(White) Swedish Student Speaks Out After Robbery Attack In Wynwood (by two blacks)
suspectsuspectFrank HammarWYNWOOD — This week was supposed to be a celebration for 28-year-old Frank Hammar. He was set to graduate from the Miami Ad School and his parents had flown all the way in from Sweden to see him finish his studies. Instead, they sit bedside at Jackson Memorial Hospital while their son recovers from being shot and robbed. “I was really lucky with the bullets,” said Hammar. “One of them entered into the abdomen, stopped somewhere further… butt cheek.” His celebrations would be cut short after a dinner with his parents in Wynwood. As he walked home, surveillance video showed two men approach him. One pulls a gun and demands his cellphone and wallet. “This one guy comes up to me with a gun drawn on me and next to me and is telling me to take out my stuff and put everything on the floor,” Hammar recalled. “I pulled out my cell phone and put it on the ground and told them to take it easy.” Coming from one of the safest countries, where pickpocketing is the biggest concern, Hammar hesitated to give the thieves his wallet because they contained his Swiss credit cards. “Impossible to get a hold of quickly again and I have had a really hard time for my last month that I have here in the states,” he said. That decision, however, is what made the men mad enough to shoot him, Hammar said. “And the other guy says something like ‘blast him’ or ‘pop him’ and the guy with the gun fires two bullets.” Hammar suffered two gunshot wounds to his lower torso. Thankfully, he remained conscious enough to crawl into the street where a passing car noticed, stopped and called for help. It’ll force Hammar to miss his graduation ceremony. But he said he’s just thankful to be alive. - (Black-on-white)

Tammy Lynn TalfordLawrence "Leon" TalfordA Knox County woman who killed her husband in a fit of rage over a text message pleaded guilty Monday. Tammy Lynn Talford, 57, pleaded guilty before Knox County Criminal Court Judge Steve Sword to a reduced charge of voluntary manslaughter. She had faced a second-degree murder charge in the fatal shooting of husband, Lawrence "Leon" Talford, 52. As part of a plea, Tammy Talford was sentenced to 15 years in prison and agreed to turn over the proceeds of life insurance she collected in her husband's death to his family. The punishment is at the top of the penalty range for voluntary manslaughter. Because Talford already had a criminal record, she must serve 45 percent of the 15-year term before she will be eligible for parole. She initially reported to the Knoxville Police Department that the April 2015 shooting at the couple's home was accidental. Tammy Talford told arriving officers that she and her husband were passing a .38-caliber handgun back and forth, and then gun discharged. Her husband had suffered a gunshot wound to his upper chest. Under interrogation, however, Tammy Talford admitted she and her husband were arguing over a text message he sent to another woman. Her husband concluded the text with the words, "I love you," according to Terry's prior testimony. Tammy Talford told the police investigator she retrieved the gun from a night stand drawer and wound up shooting her husband.     Sergeant remains hospitalized with skull fracture; charges filed
Joseph R. HazenA sergeant with the Yuba County Sheriff's Department remained hospitalized with a skull fracture caused when a man struck him with a metal object in Marysville on Monday. Criminal charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer were filed against the suspect, Joseph R. Hazen, 38, on Tuesday in Yuba County Superior Court. He is being held in Yuba County Jail with no bail. The officer's name has not been released, as not all of his family members are yet aware of the situation, Capt. Ron Johnson said. The officer was "doing fine" Tuesday, but was being monitored at UC Davis Medical Center for potential surgery, Johnson said. The sheriff's department requested an attempted murder charge be filed against Hazen when they learned of the severity of the sergeant's injury. "Once we learned he had a fracture and some bleeding, brain bleeding," Johnson said. "And it was an unprovoked act." Hazen allegedly struck the officer with some kind of metal object when the officer was serving civil documents at the home in the 600 block of I Street at about 1:50 p.m. The motive is unclear. Hazen was not the subject of the civil service. The weapon may not have been found yet. Johnson said deputies found a couple of objects that may have been used to strike the officer, including a pipe and a wrench, but they haven't positively confirmed which item was used. Hazen ran from the house after the assault, Johnson said. So, he may have dropped the weapon as he ran through Marysville yards.

