Black beast attacked and tried to rape an 89-year-old White woman
Leon AlexanderLeon Alexander victimCOLUMBUS, Ohio You don't live 89 years without overcoming a trial or two. "When you're born and raised through The Depression and you get through that, you can survive anything,” she said. And this 89-year-old, who we are not identifying, is no exception. "I'm a tough old bird," she said with a laugh. But after what happened in her Denune Avenue home May 23, even the daily setting of the sun can trigger terror. "I make it pretty good through the day. It's just the nighttime. I just dread to see nighttime come," she said. “I have these flashbacks and nightmares. It's like I see somebody peeping in the window, or somebody's a knockin' on the door." It was around 4 a.m. when she was startled awake by a stranger in her bedroom. "He just comes in and said, ‘I'm here to rob you.’ I said, ‘You come to the wrong house,’" she said. She told him she didn't have any money. "He said, ‘Well I'll rape you then.’ That was the words that come out of his mouth. Tore all of my clothes off me and threw me on the floor," she said. Bruises and bandages on her hands and arms show the violence of the attack and the ferocity with which she fought back. "I fought him with my fist. I kicked him. I slapped him in the face. That's when he picked me up and throwed me. He slapped me full force right in the face,” she said. “And I said, ‘Where is your mother?’ And I told him God was watching everything he was doing, and I said, ‘He'll get you, buddy!’" - (Black-on-white)

Amoreena WadeLesiba Simon MatsoakeVIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — After a two-day jury trial, a man was found guilty Wednesday of a Virginia Beach sexual assault that happened over a decade ago. 42-year-old Lesiba Simon Matsoake was convicted of forcible sodomy. The jury fixed his punishment at 40 years in prison. Prosecutors say on June 11, 2004, Matsoake forced a 22-year-old woman, who he didn’t know, to perform oral sodomy on him. The victim, an aspiring comedian, was at the Oceanfront that night celebrating her first gig. After having a few drinks, she went to 63rd Street and decided to skinny dip in the ocean. It was in the middle of the night, and the victim thought the area was deserted and no one was around. Suddenly, she saw a naked man, later identified as Matsoake, walking toward her. Matsoake forced the victim to the ground. Waves crashed over her head as she struggled against him. Fearing for her life, the victim begged Matsoake to move up the beach and out of the water. Matsoake sexually assaulted her and then ran away. The victim got into her car right away and drove to the police station. On the way, she saw an officer on the side of the road and flagged him down. She told him she had been sexually assaulted. She was able to preserve seminal fluid left behind by her attacker and forensics technicians collected it.     (Black) Akron man gets prison for attacking (White) Humane Society officer with knife, shovel
McCullen WebbHumane Society Officer Timothy HarlandAKRON - Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh said McCullen Webb, 33, of Akron, was sentenced to six years in prison for attacking an Officer with the Humane Society of Greater Akron with a knife and shovel. In a release, it was confirmed that Webb pleaded guilty Sept. 15 to felonious assault with a repeat violent offender specification. According to Bevan Walsh, on March 28, 2016, Webb attacked Humane Society Officer Timothy Harland as Harland sat in his work vehicle on 18th Street SW in Akron. Webb approached the vehicle and struck Harland with a shovel, then used a knife to cut Harland on the head, face, and arms. Harland spent several days in the hospital recovering from his injuries. Webb also used a barbell to shatter the vehicle’s windshield. Responding officers repeatedly ordered Webb to drop the knife and tried to subdue him with a Taser, but it had no effect. An Akron police officer eventually shot Webb in the leg after he refused the repeated commands to drop his knife. In a related matter, Bevan Walsh confirmed that an Akron police officer was justified in connection with the March 28, 2016 shooting of Webb. - (Black-on-white)

Rashied MitchellTabitha Apling FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- A 46-year-old Federal Way man accused of shooting a woman to death with their young children in the apartment has been charged with first-degree murder, But it's unclear whether Rashied Mitchell will live to answer to those charges. After Tabitha Apling was shot to death, Mitchell turned his 9 mm pistol on himself and shot himself in the head, court documents say. He suffered a life-threatening wound. Apling's death and Mitchell's attempt at suicide made good on what he promised as he and Apling struggled Saturday night at a Federal Way apartment in the 31700 block of Third Place Southwest. Court papers said he told his mother during the struggle: "If you call 911, I'm going to shoot her, and I'm going to shoot myself." The shooting just after 10 p.m. came a mere 12 days after Mitchell was ordered by a court to stay away from Apling and their children, ages 5 (years) and 6 months. Apling and Mitchell had shared a home in Auburn, but he had recently moved in with his mother in Federal Way. Court documents say that evidence suggest that Mitchell shot her in the back from close range after he regained control of the pistol. - (Black-on-white)

