After guilty verdict in second murder trial, (black) defendant attacks officer and spits on prosecutor A jury once again found Damien Inman guilty of the robbery, murder and kidnapping of 75-year-old Mary Alice Stutts in Dillon in 2009. Jurors began deliberations at 6 p.m. Wednesday and reached a verdict around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. A jury convicted Inman in 2010 in this same case and sentenced him to life without the possibility of parole. But the South Carolina Supreme Court reversed the conviction and ordered Inman a new trial last year saying the Circuit Court improperly granted a motion and committed a legal error by denying Inman his right to challenge a juror during jury selection in that 2010 trial. After the verdict was announced Thursday, there was a scuffle between Inman, officers and a prosecutor. Inman swung at an officer and was taken down by other officers. His sister somehow made her way past officers to get to Inman and was arrested. Inman then spat on Deputy Solicitor Kernard Redmond and Dillon County Sheriff Major Hulon. A deputy received minor injuries from being cut by the handcuffs in the struggle to restrain Inman. Inman and two other teenagers went to Stutts' home on August 17, 2009 asking for a drink of water. Stutts directed the teens to the outside faucet. "She tried to help three men with water on a hot day. And what did she get in return for that? Death, a brutal senseless death," said Daniel. The teens hit Stutts with a gun and threw her in the trunk of her car, Daniel said. He added they drove around in Stutts' car with her screaming for help in the trunk. The teens turned up the volume of the radio to drown out Stutts' cries for help, Daniel said. He said they killed her and left her body on a dirt road in Dillon County. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) female robbers accused of carjacking attack with concrete KANSAS CITY, MO - A Kansas City waitress is recovering from an attack on the West Plaza in which she says a woman stole her car by lobbing a piece of concrete from the curb along the sidewalk. She said it all started with two women asking for gas money, then those women attacked when they got no for an answer. Rajanae Walker, 17, who lists an address in south Kansas City, is now charged with first-degree accessory to robbery. A police statement submitted in support of the charge says Walker told them, “She needed a car to go see her 14-year-old brother, so she took one from a white lady on the Plaza.” The two victims called for help at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday. The charging documents detail the victims' accounts as follows: Samantha Nofsinger-Smith was dropping off a co-worker, Jamie Murphy, at a condo complex after finishing their work shift. Two women got out of a car with what looked like two to three other people inside. The women asked for gas money and to borrow a cell phone. Nofsinger-Smith and Murphy declined. That's when one woman grabbed Murphy by the ponytail and began kicking and punching her while the second demanded her purse. Soon after, the second robber picked up a piece of concrete from a damaged curb and threw it at Nofsinger-Smith, hitting her in the shoulder. The robber then punched and kicked her while demanding her car keys, with the victim gave up. Two men in the area heard the victims screaming and scared off the two robbers. The first got into the car she arrived in and drove away. The second drove away in Nofsinger-Smith's car. At 11:34 p.m. police spotted Nofsinger-Smith's stolen car at Cleaver II Boulevard and Highway 71. They stopped the car and arrested Walker, who was the only one inside. The victims were unable to identify her in a lineup. Police said Walker waived her Miranda rights Friday morning and admitted to taking the car, but denied the physical assault and did not give enough information to identify the second suspect. - (Black-on-white) |