Jury Recommends Death For ‘Grim Sleeper’ Killer
Lonnie Franklin Jr. LOS ANGELES — Jurors Monday recommended that the so-called “Grim Sleeper” be sentenced to death. The jury deliberated for more than five hours over two days before recommending that Lonnie Franklin Jr. be executed. The victims’ families broke into tears as the sentence was read. But Franklin sat stone-faced and never acknowledged the families sitting near him. Outside the courtroom, the families consoled each other as they finally had some sense of closure. “I’m glad it’s over, and that he’ll never get out to hurt anybody else. Justice has been served,” said Diana Ware, mother of victim Barbara Ware. The former Los Angeles city garage attendant and sanitation worker was convicted of 10 counts of first-degree murder for killing nine women and a 15-year-old girl between 1985 and 2007. The 63-year-old was also found guilty in the attempted murder of Enietra Washington, who survived being shot in the chest and pushed out of a moving car in November 1988.

  • NYC: Choosing a School for My (black) Daughter in a Segregated City
"The New York City public-school system is 41 percent Latino, 27 percent black and 16 percent Asian."
"In a city where white children are only 15 percent of the more than one million public-school students, half of them are clustered in just 11 percent of the schools, which not coincidentally include many of the city’s top performers. Part of what makes those schools desirable to white parents, aside from the academics, is that they have some students of color, but not too many. This carefully curated integration, the kind that allows many white parents to boast that their children’s public schools look like the United Nations, comes at a steep cost for the rest of the city’s black and Latino children.

She is the former principal of the Adass Israel School, an ultra-orthodox Jewish girls’ school in Melbourne, and is wanted by police in the Australian state of Victoria in connection with 74 sexual assault offenses involving students at the facility.

Philly Police Identify (Black) 18-Year-Old Suspect In Theodore Street Homicide (of a White man)
Quintis Clark78-year-old Joseph DalyPHILADELPHIA — Police have issued an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Quintis Clark in the murder of 78-year-old Joseph Daly in Southwest Philadelphia. Captain James Clark with the homicide unit says the body of 78-year-old Joseph Daley was found Tuesday afternoon inside of his home. Officers responded after neighbors called police to say they haven’t seen him around lately. Authorities say the cause of Daley’s death appears to be strangulation and blunt force trauma. They add that they believe that Clark tried to rob the victim just days before his body was discovered. “We actually found his van up in the Northeast,” Clark said of discovering Daley’s stolen van. “As a result of that, we saw some video of one of the doers getting out of the van.” Police believe that was Clark. Police say Clark has friends and family in the Northeast and that he is from Southwest Philadelphia, from the same neighborhood where Daley was found dead. “He was seen getting out of the victim’s van. We had a couple people come forward and put him inside of the house at the time of the murder,” Clark said. Officials say that Daley’s back windows of him home were broken and the believe the motivation was robbery. One neighbor says the news brings some relief, but that they’ll feel more comfortable when Clark is in custody. Initially, it was reported that witnesses saw multiple people leaving the victim’s home and the investigation is ongoing to determine if more people were involved. Police are urging Clark to turn himself in. - (Black-on-white)

Police Search For (dangerous mottled black) Murderer Who Killed White Delivery Driver - hiding out in Atlanta
Thomas ChildsRodney Talbo SheltonYEADON, Pa. -- Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a North Carolina man in a murder case that made headlines nearly a year ago in Delaware County. Rodney Talbo Shelton, 37, of Elizabeth City, N.C., is being sought for the June 9, 2015 shooting death of 63-year-old Thomas Childs of Aston. "He's dangerous, he's a murderer, and we're asking you to just tell the authorities where he's at and let us do our job," said Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan. Investigators say Childs, a deliveryman, was standing near his truck on a loading dock at Ridgeway Industries along the 6200 block of Baltimore Avenue in Yeadon when he robbed and shot. "He was killed for probably less than $20," said Whelan. The murder weapon, a nine millimeter handgun, and the victim's cell phone, were found in the nearby Fernwood Cemetery. Investigators from the ATF traced the handgun to its owner in North Carolina. That person allegedly admitted to giving Shelton the weapon within days of his arrival in the area. Shelton is known to visit the region, investigators say, noting he has relatives here and a girlfriend with his child. "He admitted to her that he killed Mr. Childs, that the robbery had gone bad, that he believed Mr. Childs was resisting at the time and he shot him," Whelan said. "This won't bring Thomas Childs back," said Mayor Rohan Hepkins. "But at least this would bring a measure of closure to this heinous act." Shelton is described to be light-skinned with freckles with tattoos on his neck and head. He is six feet tall weighing approximately 205 pounds, with brown eyes, and black hair. His most predominate tattoo is of a spider-web that spans across the top of his head. Shelton is considered to be armed and dangerous. A reward of up to $20,000 is being administered by Citizens Crime Commission, with information leading to the whereabouts, arrest and conviction of Shelton. - (Black-on-white)
