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony. The third suspect, identified by police as a 17-year-old juvenile, is also charged with conspiracy to commit a felony. A fourth suspect, identified only as a juvenile, remains at large. Smalls has a long criminal background, including robbery cases, identity theft cases and much more. The investigation shows that the shooting was drug related and both parties knew each other. A police source says that it was a pot deal gone wrong. Police: Black man shot, killed innocent White bystander in bar  LANCASTER CITY, Pa. —Police say an innocent bystander was shot and killed just after 10 p.m. Friday, at Shenk's Cafe. When officers arrived in the area, they found 28-year-old Lamar Douglas Clark in a roadway, about a block from the reported shooting. When officers arrived at Shenk's Cafe, they found a 54-year-old man shot in the back. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. He has been identified as Barry Diffenderfer. Investigators say Diffenderfer was not in any way connected to Clark. Officials say two other victims also arrived at the hospital, a 25-year-old man who was shot in the arm and a 60-year-old woman who was shot in the chest. - (Black-on-white) |

Armed black man holds hostages in Norman Oklahoma - shots fired - at least one White woman hostage   A suspect is in custody following an armed hostage situation at an Oklahoma office building Monday, according to police. Negotiations between the suspect and Norman police lasted for more than four hours at the employer services company, Nextep, located about 20 miles south of Oklahoma City, police said. Cowardly criminal black man, 29, charged with murder in fatal beating of White 77-year-old shop owner  A Port Jervis man has been charged with second-degree murder in the beating death of a longtime local shop owner. Dennis McBee, 29, is accused of fatally beating 77-year-old Josef Kucher while robbing Kucher’s Shoe Repair and Orthopedic at 43 Front St. in Port Jervis on Friday. Kucher died midday Saturday at Orange Regional Medical Center. McBee was arrested on an unrelated charge late Friday at a motel in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where he had been staying, and he then was linked to the attack on Kucher. The suspect remained in custody in Wilkes-Barre Monday afternoon, awaiting transfer to Orange County, Hoovler said. Kucher, an Austrian immigrant and military veteran, owned the shoe repair shop for 40 years. Young woman beaten in racial hate crime for telling perp to control her kid   A young skinny white female politely asked a much larger black female if she could “please calm down your child.” The woman was letting her kid scream and yell in the checkout line. Nordstrom is a high dollar clothing store, where you wouldn’t expect to be standing next to a screaming kid in the checkout line. The large black woman then brutally attacked the white female in the parking lot. She may lose three teeth. The left-wing San Francisco Gate downplayed the attacked. They wrote “moms make mistakes, and sometimes adventure out into the world when both they and their children are exhausted, emotional and fragile.” If the races had been reversed, the same newspaper would have been calling it a “racially motivated white on black hate crime.” The radical left-wing news website SFist.com took things even further. They mocked the white victim and defender her attacker. The far-left news site insulted the way the victim dresses and wrote “mind your business.” Every single local media outlet censored the race of the violent at large suspect. White woman allegedly attacked by black husband dies  The woman who was allegedly attacked by her husband in North College Hill in early October has died. According to police, a 12-year-old girl called 911 at 4:21 a.m. on Oct. 8 to report that the victim, Monica Jeter, was hurt. White NC mom killed, black felon boyfriend smoked cigarette outside after shooting, 911 call reveals  FUQUAY-VARINA, NC - Police have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old woman Thursday night. Police were dispatched to a shooting call at 9:38 p.