Convicted black purse-snatcher stabed White woman in Target parking lot  NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Police said they received a tip that will help them charge a homeless man connected to a stabbing that occurred Oct. 27 outside a west Nashville Target store. Convicted robber Timothy Kelly, Jr., 23, was identified as the man who stabbed Barbara Futter, 46, and robbed her of her purse outside a Target. Kelly was already in custody in connection with another robbery. He also faces charges for stealing a woman's purse Oct. 25 in the parking lot of the Charlotte Pike Walmart. elly was convicted in July 2008 of robbing an 84-year-old man outside the victim's home. Photos Released of Black Murder Suspects in White Police Killing   The youngest suspect in the murder of a Metro police officer will be charged as an adult. North Las Vegas police say the 17-year-old has been transferred to the North Las Vegas Detention Center where the two other suspects are being held. One of those suspects, 18-year-old Prentice Marshall, was released from the hospital on Friday. He had suffered a gunshot wound in an exchange of gunfire with Metro Officer Trevor Nettleton. Marshall, 20-year-old Saul Williams, and the 17-year-old are facing murder and robbery charges. Police have also added gang enhancement charges. Police say all three have documented gang activity in their past. Investigators say the three suspects ambushed Nettleton in the open garage of his home near Bruce and Lone Mountain as he returned home from work. White veteran robbed, killed on way to deposit money from benefit - by black robbers  Army veteran William "Bill" Burtner survived Vietnam and dedicated his life to helping other veterans.
On Monday, Burtner was about to enter a Midlothian bank to deposit money the south suburb's Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2580 had raised during a benefit.
He never made it inside.
Burtner, 65, was assaulted and robbed outside the bank. He died Wednesday night at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
An autopsy today concluded Burtner died of hypertensive cardiovascular disease and fractured ribs from the assault, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. Denver police arrest 32 young black males in series of racial assaults on Whites and Hispanics The Denver Police Department arrested 32 men and juvenile boys after a months-long undercover investigation into what police said were racially motivated assaults and robberies in downtown Denver. A task force composed of Denver police, the FBI and the Denver district attorney's office investigated 26 incidents in which groups of black males verbally harassed, assaulted and at times robbed White or Latino males. All of the suspects are young black males, most of whom told police they were associated with either the Rollin' 60s Crips gang or the Black Gangster Disciples gang. Daughter of white man burned alive by three black men speaks out    The daughter of a Jackson man who was doused with alcohol and severely burned last week said the most difficult thing to accept is that one of the men charged in the incident was her father's friend. Freddie Jones, 52, is in critical condition, on a ventilator and in a drug-induced coma at the burn unit at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis.
Brian Brawner, 28, Randy Leon Miller, 23, and Sam Edward Stevenson, 44, have each been charged with attempted murder and especially aggravated kidnapping in the incident. ."Someone he trusted did this to him," Jones' daughter said. "It's not making any sense. Why did he do that to my dad?"
Jones' daughter said her dad told her that the men set him on fire because they were afraid Jones "was going to snitch to the police about some gun."

And the day 50-year-old Eugene Summers pleaded guilty to kidnapping and homosexually assaulting her son, Matthew, was no different.
Summers, a close family friend, moved in with Gifford's parents in the late 1970's. "He helped my mother take care of my father when he was dying. I can't help but wonder if he did that just so he could have access to my son," Gifford said. Matthew Gifford says that access led to years of abuse behind closed doors.
Summers later moved to Denver, Colorado, and began living with Theresa Gifford's sister. He worked as a counselor for Denver Public Schools. Monfort sought in connection with the shooting of Seattle Police Officer Timothy Brenton has been shot by Seattle police in Tukwila. The black was shot in the head at 2:50 p.m. and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Records show he was a student at Highline Community College. An adviser there said he was interested in criminal justice. Black gets life sentence for fatal shooting of White woman at North Dallas smoke shop  A Denton County judge sentenced a gang member who said he was on PCP when he killed a woman at a Far North Dallas smoke shop to life in prison without parole. Arsenio Desmond Petty stood before the Judge ttoday in an orange jail uniform with his hands and feet shackled. A jury found him guilty of capital murder. The verdict carries an automatic sentence. Black Teen sentenced to 55 years in prison for murder   Indianapolis - A 15-year-old boy has been sentenced to 55 years in prison for fatally shooting a man outside his Indianapolis apartment. Prosecutors say Nevin Brooks was 14 when he killed 27-year-old David Hardwick in March 2008. Brooks wasn't arrested in the case until January, after a juvenile court judge had sent him to a rehabilitation program at Boys Town in Omaha, Neb., for his involvement in armed robberies. A Marion County judge said Thursday that Brooks' age weighed heavily in the sentencing decision, but that society must be protected from his violent behavior. The teen's father is in prison for a 2001 murder conviction, but Hardwick's widow says being failed by his family didn't excuse the shooting. Hardwick was a jewelry store manager with three children and two stepchildren. "I'm happy with the sentence," said Danielle Hardwick, the wife of murder victim David Hardwick. Killer Nigerian migrant rapist loses sentence bid   A man who raped and murdered a White Belfast mother-of-one has lost an appeal against his minimum 22-year sentence. Nigerian national Kristoff Emmanuel Alauya, 24, was jailed in January for the murder of Grace Moore. The 38-year-old's body was discovered by her teenage daughter at their home in Suffolk estate in November 2006. On Friday, Appeal Court judges ruled the sentence for the "truly heinous" killing was neither wrong in principle, nor manifestly excessive. Alauya, who lived in County Carlow in the Irish Republic, stabbed, strangled and raped Ms Moore after meeting her in a city centre nightclub. He then ransacked her home, stealing electrical items and cheque books. Afterwards, he flagged down a taxi and went to a garage to buy food. Crazed Negro shoots White car repairman in head for no sane reason * Victim's shop will stay open (photo)     Police said Troy Johnson shot and killed George Tyrones, a Tucker business owner, inside his car repair shop. Investigators said the shooting happened at the European Autocare Center on La Vista Road Monday afternoon. Preliminary reports said Johnson was upset over a car repair bill and then shot and killed Tyrones. Johnson's co-defendant, Abel Johnson (no direct relation), waived his first appearance hearing Wednesday. Both will appear again in court Nov. 3. Retired White British nurse, 93, brutally raped and murdered in Florida home by black 'odd job' man  A 93-year-old retired British nurse had her throat slashed in a brutal murder at her Florida home. Wheelchair-bound Evelyn Norell may also have been sexually assaulted during the murder, allegedly committed by an odd job man. Police say the elderly victim was discovered naked from the waist down and lying in a pool of blood, by her granddaughter yesterday.