A tragic tale of 2 families that ended with molestation and murder Lisa Scheetz and her three daughters were frequent visitors at Leeton and Donna Thomas' home, just a five-minute walk around a corner from the home the Scheetzes lived in on Spring Valley Road in a rural area of East Drumore Township. Social media accounts show the two families' children sitting together on a sofa. In a few photos, Lisa Scheetz, 44, is seen hugging one of the Thomases' sons, who she calls "my little dimple dumpling," during a breakfast out at a restaurant. In another photo on Mrs. Thomas' Facebook account, one of the Scheetz daughters, in her pajamas, is curled up with a pillow. But by 2014, the families' friendship came to an end, when Scheetz told police that two of her daughters had told her that Leeton Thomas had sexual contact with them. Thomas was charged with felony sexual molestation charges, and released on $5,000 bail. Early Thursday morning, Thomas broke into the Scheetzes' basement apartment and stabbed Lisa and her oldest daughter, Hailey, 16, to death and critically injured Scheetz's 15-year-old daughter. Authorities say that Thomas killed them in retaliation or to silence them for accusing him of sex crimes. Thomas, whose nickname is "Pie" and who will be 38 Saturday, came to Lancaster from Jamaica, where he and his wife met, said Donna Thomas' grandmother, Beulah Absher, of Quarryville. The two have three children and also were raising a child from Donna Thomas' first marriage, she said. For a time, Thomas had worked as a handyman. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Man indicted in shooting of (White) cop in face A Queens grand jury has indicted the man authorities say fatally shot a young cop in the face when the officer asked to see what was in his waistband. Demetrius Blackwell, 35, will be brought to Queens Supreme Court from jail at 2 p.m. Thursday to answer to the indictment, which charges him in the murder of Police Officer Brian Moore three ways, under three separate statutes. The top murder charge, aggravated murder, accuses Blackwell of intentionally killing a police officer in the line of duty. If convicted of that charge, Blackwell would be thrown in prison for life, without the possibility of parole. That sentence would be mandatory, meaning a sentencing judge would have no option to give him less. Finally, he is charged with the attempted murder of Moore’s partner, Police Officer Erik Jansen, who was sitting in the driver’s seat of the pair’s unmarked car as Moore, sitting in the passenger side in plain clothes but identifying himself as an officer, was shot through his open window.. - (Black-on-white) |

27 Years After Shooting White Man In Head - Raping His Wife - Black Man Released Darwyn Minton, 54, is a free man tonight. His victim isn't happy. Minton served 27 years in prison after he severed a phone line, slipped into a home, shot a man three times and sexually assaulted his victim’s wife. During a March parole hearing he claimed he was no longer the same man that committed those crimes. “I realized that I had hurt someone very seriously,” he said. “And I don't feel good about that. I'm ashamed about what I have done.” His victim, Rick Morrow, said he wants the full story told. Morrow was the man who was shot in July, 1987. In previous interviews Morrow said he wasn’t sure he was going to survive. After being shot multiple times, once in the head, Morrow slipped in and out of consciousness. Morrow remembered that he had a gun near his dresser and somehow made it to the gun, eventually shooting Minton. The shot took off some of Minton’s fingers and hit his jaw. It also gave Morrow’s wife enough time to get Minton’s gun, and make it to the neighbor’s home with her two daughters to get police. These days Morrow no longer lives in Omaha. In fact, he never slept in the house where the worst night of his life unfolded. With Minton free, he’s asked that his current location is not disclosed. Morrow said he hopes that people understand that Minton is a dangerous man. - (Black-on-white) |

UK: Police watchdog investigates 19 incidents linked to murderer who killed mother-of-four then stayed the night because he'd missed his last bus The police watchdog is investigating how the West Midlands force responded to 19 incidents concerning a mother-of-four and the man later convicted of murdering her. The Independent Police Complaints Commission is looking into a string of offences allegedly committed by Marcus Musgrove on Jacqueline Oakes, 51, before he finally battered her to death in January last year. It said Musgrove was accused of attacking and stealing from Miss Oakes, among other crimes, over a nine-month period from April 2013. IPCC Commissioner Derrick Campbell said: 'Our investigation is looking into how police handled the incidents and whether they identified and managed correctly risks to Jacqueline Oakes as a vulnerable woman.' Musgrove was jailed for life, and ordered to serve at least 18 years, after he was unanimously convicted of murder at Birmingham Crown Court last July. His trial heard he befriended the victim in April 2013 but quickly grew violent and controlling. Miss Oakes made a number of complaints to police but later withdrew them. Musgrove killed her at her flat in Edgbaston, Birmingham, after he was arrested over an earlier attack on her. He callously spent the night at the address because he had missed his last bus home. The 40-year-old, of Aston, showed no remorse during his two-week trial and tried to blame Miss Oakes by claiming she had been violent towards him. Passing sentence, Mr Justice Timothy King told him: 'This was a dreadful murder. Jacqueline Oakes was a beloved mother of four and was capable of showing great kindness, including to Mr Musgrove himself. - (Black-on-white) - (UK) |
Assault by pack of feral black thugs at ‘First Fridays’ under investigation, (White) victim calls attack a ‘hate crime’ FLORENCE, Ala. – Police are investigating an assault that was reported during First Fridays in Florence. Investigators said 20 to 30 juveniles assaulted a Lauderdale County man and his 14-year-old son at Wilson Park. According to the victim’s wife who witnessed the attack, the group “was using slurs of race” while tasing her husband and beating him. Juli Dawes said her husband Kevin was trying to protect their son when they turned on him. She said the juveniles also shattered the windshield of her car, where she was waiting with her 4-year-old. “I’m not as ready to identify this as a hate crime, but we are considering all angles,” said Florence Police Chief Ron Tyler. “There are no set of circumstances that would ever justify an unprovoked attack by a group of thugs, and we will not allow any group to hijack the family friendly First Fridays event.” At last check, Kevin Dawes was meeting with a facial surgeon. The 14-year-old son sustained minor injuries. - (Black-on-white) - (Hatecrimes) |

