Sports: Bisexual? Coach Facing Child Sex Charges The head football coach at McNair Senior High School was expected to make his first court appearance after he was arrested amid allegations that he had improper relations with two students at the school. Johnny Gilbert is facing several charges, including two counts of enticing a minor and two counts of sex with a child in their custody. He was taken to the DeKalb jail. "Nanny" Demetrius Threatt gets 21 years for molesting little girls and boys again  N.C. -- A man parents trusted with their children as a babysitter is headed to prison. Demetrius Threatt went from state to state befriending families. He allegedly landed jobs as a babysitter and molesting both girls and boys. Threatt was convicted in Oklahoma for molesting a child. He later moved to Colorado where he befriended another family and babysat their children. When the family moved to North Carolina Threatt convicted them to take him with them as a nanny. Threatt was convicted of molesting four children related to that family. The judge sentenced Demetrius Threatt to 21 years. - (Tyrone N. Butts) |
Negro pleads guilty to kidnap, assault, battery and raping elderly 74-year-old woman Stanley Otis Williams, 45, pleaded guilty to raping a 74-year-old woman in her home in April of 2004. Williams entered pleas of guilty to Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First Degree, Burglary in the First Degree, Kidnapping, Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill and Strong Arm Robbery. Williams was sentenced to 40 years in prison. He'll have to serve 34 years before he's eligible for parole. - (Tyrone N. Butts) |
Former "American Idol" - "Pretty Boy" Leroy Wells behind bars again A former American Idol hopeful is in the news again, but not for his performing talents. Mobile police say he was arrested during Fat Tuesday's Mardi Gras festivities in downtown Mobile. He is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Wells was out on bond for allegedly shooting a hand gun into an occupied vehicle in December. The Alabama native wowed fans with his rendition of "Got Your Money" by O.D.B. Even though he wasn't able to watch his performance from home, sheriff’s deputies did allow Leroy and other inmates to watch American Idol from jail. Boyfriend Charged in Woman's Death A 34 year-old Roseland, Louisiana, man has been arrested for the Saturday shooting death of a McComb, Mississippi, woman. McComb Police say Shaunta Ardillo, 25, was shot at least five times through the right window of a Ford Expedition in a parking lot in McComb after a domestic dispute over the weekend.Louisiana police arrested Alanza "Henry" James, 34, Sunday night for the murder of Ardillo. McComb investigators say Ardillo had been living in McComb for only a few months but had recently been fired from her job at a tanning studio. James had been fired recently from a McComb auto dealership. The shooting occurred in a church parking lot behind a rooming house where Ardillo lived at 411-1/2 Delaware Avenue at about 1:50 p.m. Saturday. She was found in a 1998 white Ford Expedition, shot to death, Saturday evening. Police say Ardillo was the mother of four children under the age of nine. Kidnapped 14-year-old girl safe after arrest of 39-year-old Michael Hightower  Michael Hightower kidnapped the girl from her home. "He was armed with a handgun when he forced his way into the house and he hit the 80-year-old grandfather over the head with a gun and took his wallet, keys to his car and some money," Hoffman said. "Then he took his car, the one on the Amber alert." Hightower faces charges in Georgia of kidnapping, aggravated assault on a person over the age of 60, theft by taking auto and armed robbery. - (Tyrone N. Butts) |
| White man robbed then dragged behind a truck by two (non-whites) using racial slurs - "Not a hate crime" A Hartsville man says two robbers took his money, then dragged him behind a truck last weekend. The victim, who is white, told officers the men used racial slurs as they chained him to the truck. But, Darlington County Sheriff's Lieutenant Robin Bryant said he does not think at this point the crime was racially motivated because the men were first "just interested in robbing the victim". - (Tyrone N. Negro Sexually Assaults Three-Year-Old Child at Day Care Richland County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a dark sex beast who sexually assaulted a three-year-old girl at a Midlands day care center. He walked into Spring Valley Presbyterian Church Day Care on Sparkleberry Lane, took the child into a restroom, and sexually assaulted her. It happened on January 24th. The beast was about 25-years-old. He wore a large diamond earring. Norfolk Police Arrest Black Male Suspected of Raping Young Girl Norfolk police have a man in custody they say may have raped a young girl. Donnie Ray Tucker, 48, turned himself in at police headquarters Tuesday morning. Police aren't saying where she was attacked, but say it happened around 4:00am Sunday morning. Officials had issued a public appeal to find Tucker Monday night. After seeing reports in the media, Tucker turned himself in. - (Tyrone N. Butts) |