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, police found Britny Jordan Puryear, 22, with a gunshot wound to the head. Logan Connail McLean, 21, was questioned in the shooting and then charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon. Puryear and McLean were dating and had a 4-month-old child together. WRAL-TV released parts of a 911 call that McLean made after Puryear was shot. "I think she's dead, man. Can y'all please help?" McLean told a 911 dispatcher. "I had a gun, and it went off in my hand, and it shot her." He thought she might still be alive, but made no attempts to save her until 911 dispatchers told him to stop smoking a cigarette and go back inside the house. "Are you right by her now?" the dispatcher asks. "No, I stepped outside, man," McLean said. "I stepped outside, 'cause I'm smoking a cigarette." "You're smoking a cigarette?" the dispatcher asks. Another Black Man Arrested in Fatal Omaha Jewelry Store Shooting of Elderly White Man    OMAHA, Neb. -- A second man has been arrested on suspicion of playing a role in the September fatal shooting of an Omaha jewelry store owner during a botched robbery. Authorities said Wednesday that 20-year-old Christopher Hicks is being held on suspicion of receiving stolen property, violation of probation and felony criminal conspiracy. Police have not said what role Hicks is believed to have played in the Sept. 17 shooting death of 71-year-old James Minshall Sr. Another man, 18-year-old Milton Dortch Jr., pleaded not guilty last month to first-degree murder and weapons charges in Minshall's death. On Sept. 12, an 82-year-old Fairfield woman walked out to her garage when Underwood forced his way into her house. Underwood hit the woman in the head with a handgun, which knocked her to the ground. 84-year-old man attacked, robbed, by cowardly criminal vicious black animal  DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - An 84-year-old man says his body aches after he was followed home, attacked and robbed. Bill Hunter said he went to a 7-Eleven early Saturday morning to get a cup of coffee and cigarettes. He said he didn't notice the man who was following him home until he got to the front door of his secured building less than a block away. "I said to him, 'Do you live here?' He said, 'No, I have friends in the building.'" Hunter said. The man shared an elevator with Hunter and followed him down the hall to his apartment. That's where the man shoved Hunter into his apartment and slammed the door. The man put him in a choke-hold against the wall and demanded Hunter give him the $300 he had in his pocket. The man left, leaving Hunter on the floor of his apartment. "The man was an animal. He was a vicious animal," Hunter said. Security cameras inside his apartment building -- a U.S. Housing and Urban Development property -- are broken and they didn't catch anything. Daytona Beach police said the surveillance cameras from the 7-Eleven show two black men inside the store at the same time as Hunter, but they can't link them to the crime. Two White women thwart attempted kidnapping of baby in Sligo Creek Park by black sexual pervert who also exposed 'himself'  SILVER SPRING, Md. - A morning stroll through a well-known Silver Spring park turned terrifying for a nine-month-old girl, and her nanny. Around 10 a.m. the infant and her caretaker were relaxing at a playground in Sligo Creek Park. While standing near the swings, police say, Raynard Holmes, 20, approached the nanny and asked, "Do you know what kind of animals you are?" Confused and troubled by the strange question, the nanny picked-up the baby in one hand and pushed the stroller in the other, but Holmes reportedly followed. Holmes became angry and aggressive, and pried the stroller straight from the nanny's hands while repeatedly yelling, "Give me the baby!" The nanny replied, "no", but Holmes refused to relinquish. About that time, longtime friends and daily walking companions, Trish Bunn and Liz Ranasinghe, stumbled upon the midday kidnapping attempt. They were stunned by the sight. "We saw this young lady, who was obviously distraught, holding onto a baby," Bunn remarked. "She was pointing at a man who was off to the side." In what can only be described as an act of gallant goodwill, Bunn and Ranasinghe confronted Holmes, who reportedly asked, "How do I get out of here?" The duo distracted the 20-year-old with a long-winded answer, giving the nanny and child enough time to run away. "He exposed himself to us, and that wasn't the most pleasant thing to see, but then he just turned around and took-off. I was glad about that," Bunn added. Bunn then grabbed her cell phone and dialed 911. Isreal Williams was accused of shooting and killing 46-year-old Thomas Schadowsky as he was driving away from the confrontation at a Gate gas station on Dunn Avenue in February 2013. Investigators said Williams admitted to getting into an argument with Schadowsky (pictured, right), whose body was found in his truck about 100 yards down the road. Keyon Powell, 22, has two months to decide whether he will accept a 20-year sentence in the killing of Danielle Schrenk, 21. Powell is accused of shooting Schrenk Feb. 3 after a