Colonial Heights mom just diagnosed with cancer was robbed at gunpoint by three blacks Va. - A Colonial Heights mom went through a double mastectomy two weeks ago and last Wednesday doctors told her they didn’t catch the cancer in time. Rape charge against accused ‘black Hitler’ dropped A Manhattan judge dismissed a rape charge Tuesday against a self-proclaimed “black Hitler” accused of torturing his grandson’s nanny for three days. Sherman Gamble, 54, of Manhattan was busted last March when the woman told cops he raped her, held her captive for several days, beat her, choked her and shoved a newspaper down her throat. ”There is no evidence that the defendant, either personally, or while acting in concert with another, engaged in sexual intercourse with the complaining witness,” wrote Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Jill Konviser in her decision to drop one of the top counts against Gamble. He still faces serious felony kidnapping, sex trafficking and promoting prostitution raps for the sick act. “I am going to kill you,” he allegedly bellowed at the woman during the March attack. “I am the black Hitler.” |

Site set up to help widow of White Marine killed by black in Lexington shooting LEXINGTON, Ky. - Police are still searching for a man involved in a shooting Friday night that left a Marine dead and his wife injured. Friends say 26-year-old Jonathan Price and his wife were out celebrating his wife's birthday at Austin City Saloon on Woodhill Drive in Lexington on Friday, but the celebrations took a tragic turn as the couple walked through the parking lot back to their car. Lexington Police say around 1:30 a.m. the two were approached by a gunman who asked them for money and then friends say the unthinkable happened. "They had guns to their heads, shots rang out. Then he went to try and protect her and he was shot in the back," said family friend Pam Newton. Jonathan died a short time later at UK hospital where we're told his wife is recovering from non life-threatening injuries. The couple, who was from Versailles, was getting ready to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary. "We were at his wedding last August and amazed at how crazy in love he was with his new bride. So excited about his new life together with her," said family friend Roger Newton. As they come to terms with this unthinkable tragedy, loved ones now want to know who is behind this random and senseless act of violence that took away a son, a husband and a best friend to many. "Hit us really hard because we knew him his whole life and watched him grow up and we're so proud of the type of young man he became," said Roger Newton. The victim identified the shooter as a black male with dreadlocks, and a white t-shirt. A gofundme.com site has been set up in Megan Price's name with a goal of raising $5,000 by her friends. Daycare shut down, black teacher arrested after White child burned HALL COUNTY, Ga. -- The state ordered a daycare center to shut down on Friday, declaring that children there are in imminent danger. The order stems from the investigation of the daycare, Discovering Basics and the arrest of one of the daycare center's teachers on a felony charge of child cruelty. It's the latest in the case of a Hall County toddler who was severely burned last week. On Friday, sheriff's investigators backed up the mom's story that the child was burned while he was at the daycare the previous Friday, June 13. For sheriff's investigators, there is no doubt about what happened to 16-month-old Damon Gaddis, and where it happened to him. "These injuries did occur at the daycare," said Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes, "And, more specifically, they occurred shortly after he arrived at the daycare" that morning. Damon somehow suffered second- and third-degree burns, from scalding water. He is facing multiple surgeries. At about 12:30 Friday, June 20, the Sheriff arrested Damon's teacher, Eddye Pittmon, 55, accusing her of one felony count of child cruelty in the first degree for not getting Damon treatment for the burns right away -- or ever. - (Black-on-white) |