Black Man Found Guilty Of Strangling His White Female Boss at a Burger King in 2006 WAUKEGAN, Ill. — A Lake County jury has convicted James Ealy of strangling his former boss during a 2006 robbery at the north suburban Burger King restaurant where he once worked. Jurors deliberated for a little more than three hours before finding Ealy guilty on one count of first-degree murder in the death of 45-year-old Mary Hutchison. Ealy faces a minimum prison sentence of 20 years and up to life behind bars. It’s the second time the 48-year-old has been convicted of murder, though jurors who decided this case weren’t told about his earlier convictions for a 1982 Chicago quadruple-killing. In that earlier case, Ealy was found guilty of strangling four people in the Rockwell Gardens housing complex, including his teenage girlfriend, her 3-year-old son and her pregnant mother. Those convictions were overturned on appeal in 1986 in a ruling that barred so much evidence from the case that prosecutors were unable to retry him for the slayings. But 20 years later, Ealy was charged with strangling Hutchison with the bow tie of her uniform on Nov. 27, 2006, while robbing the Lindenhurst restaurant she managed. The early morning robbery allegedly netted him $1,701, prosecutors have said. - (Black-on-white) |

Daley was initially arrested after crossing over a double yellow line and nearly colliding with an oncoming police car, officials said. - (Black-on-white) |

K-9 saves Hancock County deputy from ambush attack by three 'Black Gangster Disciples' A manhunt is under way after a Hancock County Sheriff's Department deputy was saved by his dog from an ambush attack by three men. The deputy, Todd Frazier, was beaten and cut with a box cutter in Pearlington on Monday, Sheriff Ricky Adam said. If it wasn't for his K9 partner, a black Belgian Malinois named Lucas, they might have succeeded. "They told him they were going to slit his throat, and they were dragging him toward the woods," Chief Deputy Don Bass said, adding that authorities believe the attackers meant to drag Frazier into the woods, kill him, and dump his body. "The three of them were dragging him toward the wooded area, and he was able to break one hand free to activate the button that opens the door and it released Lucas," Bass said. The dog bit at least one, probably two of the suspects, potentially saving the officer's life. That was more than good equipment and a good dog, Adam said. Adam said given the attitude in the country toward law enforcement, he has been trying to prepare his deputies for the worst. "We've been stressing this for months and months now. It's no different from last week we get a BOLO from the state alerting us that the Black Gangster Disciples have put out an SOS, or 'Shoot on Sight' for police officers," he said - (Black-on-white) |

(Black female) NYPD Officer Accused Of Stealing Dead (White) Man’s Credit Card, Ordering Diamond Ring Dead men tell no tales — and they don’t buy cops diamond rings. Prosecutors say an NYPD officer on a call helped herself to a corpse’s credit card number to buy herself some bling. Ymmacula Pierre “is accused of disgraceful conduct by using the credit card information of a dead man to buy expensive jewelry,” said Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance. Pierre, 30, was indicted on criminal possession of stolen property, identity theft and official misconduct charges for the brazen theft, which prosecutors said happened in Greenwich Village in July of last year. Pierre was called to an E.14th St. apartment to make a “wellness check” on a 65-year-old man with medical issues who’d failed to show up for work, prosecutors said. Pierre, who was assigned to the Sixth Precinct station house, discovered architect Ken Sanden dead inside. She used his Samsung Galaxy phone to contact his niece, and vouchered some of his property, including his Mastercard, prosecutors said. She also allegedly jotted down Sanden’s credit card and email information for herself. Two days later, Sanden’s card was used to buy a diamond ring online from Zales for $3,282.58, authorities said. - (Black-on-white) |