group of people she was with tried to rob Powell of the marijuana he was trying to sell them. Powell had negotiated the sale with the group inside a car, but they took the marijuana without paying and ordered him out, prosecutors have said. Police: Black Man Killed In Pursuit Shot Ex-Girlfriend’s (White) Mother   ANAHEIM — A 29-year-old Orange County murder suspect died late Monday in a single-vehicle crash after a pursuit, officials said. Santa Ana police officers were in pursuit of a white Chevrolet Tahoe when it plowed into a retaining wall and caught fire. Investigators believe the driver intentionally drove into the wall as the vehicle was accelerated and the driver failed to brake immediately prior to the impact. The chase began in Santa Ana, where officers were told to be on the lookout for a vehicle related to a death investigation. Hours earlier, police received a frantic call regarding a 55-year-old woman who had been shot at home. Lahoma Ballester, who was hospitalized before she died, knew the suspect. Investigators say the suspect had a previous relationship and child in common with Ballester’s daughter. A man identifying himself as the suspect’s uncle said he believes the investigation will lead to his nephew, Tyrell Singletary. Black man serving life for killing White pizza delivery driver to get new trial   SUMTER, SC - The South Carolina Court of Appeals reversed a murder and armed robbery conviction and has called for a retrial of a man serving life in prison in connection with the 2008 slaying of a pizza delivery driver in Sumter County. Attorneys for Daniel Deangelo Jackson successfully argued state prosecutors improperly admitted statements of another man also convicted in the crime. Jackson and Reginald Canty were both convicted of the armed robbery and murder of Sambino's Pizza delivery driver William Flexon, 46, in August, 2011. Prosecutors said the duo placed a bogus phone call for a pizza delivery to the O.C. Mobile Home Park in the Cherryvale area of Sumter on the night of January 12, 2008. When Flexon arrived to a vacant mobile home, Jackson allegedly gunned Flexon down and ran off with the pizza but left money in the victim's pocket. Officers discovered Canty walking nearby shortly after the shooting. He was questioned and charged with murder and armed robbery. Video shows berserk black hospital patient attacking (White) nurses at St. John's GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - A video released Wednesday shows exactly what happened when a hospital patient attacked nurses over the weekend at St. John's Hospital. Police say 68-year-old Charles Emmett Logan, of St. Paul, died after being handcuffed by police following the attack on Sunday. Authorities are still investigating what caused his death. In the video, released by the Maplewood Police Department, Logan can be seen running through the nurse's station wielding a metal pole. He then hoists the pole over his head and begins hitting nearby nurses who are attempting to flee the scene. According to police, Logan had been hospitalized with episodes of confusion. Around 2 a.m., he assaulted four nurses and then fled the building. The nurses who were assaulted include a 40-year-old from Wyoming, Minn., a 22-year-old from Brooklyn Park, a 32-year-old from Lino Lakes and a 30-year-old from Hudson, Wis. One nurse suffered a collapse lung in the incident and another fractured her wrist -- others had cuts and bruises. After Logan fled the building, police found him three blocks away and ordered him to drop the pole. Logan refused. Police attempted to deploy a Taser device on him but it wasn't effective. Three officers eventually wrestled him to the ground and handcuffed him. Moments later, Logan was unresponsive and taken back to St. John's Hospital. He was later pronounced dead. (Black) Kinston man gets life in federal prison for killing (White) Nash County deputy  One of the men accused of shooting and killing a deputy sheriff was put away for life today. In August, Lamont D. Byrd pled guilty to federal charges of killing Deputy Warren "Sneak" Lewis. He then pleaded guilty in state court the next day for Lewis' murder, as well as for the killing of Thomas Hinton. Byrd was sentenced to life in federal court in Raleigh. State prosecutors said on June 2nd of 2011, four people decided they wanted to kill someone, and the D.A. said it just so happened that Hinton rode by on his bike at the time. The man was found shot, left in the street. Within a few days, officers had warrants out for 18-year-old Lamont Byrd, his older brother Maretto Byrd, 16-year-old Kion Dail, and 17-year-old Devine Slade. Raekwon Bryant also was part of that