"Breaking up is hard to do" Murder charges for Mobile teen accused of setting his girlfriend on fire With 75 percent of her body covered in third degree burns, 18-year-old Deanna Stoutamire fought for her life for about a week, but passed away Sunday morning. Her boyfriend ("with friends like these..."), Kendrick Hamilton, is now facing the most severe charge, capital murder. Prosecutors claim Hamilton intentionally set Stoutamire on fire inside her apartment."She was a good person. She don't never mean no harm to nobody," said her girlfriend Regina Privett "She was like, 'Kendrick be hitting on me' and I was like I thought she was telling a story, you know, and then she showed me some bruises and I told her she needed to break up with him," said Privett. - (Tyrone N. Former Crematory Operator Faces Families LaFAYETTE, Ga. -- Former crematory operator Ray Brent Marsh sat in court Monday and listened one by one to the relatives of some of the 334 people whose bodies he left to decay on his property. "The only question I have for you is 'Why did you do this?' There has to be a reason," Randall Jensen, of Boaz, Ala., asked Marsh in the courtroom. Jensen's father was supposed to have been cremated by Marsh. Instead of performing cremations, Marsh, former operator of the Tri-State Crematory, left bodies to decay around the property. Herenton, 64, who is not married, said at a news conference that he had recently learned he is the child's father. First Witnesses In Camden Murder Trial Discuss Possible Motive   Ga. -- Friends of a 23-year-old Jenieka Murphy found murdered in 2001 told a Camden County jury that the victim had stolen drugs from the two men accused of killing her. She had taken cocaine and marijuana from Gregory Walker Jr., who is on trial for Murphy's murder, and a co-defendant, Shedrick Tate. A former co-worker testified that she witnessed a confrontation about the theft on June 8, 2001, the day before her body was found dead on Refuge Road. Prosecutors said Murphy was shot seven times in the head. Walker and Tate were arrested in Atlanta after the killing. - (Tyrone N. Butts)

Black cop-killer to be featured speaker at Jackson City Hall for Black History Month    Republic of New Afrika terrorist Imari Obadele was convicted in the death of a Jackson police officer nearly 25 years ago. Next week he will speak inside city hall. Imari Obadele was invited by black Councilman Kenneth Stokes to speak at a black history program Tuesday, and his appearance is causing quite a stir. The scene was chaotic in August of 1971 hours after Jackson police officer William Louis Skinner was gunned down during a house raid. Police and FBI agents were serving an arrest warrant. Inside were members of the Republic of New Afrika , a separatist militant group. Twenty-six-year JPD vet Jimmy King was nearby. "It was quiet all of a sudden; sounded like a small war going on," said King. "You just didn't lose an officer like that. It was very traumatic," Black stated. In 1972, RNA president Imari Obadele along with several others was found guilty in the killing of Skinner. He served less than six years. On February 1st Obadele will stand inside Jackson City Hall in front of an audience to talk about the RNA eleven. Canton police officer charged with extortion of mostly Hispanic (Illegal Mexican Alien) drivers during traffic stops Bond has been set at $50,000 for a Canton police officer charged with extortion. He appeared in Madison County Justice Court Thursday morning. A crowd of Canton residents jeered at Lieutenant Roger Thomas as he was led into the Justice Court building. Madison County Deputies arrested Thomas Wednesday after a sting operation that was launched amid complaints that he was taking money from mostly Hispanic drivers during traffic stops. 14-year-old black youth to be tried as adult for murdering two people - Consultant said defendant's age, race were factors Ten women and two men will hear the double murder case pending against now 15-year-old David Harris when his trial begins Monday. He is accused of killing David Hutchinson, 20, and George Vance, 27, four days apart last May in Over-the-Rhine. Former Church Members Say Pastor Threatened to Kill Them Pastor John Harris is accused of threatening to kill members of his own congregation. The pastor says it is a warning from God. Clarence Bender says his wife is living in fear after she and other members of the Straight Gate Holiness Church decided to leave the congregation. The Nashville church has been suspected in the past of cult-like activity. Pastor Harris wrote "I have set a mark upon thee. A mark for thy slaughter." and says he is just a messenger. Feds charge former East Spencer alderman in financial scandal  CHARLOTTE — Former East Spencer Alderman Chris Sharpe pleaded guilty Monday to federal charges tying him to a financial scandal that included secret payments to public officials, salaries to relatives who never worked for the town and invoices for street work that never happened. Federal officials say the scheme eventually defrauded East Spencer taxpayers, the state Department of Transportation, a mortgage firm and two out-of-state payroll funding companies. Sharpe conspired with two other elected officials, a businessman and the wife of one of the officials to receive "tens of thousands of dollars" in secret payments. - (Tyrone N. Butts) |

of Character month. Five or six years ago the newsmedia saturated us with negritude 24/7 during February. The American people aren't as dumb as they look; we can only take so much celebrating the inventions of the biscuit cutter, the door knob, the curtain rod, the door stop and the super soaker water gun. Many of these claims are seen for what they are and other negro claims of invention have been definitively debunked. It became buffoonish after a while and I believe that the newsmedia recognized that. As negroes grasp at straws to find any boost for their fragile self esteem, we simply look to modern Africa or our local newspapers to see the negro in it's natural state: murderous, self absorbed, vicious, incompetent, and always whining that white people don't like them. Well tell me this, what is there to like? Sure, there may exist certain individuals of color who are decent folk, but who has the time and energy to go through city busloads of negroes until you find one like that?