San Francisco police search for (cowardly black) thief who targets vulnerable elderly and disabled women SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco police are looking for a pickpocket who targets elderly and disabled women on Muni. Police say the suspect was caught on camera on Saturday, stealing the wallet of 69-year-old Karen Sellers. Sellers, who uses a scooter, was on the 5 Fulton line, and says she was suspicious of the thief almost immediately. She said he was holding a jacket over his arm, and repeatedly bumped her with that jacket on the ride. When the bus stopped near McAllister Street and Van Ness Avenue, he made his move. "Stage a fall directly on top of me, pinning me to the chair doing what he had to," said Sellers. "I yelled right away, he got out the back door and I looked down and my purse was wide open and I said 'thief.'" The suspect got away with Seller's wallet with several credit cards. Police said the cards were used within minutes, and say the theft was the work of a serial pickpocket. Officer Carlos Manfredi from the San Francisco police department calls the thief a coward, for targeting the most vulnerable passengers. - (Black-on-white) |
Skeletal Remains Found in Fremont Matched to (White Female) Swedish Student Who Vanished in 1982 Authorities say skeletal remains found in the East Bay Hills are those of a Swedish exchange student who disappeared more than 30 years ago. The remains belong to Elisabeth Martinsson, a 21-year-old studying at the College of Marin who vanished on Jan. 17, 1982. The Marin County Sheriff's office got her positive identification from dental records in November, after skeletal remains were first found in Fremont's Morrisson Canyon in 2010. But he said his agency needed more time to investigate, in trying to explain why it took so long to announce the news. Martinsson was working as a nanny and staying with a family in Greenbrae in Marin County when she went shopping for a pair of boots and never returned. Ten days later, a man and a woman were found with her car in Oklahoma. The two – Henry Lee Coleman of Los Angeles and Sabrina Ann Johnson of Seattle – were never charged in the woman's disappearance and eventually the case went cold. Coleman is still considered a person of interest, authorities said. Sheriff's investigators are trying to determine if he is still alive. The cause of death remains undetermined. Her ashes will be sent to her family in Sweden. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Springfield man gets 72 years for home invasion, sexual assault, attacking police officer Antonio Florence was sentenced to 72 years in prison Thursday, but Springfield police officer Bryan Henson still expects Florence to continue to affect his life everyday. An emotional Henson told Sangamon County Associate Judge Christopher Perrin at Florence's sentencing hearing that he is still dealing with the emotional and psychological damage Florence caused. During the afternoon of Feb. 21, 2014, Henson responded to a routine "dropped" 911 call — meaning no one was on the other end when the call came through. When he arrived, Florence, 38, confronted him at the door. A woman inside on the couch behind Florence yelled to Henson that Florence had raped her and that he had a gun. Henson, an eight-year veteran of the force, was attacked, knocked to the ground and nearly had his weapon taken in a struggle with Florence, which ended with Henson shooting him in the leg. He hasn't been the same since, he said. "Every call I go on, I have the fear of being blindsided," Henson said in his testimony Thursday. "I will never be the same officer as I was that morning." - (Black-on-white) |

2 (worthless black thugs) Arrested In Connection With 1978 Kidnap-Rape-Murder Of (White) Lancaster Woman LANCASTER — Deputies Wednesday announced the arrest of two men in connection with the murder of a Lancaster woman in 1978. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, 20-year-old Leslie Long — a married woman who had three young children — worked alone at a gas station on the corner of Palmdale Boulevard and Division Street in the City of Palmdale. Between 8 p.m. and 10:05 p.m. on Dec. 3, 1978, two African American men entered the gas station with a handgun, and robbed Long of an undisclosed amount of money. Deputies said the suspects then kidnapped Long, forced her into their vehicle at gun point, and drove away heading south on the Antelope Valley Freeway towards Los Angeles. The suspects then pulled off the freeway and drove to a deserted area where they raped Long before shooting her multiple times. After the shooting, both men returned to the vehicle and fled from the scene. Paramedics pronounced Long dead at the scene. According to detectives, the search for her killers remained unsolved for the past 37 years. “At the time of the murder, both suspects were active gang members,” said Det. Steven Lankford. In March 2006, new leads and persons of interest re-opened the case. Officials said Neal Matthews, 58, and Terry Moses, 59, were linked to the horrific crime after DNA technology located their sperm on Long’s body. Matthews was arrested at his home in Lancaster on Thursday, detectives added. He is being held at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station, and appeared in court on Tuesday. He remains in custody without bail. Deputies said Moses is currently serving a life sentence on an unrelated case. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office filed an arrest warrant on Moses in connection with Long’s murder. He is expected to be arraigned at a later date. - (Black-on-white) |