group at age 14, according to prosecutors. On June 9th, U.S. Marshals engaged in a standoff on West Lenoir Avenue in Kinston. Two black Walker County men extradited on charge of murder of White man Billy Ingram   The two Walker County, Ga., men named as suspects in the Oct. 20 slaying of a Cherokee County, Ala., man have been extradited to Alabama to face murder charges. Jeremiah Jackson, 21, of 932 Garretts Chapel Road, Chickamauga, and 36-year-old Darrell Burgess of 1015 Lee Ave., Rossville, are each being held on $500,000 bond at the Cherokee County Jail in connection with the fatal shooting of 39-year-0ld Billy Ingram, a resident of the Farill community east of the town of Cedar Bluff, according to jail officials in Centre, Ala. Authorities launched an investigation into Ingram's slaying after his body was found about 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 20 by deputies and officers with the Cedar Bluff Police Department. (Black) Bliss soldier arrested, charged after (White) El Paso County constable dies in Canutillo brawl  An El Paso County constable died early Saturday morning in a fight while working a security detail in Canutillo during a Halloween event, officials said. Robert White, who was constable for Precinct 1, was punched in the face and then fell to the ground, according to an arrest affidavit. White was not responding and "bleeding profusely," the affidavit states. Officials said a 19-year-old soldier from Fort Bliss was arrested in connection with White's death. A witness at the scene told El Paso County sheriff's deputies that White had lost "a large amount of blood." According to the affidavit, White was wearing his constable's uniform. The incident took place at WinkeyDoodles Paintball Adventures, which had just hosted the Terror Trail Haunted House. White was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The investigation revealed White and 19-year-old Devon Huerta-Person were involved in a fight. Witnesses identified Huerta-Person as the suspect and told investigators that he had fled the scene on foot. Black man accepts plea in shooting death of White medic   SARASOTA COUNTY, FL - Michael Minor accepted a plea arrangement of 30 years in prison for the death of a Charlotte County Fire and EMS lieutenant medic Sam Dreher August 4, 2012. "I truly am sorry, I truly am. And I know it sounds hollow and an apology sounds nowhere close close but I do realize the pain and suffering I have caused so many people," said Minor at this sentencing. Minor took the plea for the shooting outside the Saratoga Place Apartments in Sarasota County. Dreher was shot four times and died the next day. Minor was also sentenced 15 years for burglary and five years for theft to be served concurrently for entering the victim's girlfriend's apartment a month prior to the shooting. Black Harrisburg man gets up to 59 years in prison for crash that critically hurt White cop, black female bystander  The emotion was evident in his voice as a Dauphin County judge sentenced Christopher Slaughter to 29-1/2 to 59 years in state prison for causing a crash that severely injured a city policeman and a bystander. The judge imposed his sentence in front of a standing room only crowd of city cops three months after a county jury convicted Slaughter, 31, of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, fleeing police and drug possession charges for the April 2013 crash that injured Officer Daniel Peiper and city resident Selina Martin. Police were following Slaughter after he fled a traffic stop and saw him run 10 stop signs before he slammed broadside into Peiper's police vehicle. The impact flipped the police sport-utility vehicle onto Martin, who was sweeping her sidewalk. Cocaine was found in Slaughter's vehicle after the wreck. Broward Sheriff’s Office Arrests Black Neighbor In Oakland Park Murder Of White Woman  OAKLAND PARK – Five months after her murder, Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives said they have arrested the alleged killer of 19-year-old Nicole Franco. Franco’s neighbor D’Marcus Tucker, 15, is being charged with one count of first-degree murder in Franco’s death. Detectives said just before 3:30 a.m. on June 3rd, Tucker used a sliding glass door to enter Franco’s apartment. Tucker reportedly armed himself with a knife from her kitchen, before going into her bedroom in search of cash. Tucker took Franco’s wallet from her purse. As he turned to leave, Tucker accidentally stepped on the purse, which awoke Franco. Police said a startled Tucker stabbed Franco in the chest. Tucker allegedly told police he watched Franco dial 911 before fleeing. During the 911 call, Franco