Black serial killer wants confession thrown out - raped and murdered 13-yr-old White girl  A 19 year old Anthony Kirkland was first convicted in the 1987 beating death of his then girlfriend that he also set on fire. Kirkland served 16 years of a 25 year sentence. He was paroled in 2003, and left unsupervised after 13 months of probation.
Kirland was sent back to prison in 2007 for trying to have sex with a 13 year old, he was out and living at the now notorious Pogue Center in a years time, this time he was also a convicted sex offender.
From the time he was first paroled in 2003 to the arrest in the rape and murder of Esme Kenney; Kirkland is accused of rape, assault, and multiple counts of murder. Black boyfriend bashes little 11-month-old White boy to death   KOKOMO, Ind. -- The boyfriend of a Kokomo woman whose 11-month-old son died from a blow to the head was arrested Wednesday in the boy's death. Derrick A. Fox, 28, took Malaki Lindley to a Kokomo hospital early Sunday unconscious and unresponsive, said Kokomo police Lt. Don Whitehead. An autopsy later determined that the boy had died from blunt force trauma to the head. Fox was taken into custody on Wednesday and preliminarily charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death, Whitehead said. The Judge set an execution date for Clarence Goode Jr. Jurors found Goode, 31, guilty of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Kayla Burchett, 10, a Collinsville fifth-grader; her mother, Tara Burchett-Thompson, 25; and the slain woman's husband, Mitch Thompson, 28. Their bodies were found Aug. 26, 2005, at the couple's home. The jury imposed a death sentence on each murder count, and Goode received a concurrent 20-year term for first-degree burglary. He has maintained that he is innocent. Co-defendant Kenneth D. Johnson faces a Feb. 19 trial on the same charges. Then, one summer night in 1987, Craig Price crept across his neighbor's yard, broke into a little brown house on Inez Avenue and stabbed Rebecca Spencer 58 times. She was a 27-year-old mother of two. He was 13. Two years passed before Price struck again. Joan Heaton, 39, was butchered with the kitchen knives she had bought earlier that day. Smiling Black pleads not guilty to running down a white family in McDonald's parking lot - killing 2-year-old   The black man accused of running down five white family members and killing a 2-year-old girl in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant in Covington last May pleaded not guilty. Lanny Perry Barnes, 46, attended the 15-minute arraignment hearing wearing street clothes and no expression on his face. Sitting behind him was Stephanie Casola, the mother who was hit, along with her two sons, niece, and sister, by Barnes' vehicle. Witnesses told police that Barnes struck the family, backed up, smiled, and drove into them again. Casola's niece, Avery King, died of her injuries. Dark Demon Sex Offender Charged With Kidnap-Rape-Kill of White 11-year-old Jacksonville Girl In 1996  Fla. -- A Connecticut sex offender will be returned to Florida to face a murder charge after being linked to the decade-old rape and drowning of an 11-year-old girl through a database of DNA from convicted sex offenders. Robert Shelton Mitchell, 43, was being held on a $5 million bond after being arraigned as a fugitive. He will face first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the death of Cherie Morrisette of Jacksonville. The Mandarin Middle School student body was found on Dec. 8, 1996, floating in the St. John's River about 10 miles south of the apartment she shared with her mother and sister. An autopsy determined that Cherie drowned shortly after her disappearance on Dec. 2, 1996, and was alive when she either fell into the river or was thrown in. Police labeled the death suspicious, and authorities found a small DNA sample on her underwear and body. Mitchell lived in nearby Middleburg at the time of the girl's death, police said Thursday. Mitchell later moved to Connecticut and was convicted in January 2003 of illegal sexual contact with another child.
