Man on crane in Atlanta is wanted for murder in Oldsmar, Florida Florida - A man threatening to jump off a crane in Atlanta is the same man wanted for a murder this week in Oldsmar. Deputies have issued an arrest warrant for Carl Edward Roland. They believe he killed his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Gonzalez Tuesday night at her apartment complex. Neighbors found her face down in the pond behind her apartment on Tuesday night. Sex-ed: Former Teacher Accused Of Sex With Student COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A former Columbus Public School District teacher is accused of having sex in his classroom with a middle school girl last year. Antonio Smith taught science at Franklin Alternative Middle School and was a soccer coach, Tate reported. "He has a charming personality," said the alleged victim's grandmother. "He's a good-looking guy. That draws young girls in." Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien said the 14-year-old and Smith had sex twice during school in Smith's classroom before another student caught them kissing. - (Gman) |
Sex-ed: Principal Faces Sex Accusation The highly praised principal of Chester High School, Dr. Eboni Wilson surrendered at the Delaware County courthouse today in the company of his wife, and then was charged with having sexual contact with a 16-year-old student inside the school auditorium. Dr. Eboni Wilson surrendered to Delaware County detectives today. The charges against the principal of Chester High are all related to allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old female student. Chapel Hill Rape Suspect Arrested A man wanted in Chapel Hill for allegedly attacking three women earlier this year has been arrested in Richmond, Virginia.Donald McCray, 40, is accused of rape, kidnapping and assault. Police were finally able to identify him when they found the white car he allegedly used in the attacks. McCray's alleged victims told police they were forced into the car by him so he could sexually assault them. The first attack happened in the University Mall parking lot. The second attack was in Durham, on Fayetteville Road – also on March 11th. The third attack happened near Legion Road and Europa Drive in Chapel Hill on April 13th. |
Gary Sinegal Charged with Serial Capital Murder The Texas Department of Public Safety Forensic Laboratory in Houston says results link Gary Sinegal to the murders of Margie Gafford and Louise Tamplin. Forensic DNA evidence also links Sinegal to the assault of Brenda Choate on April 21.Although two other women have come forward saying they think they were assaulted by Sinegal, police believe Choate is the only known survivor of Gary Sinegal. |
New Orleans police Department have issued arrest warrants for three black men in connection with four sexual assaults   Aaron Taylor, 37, forced his way into a home in the 2000 block of Burgundy Street armed with a knife. He sexually assaulted a 52-year-old woman and stole property from the home.Alvin Gould, 34, sexually assaulted and robbed a woman in the 1000 block of Loyola Avenue, investigators said. DNA evidence has since identified Gould as the suspect. He was forcible rape and simple robbery. David Dixon, 27, sexually and physically assaulted his 38-year-old wife. Young Killer Lionel Tate Held in Pizza Delivery Robbery   (CNN) -- Lionel Tate, whose first-degree murder conviction in 2001 made him the youngest person sentenced to life without parole in the United States, was arrested after a pizza deliveryman said the 18-year-old robbed him at gunpoint in Pembroke Park, Florida. Tate is accused of greeting Domino's delivery man Walter Ernest Gallardo with a handgun. Gallardo fled the scene, called 911 and returned to identify Tate. Girl, 8, Survives Being Raped, Buried Alive; Suspect Held  Lake Worth, Fla. — An 8-year-old girl who had been sexually assaulted and buried under rocks in a trash bin was found alive Sunday by an officer searching a landfill, authorities said. A teenager was charged with attempted murder. Milagro Cunningham, 17, who had been staying at the house of the girl's godmother, was charged with attempted murder, sexual battery on a child under 12, and false imprisonment of a victim under 13 years old, police said. Francis Vallery Jr accused of killing his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Herring, 30, of Scott, died at a hospital early Wednesday afternoon after a man walked into the lobby of the Microtel Inn and Suites in Lafayette and shot her repeatedly. Herring's ex-boyfriend, Francis Vallery Jr., 31, was arrested in connection with the shooting Thursday at a friend's home, Lafayette Police Cpl. Mark Francis said. Low down Navy Recruiter Admits To Sexual Abuse of three young MALE recruits  A former U.S. Navy recruiter is sitting in the Iberia Parish Jail waiting to be sentenced for sexually abusing recruits.The jury was ready for trial Thursday, but earlier this week 27-year-old Joseph Sampy pled guilty before his case went to trial. Sampy admitted he's guilty of three counts of sexual battery. Two teachers from DeKalb County faced the same judge Thursday morning in separate sexual molestation cases  Johnny Gilbert, a football coach at McNair High School, is accused of two counts of child molestation, two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, and two counts of sexual contact with a person in custody or control. The charges stem from a teenage girl's claims that Gilbert brought her and a male student to a wooded area near McNair High for “inappropriate contact.” An affidavit shows Gilbert asked the teens, ages 14 and 15, to simulate sex. Dishwasher Charged in 2003 Kidnapping, Rape DNA has been used to charge a man in an April 2003 kidnapping and rape. Jackson County has charged Bryant E. Harvey, 36, with kidnapping a woman off a Kansas City street and raping her. Harvey was arrested Wednesday at an Overland Park, Kan., restaurant where he worked as a dishwasher. Donta M. Allen, 27, is accused of killing Linda Trinh, 21, in her apartment near the university's Homewood campus. Girls basketball coach charged with sexual assault of minors  A girls' basketball coach at Troup Middle School, in jail Friday on charges of sexually assaulting at least two teenage girls, had been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon last August - before the school district hired him. Samuel Antonio Sutton, known as Tony, turned himself in to the Troup Police Department on Friday, about two weeks after he resigned from Troup Independent School District. Low-down Sacramento Ministry Official Arrested for Child Molestation The leader of a Sacramento ministry charged with molesting a 17-year-old male teenager who had come to his house to do yardwork. Sacramento County sheriff detectives arrested Anthony Cassells, 40, after a report was filed by the victim. Cassells has two prior convictions for child molestation and is listed as a high-risk sex offender. Cassell befriended him and offered him money to do yard maintenance. Ex-police officer gets 20 years for sexually assaulting (raping) 19-year-old woman  A former Jackson police officer maintained during sentencing that he did not force a 19-year-old woman to have sex with him in his patrol car in 1999. Maceo Simmons was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Prosecutors wanted the District Judge to send Simmons to prison for the rest of Simmons' life for violating the woman's civil rights. "The court feels 20 years for a man who is 48 is a sufficient sentence." DNA leads to rape charge  Three-and-a-half years after a 17-year-old Cincinnati girl was snatched from a bus stop on her way to school, tied up in a vacant building and repeatedly raped, a suspect is in custody. Hamilton County prosecutors say a DNA sample taken from Gary Box after he was convicted of another crime and a random spotting of Box by the rape victim earlier this month in a Cincinnati park led to his arrest. A Hamilton County grand jury indicted Box, 29, of Bond Hill, on Friday on charges of rape, kidnapping and aggravated robbery. |
Convicted Felon Charged In Another Sexual Assault COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police say a serial rapist who was charged last week in an April sexual assault has been charged again. Raymond Richmond was charged Thursday with another sexual assault after police said his DNA confirmed his involvement. The sexual battery occurred last summer.