told the call-taker someone had broken into her house and beat her. Elderly White Man thrown to ground, robbed at Queens ATM by two cowardly blacks   Police are searching for two robbers who allegedly attacked an 81-year-old man as he was withdrawing money from a Queens ATM after attending church on a Sunday morning. The victim, Bill Eichhorn, went to a Chase bank ATM along Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside at about 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 to get money for a bagel and newspaper after church when the robbers assaulted him and threw him to the ground, he said. "I started to yell for help, but no one was around," he said. "I resisted a little, but I knew I couldn't do anything." The men got away with $100 and the victim's debit card. Police: Drunken black IRS worker knocks White woman out with steel divider at Steelers game   PITTSBURGH — A man was arrested at Heinz Field Sunday night after police said he assaulted a woman. According to the criminal complaint, 29-year-old Stephan Sapp was drunk outside of Gate C and was throwing steel dividers at officers who tried to force him to leave. Police say Sapp was screaming and cursing after he was asked to leave the game and that he threw the crowd dividers in "a dangerous, disorderly manner." Police said one of the steel dividers hit a woman in her head, knocking her unconscious. Investigators said Sapp claimed to work for the IRS and offered money for his release. |

Black inmate linked to August Lee Co. murder of elderly White man  LEE COUNTY, AL - The Lee County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in the death of 75-year-old Garvin John Albertson who was found dead in his home on Aug. 22. Deputies arrested 27-year-old Solomon Jamall Barnett on outstanding warrants for murder, first degree robbery, first degree burglary and first degree theft of property. Barnett's arrest comes after the investigation revealed evidence linking him to the beating and shooting death of Albertson. Barnett was already incarcerated in the Lee County Detention Facility on other charges when he was arrested on Tuesday. Deputies found Albertson's body in his home back in August. When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered that Albertson had suffered a single gunshot wound to the abdomen and had multiple lacerations consistent with blunt force trauma to the head. Albertson, who is a retired military man, lived alone and the preliminary investigation by deputies supports robbery as a possible motive for his murder. - (Black-on-white) |
Black Man sentenced to 20 years for shooting (White) North Charleston cop    CHARLESTON, S.C. – A man accused of shooting a North Charleston police officer twice during a criminal investigation pleaded guilty on this week and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Timothy Darrell Johnson shot Officer David Winslette in 2012 while trying to flee from a theft investigation. Johnson was charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm. Two other men, Dontreia Antwon Durant and Creiton Antonio Patterson, were charged with being accessories in the crime. Durant pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six years in prison. Police search for two black suspects after attack on (White) Roswell officer  ROSWELL, Ga. - Police have released sketches of two men they say attacked an officer at an apartment complex in Roswell Wednesday morning. Officer John Lathem with the Roswell Police Department approached two men sitting in a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Champions Green Apartments located off Holcomb Bride Road. Police say as soon as the officer approached the men they jumped out and wrestled him to the ground and slashed his face and arm with a box cutter. Officer Lathem was able to grab his gun and fire one shot. No one was hit and the men took off running. The only denoscription of the men is that they both were wearing black hoodies and one was heavier set with dreadlocks. Officer Lathem, a 15-year-veteran with Roswell Police, was rushed to an area hospital. He received numerous stitched but is doing well and will make a full recovery. - (Black-on-white) |
