police say the convicted killer next door may be responsible for an attack on
his elderly neighbor. When Florence Chiszar
heard a knock on her door around 6 a.m. Tuesday, police say it was Gregory
White, the 84-year-old's next-door neighbor. Investigators believe that white

Utica Negro, who police suspect sexually assaulted a minor, has turned himself
in. Larry Dean Lee surrendered. He's charged with three counts of rape. The Sheriff says investigators had been searching for Lee for several weeks. Lee has an extensive criminal history. registered sex offender is charged with fondling a 13-year-old
girl at a birthday party. Calvin Lee Green is charged with enticing a child, said a Montgomery Police spokesman. He was booked into the county jail. Green is accused of touching the girl, a sixth- grader in a sexual manner during a birthday party. Perkins suffered from bipolar disorder at the time of the slaying of Lashenna
"Jo Jo" Moore said Perkins' lawyer. Perkins, 50, is to be
executed May 21 for the death of Lashenna, his girlfriend's granddaughter.
Authorities said Perkins sexually assaulted her and smothered her with a pillow.
"It's a horrible, horrible crime. This was a young girl, 7 years old, brutally

Police arrest Kareem Petty in slaying of White woman Savannah-Chatham
Metropolitan police arrested Kareem Petty on Saturday following a series
of investigative breaks spurred from an anonymous CrimeStoppers tip.
Gloria Peloquin, 43, was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Southside
strip mall as she left a grocery store during what police are calling an attempted
robbery. Peloquin was trying to leave the parking lot in her vehicle when she
was accosted by a group of teenagers around 1 p.m., Wilson said. She was shot
once in the chest and later died at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Raleigh police have charged 31-year-old Stevie Robertson with statutory
rape of a 13-year-old female student off campus. Robertson went to the girl's
home when her mother was out. The warrant states when the mother returned home,
Robertson held the door shut to block her entry. He later allegedly pushed her

Hall, a co-ed, predominantly freshman dorm. Officials would not say how Faulkner,