DNA evidence used to make composite sketch in 2001 Orlando cold case homicide (of White woman by black man)
Christine Frankeblack killerORLANDO, Fla. - Thanks to new technology, the Orlando Police Department has used DNA evidence collected in 2001 to make a composite sketch of a man they believe to be a murderer. On Oct. 21, 2001, Christine Franke was a 25-year-old University of Central Florida student working to complete a degree in education. After a working a shift as a bartender and waitress at Cigarz Bar at Universal CityWalk, she drove home. She was found the next day, dead in her Audubon Park apartment. OPD detectives have been working on the 15-year-old cold case since then, but have not been able to identify a suspect or make an arrest. DNA evidence was collected at the scene of Franke’s slaying, but it has never caused a hit in the FBI’s Combined DNA Index System. Orlando police Chief John Mina announced Friday that exactly 15 years after Franke's death, a new step had been made in the case using DNA phenotyping. DNA phenotyping is the process of predicting physical appearance and ancestry from unidentified DNA evidence, Mina explained. Using DNA from the Franke homicide investigation, experts were able to predict that her killer was a dark-skinned man with brown eyes, black hair, no freckles and likely with West African ancestry, the OPD said. - (Black-on-white)

A possible person of interest in the May 8 slaying of 50-year-old Nataliya Shal is being sought for questioning, and police are asking the public's help in finding him. The person of interest is described as a young man more than 6 feet tall with a slim build. Police released an artist's sketch on Tuesday showing the man wearing a black hoodie. Shal's husband of nine years, David Englerth, was out of town and called police sick with worry that Sunday evening because he'd been unable to reach his wife by phone and wanted officers to do a welfare check. When police showed up at the Lakes of Madera Apartments on West Baker, they peered in a window and caught a glimpse of Shal's lifeless body. Police forced their way through a locked door to discover the mother of one, brutally murdered.     Police return car to 77-year-old (White) woman carjacked at library (by two cowardly criminal black females)
Doris SellardssuspectsuspectRAYTOWN, Mo. -- There is some good news for a 77-year-old Raytown woman who was carjacked Monday as she was leaving the Mid-Continent Public Library. "You never know if anyone has a gun, or whatever," Doris Sellards said describing the attack. "I grabbed ahold of her arm and when I did that she whacked me really good." It was a rough day for Sellards, but Tuesday brought better news as her car was found and returned to her at 31st and Hardesty. A few items are still from inside the car are still missing, but the car itself is in good shape. "I thank whoever did this, to make the car return to me. Thank you so much for all of you, for all your work," Sellards said. While she has her car back, the search for the thieves continues.
Sellards stopped at the library to make some photocopies. The retired musician with the Kansas City Symphony noticed two young women hanging around but didn't think anything of it, until one of them, a black woman with distinctive dyed strawberry blonde hair, ran up behind her and ripped her keys out of her hand as she was returning to her car. "I was nearly to my car. I go, 'come on. Give me my keys back,' you know, not even realizing, because she was laughing. Sellards said the woman tossed the keys to her accomplice. When she tried to stop the pair, one of them punched her. "I was the target. They spotted me and they waited for me, and they went inside and waited for me," she said. Sellards says she screamed as the two women, in their late teens or early 20s, got away. And to show you how life has changed, in the old days somebody would have come to help." - (Black-on-white)

An ambulance took her to a hospital in Syracuse, where she later lost consciousness. Rhoades was pronounced dead Saturday. Syracuse police on Monday arrested Kevin D. Johnson, 47, of 611 Ash St., Syracuse, in connection with Rhoades' death. Rhoades and Johnson knew each other, Fowler said. Johnson was not at Rhoades' home when police arrived early Friday, however "there are witnesses to the crime," the chief said. Family members said they don't think this was the first time Johnson assaulted Rhoades, a divorced mother of three whose married name was Kimberly Samson. She was assaulted about three weeks ago, but never reported it to police. They are looking into whether the victim's prostitution arrest last year could be somehow connected to her death. - (Black-on-white)

Police believe a man in his late 20s or 30s shot a gun from his vehicle, striking the driver and front-seat passenger of a second car. Late Saturday, police identified 29-year-old Kenneth McDonald as a suspect in the shooting. After the woman and man were shot, their car crashed into a barricade on I-15, just south of the Spring Mountain Road overpass. The 48-year-old woman who was shot was rushed to University Medical Center with three gunshot wounds, Metro Lt. Dan McGrath said. She was pronounced dead just before 11 a.m., he said.

About 20 minutes after they learned of the shooting, police were called by employees of a CVS at Windmill Lane and Las Vegas Boulevard South who reported a man had entered the store armed with two handguns. One employee, whom McGrath called a “very good witness,” told police the shooting suspect pulled his pants down and tried to sexually assault her. She pushed him away, and CVS employees moved to the back of the store, where police were evacuating the building. McDonald entered the enclosed entryway to the CVS, where “there was a bit of a standoff,” McDonald wouldn’t listen to officers’ commands, the lieutenant said. The police dog bit McDonald on the lower leg and thigh, and he was promptly arrested. McGrath said he continued to disobey officers as he was herded into the back of an ambulance. - (Black-on-white)