(Black) African-American citizen charged with murder of White man is caught attempting to escape a Namibian prison   Namibia's press agency said an American citizen attempted to escape from a prison in the capital, Windhoek, but was caught. The Namibian Press Agency, reported Monday that Los Angeles native Marcus Kevin Tomas climbed a tree inside the Windhoek Central Prison and tried to jump over the barbed wire fence but instead landed on top of the fence. Prison authorities told the press agency that they found Tomas hanging from the barbed fence and called emergency medical services to remove him. The agency said Tomas had injuries on his upper body and feet and was taken to a local hospital. Tomas and another American national Kevin Townsend were charged with the murder of a (White) Namibian citizen, Andre Heckmair, in 2011. Black Montgomery man receives only 2 year sentence for driving drunk, causing crash that killed young White woman  MONTGOMERY, Alabama -- The Montgomery man who confessed to driving drunk, crashing his vehicle and killing 25-year-old Ashlee Mock will spend the next two years in the county jail. Kevin Crosskey, 29, was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to murder and first-degree assault in September, court records show. Mock's family questioned the justice behind the man responsible for the death of their beloved daughter only getting a two-year sentence. Mock and her boyfriend, Jeremy Gaines, were standing by Mock's parked car in the 1900 block of Yarbrough Street in north Montgomery at 11:27 p.m. on Oct 18, 2013 when Crosskey crashed his SUV into them. Mock died at the scene and Gaines suffered serious injuries. Crosskey later admitted to drinking a dozen beers before getting behind the wheel. - (Black-on-white) |

LOUIS, MO -St. Louis police say a man and his two dogs were all shot and killed in the parking lot of a Subway restaurant on Hampton Avenue, just south of I-64 around 5:30 Friday evening. When officers got to the scene, they found a white man in his mid-30s shot in the neck. He was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries.According to the Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Task Force, two dogs belonging to the victim were also shot. A 2 year-old female Pit Bull/Boxer mix died at the scene. A 2-3 year-old male Pit Bull/Boxer mix was taken to the Animal Emergency Center, where he, too, was pronounced dead.St. Louis Police Lt. Clifford States says, “Seen on the scene was a black male suspect, who was last seen traveling northbound on Hampton from this location. 2nd black man pleads guilty in (White) Greenville pastor's murder  GREENVILLE, N.C. - A man accused of breaking into and killing a pastor in Greenville pleaded guilty in court Wednesday. Shamel Brown is accused of the August 2012 murder of Pastor Jim Carr in his Westhaven home. Tyler Artis has also pleaded guilty in the case and is serving at least 48 years in Central Prison. Black Man charged with 2012 St. Petersburg murder of White man during home invasion    St. Petersburg police have charged a 32-year-old man with a 2012 murder. Police said Christopher E. Roberson killed Richard Shaw during a home invasion. He is the third man charged in the two-year-old case, police said. A fourth man remains at large. Shaw was shot after intruders demanded money and drugs at his home. Other suspects have previously been charged with murder in the same case. Roberson was charged with first-degree murder on a warrant. Although he had been a suspect for some time, police said new information recently came to light and that led to the arrest. Black man charged in death of his illegitimate mixed-race child's (white) mother  A Tulsa man who police say fatally shot the mother of his child and then shot himself was charged with one count of first-degree murder and three counts of feloniously pointing a firearm. Robert Julius Tillotson III, 31, survived a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head after police say he fatally shot Beverly Ann Stratton, 32, on Oct. 25 at a house they shared. Stratton’s three children, ages 9, 11 and 12, were in the house at the time, and the 12-year-old called 911. Tillotson is the father of the youngest child. The two had a history of domestic violence, and on Sept. 25 Tillotson pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic assault and battery, in addition to malicious injury to property and interference with an emergency phone call. The four charged in May are Daniel Lamont Mathis, Shantai Monique Shelton, Mersadies Lachalle Shelton and Travis Leon Bell, also known as Kweli Uhuru. Quick, 45, went missing the night of Jan. 31 after leaving his mother's Afton home for Charlottesville to see his girlfriend and infant daughter. Federal authorities said he was carjacked, abducted, and driven around while money was withdrawn from his bank accounts before being shot to death. His body was dumped in the woods of Goochland County, near its border with Louisa County, according to a federal indictment. In May, federal authorities indicted nine people in connection with Quick's disappearance and death, including Bell.