BLACK MUSLIM CONVERT: Suspect in Boston police shooting wrote of Islamic ‘rebirth,’ two police officer victims WHITE
Kirk FigueroaOfficer Matt MorrisOfficer Richard CintoloBOSTON —5 Investigates uncovered several aliases used by Kirk Figueroa, the man killed by Boston Police after he shot two officers on Wednesday night in East Boston. He took on one of them as he experienced what he called an Islamic “rebirth” in Africa. It's a picture of contradictions uncovered by Five Investigates, where Figueroa, 33, who started at least three companies in Florida and other states focused on security and protection is now the man who nearly killed two officers responding to a domestic violence call.
5 Investigates uncovered a job posting for “Police Protection” for one of those companies named Bailrunners. In it, Figueroa identifies himself as Muhummed Isa Al Mahdi. The ad said Al Mahdi was looking for people interested in helping him “hunt down fugitives and bring them to justice." 5 Investigates also discovered a posting from Muhummed Isa on a website guide for Mosques from October 2012. Isa wrote about his “rebirth as a baby into the Nation of Islam” following a trip to an area of Ethiopia and a Mosque in South Africa. Isa went on, writing that his unique and blessed journey was prepared and guided by Allah. Most recently, Figueroa was using the name Kocoa Xango on social media, identifying himself as a police constable. His last post under that name came just a few hours before the fatal shooting. Documents obtained by 5 Investigates also found criminal trouble for Figueroa dating back to at least 2005 when he was arrested in Georgia for impersonating a police officer. - (Black-on-white)

Attempted homicide charges against alleged kidnappers bound for court
Dayna WilliamsJerone Moore, Nygee Taylor and Chloe IsaacsWILKES-BARRE TWP. — Dayna Williams offered grisly testimony Thursday against the two men who allegedly slashed her throat and left her in the Bear Creek Township woods in October. Magisterial Judge Michael Dotzel bound all charges against Jerone Moore, 32, and Nygee Taylor, 25, including kidnapping and attempted homicide, over to the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas following a two-hour joint preliminary hearing. The third suspect in the case, Chloe Isaacs, 21, waived her hearing, sending her charges, including kidnapping and simple assault, to county court.
According to police, troopers got a report about a “naked and bloody female” wandering a road in Bear Creek Township on Oct. 5. Williams, 22, had suffered a 3-inch laceration from her trachea to her ear, police said. During her testimony, Williams pulled her hair back to reveal a scar on her neck to the judge.

Williams said she had known Moore two days before the incident. They met at Public Square in Wilkes-Barre and she offered to let him to stay with her in Pittston, where she lives with her mother. She had a few beers at a get-together with Moore and Isaacs on Oct. 4, and there was an argument about a missing cellphone, which the victim denied taking.

Nygee Jamal TaylorDayna WilliamsWilliams said she would have never thought a missing cellphone would lead to this. “I don’t know if they didn’t believe I didn’t take (the cellphone) or if they just wanted to have fun and do what they wanted to do,” she said. “I don’t know.” The next day, Isaacs came to Williams’ apartment in Pittston and picked up her and Moore. They drove to 58 N. Hancock St. in Wilkes-Barre, where Isaacs and the father of her children, Taylor, lived. Several women, including Isaacs, stripped Williams of her clothes and took her prenoscription Xanax pills and identification. The woman forced Williams to her knees and took turns punching her in the face before one of them put a cigarette out on her neck. Williams’ hands were bound with wire and a garbage bag with a hole for her head was fitted over her. She wasn’t sure who put her in a barrel, where she spent about four hours, but said Moore opened the lid at some point to make her drink a soda cap full of liquid and crushed pills, which she believed were her own Xanax.

Williams said Moore and Taylor later carried her to a car, lifted her out of the barrel and into the trunk and drove to Aleeda Road in Bear Creek Township, she said. When they took her out of the trunk, they made her march forward, telling her not to look back at either of them. They forced her to her knees and she blocked the first attempt to slash her throat, getting her finger cut. “You got to go deeper,” she heard one of the men say. Then, the man ran the blade across her neck, and the assailants left her in the woods as they fled the area, she said. - (Black-on-white)

Finding a way out: (Black-on-white) Domestic violence
Timothy MoodyHeather Duhachek-ChaseOMAHA, Neb. -- She was almost unrecognizable after the incident. The bruises and the swelling faded away and on the outside you probably couldn’t tell that Heather Duhachek-Chase had once been so close to losing her life. But the attack left her family with more than any physical scar could. It was about five years ago that Heather dropped her kids off at her ex-husband’s house when they began to argue. She had left him months earlier after she says he started to break things around the house. On this day their arguing was different. He said if she left before he was done talking that he would never see their kids again. Heather told him he shouldn't put their kids between them in a way that would instill the fear they'd never see their father. On the way out she blurted out that he was crazy for acting the way he did. As she turned she heard him ask, “What did you say?” and before she knew it she had been pulled by her hair onto the ground. Her children watched as their father strangled their mother. "There's pieces of it that I will never forget. You know, like looking up and seeing the bottom of a shoe above my face," said Heather. As her ex-husband went to grab a butcher knife Heather managed to get away with her three kids and hide at the neighbor’s place. Investigators would later ask her why he even had a giant meat clever of a knife. That only left her with horrible questions in her mind. - (Black-on-white)
