Black maintenance man sexually assaulted patient at retirement home NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - A 48-year-old man was in court accused of sexually assaulting a patient at a retirement home where he formerly worked as a maintenance worker. Nathaniel J. Richardson was charged with four counts of first-degree assault and criminal sexual conduct. Richardson was arrested on Thursday. Between April and June of this year, Richardson entered the room of an 80-year-old patient at the Twin Oaks Villa Assisted Living in North Charleston and sexually assaulted the patient. Richardson, who was a hired maintenance worker at the center at the time, entered the victim's bedroom while she was asleep and placed his genitals on her lower body. The victim then woke and kicked Richardson off her bed. Investigators say the victim then told her daughter and police. |
Black boyfriend, Harve L. Johnson, 26, beat the toddler to death with a video game controller - Scheduled for execution York County Judge Michael E. Bortner rejected condemned killer Harve Johnson's emergency motion for a stay of execution, stating that the motion gave him nothing to consider. Johnson, 32, was convicted of first-degree murder on Nov. 13, 2009 for the fatal April 2008 beating of 2-year-old Darisabel Baez. Gov. Tom Corbett signed his death warrant July 18 for an execution date of Sept. 10. |

Cops: (White) Doylestown loan officer killed, dismembered by black pimp, 2 prostitutes A Northeast Philadelphia man who worked in Doylestown as a loan officer was killed by two prostitutes and a man in a robbery gone bad, police said Thursday. Philadelphia police said Frank Zarzycki, 40, had gone to a house of prostitution Aug. 26. Capt. James Clark of the city homicide unit said Angel Weston, 21, Stephenie Foulke, 22, and Keith Tolbert, 34, decided to rob him and ended up killing him. While the two women spoke with Zarzycki in the living room, police said, Tolbert, who lived in the apartment, attacked him. Police said Zarzycki was stunned with a Taser-type weapon, then beaten and strangled to death in the living room of the apartment at 220 S. 11th St. Police believe Tolbert then dismembered Zarzycki’s body in the apartment’s bathroom. - (Black-on-white) |

3 in custody following double-shooting on Althea St. MONTGOMERY, AL - The Montgomery Police Department now has three suspects in custody in connection with the August 28 shooting of two people on Althea Street. Investigators say 18-year-old Aryel McWhorter and 17-year-old Karli Paul were taken into custody on September 3 and charged with one count each of second degree assault as well as attempted murder and three counts of first degree burglary. The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested a third suspect on August 30. Telvin Stone, 21, now faces one count of second degree assault, attempted murder, first degree burglary and three counts of first degree robbery. |
Black Teenager accused of raping 4-year-old girl at N. Charleston home NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - A teenager is accused of raping a 4-year-old girl at a home in North Charleston. The North Charleston Police Department charged Myron Nevarez on Thursday with criminal sexual conduct with a minor. In the early morning hours of Aug. 1, police responded to Trident Medical Center in reference to a sexual assault of a 4-year-old girl. The victim's mother told investigators that she and her daughter live at a home on Dorchester Road with Nevarez and his mother. According to the victim's mother, she left her daughter with Nevarez and his mother to go to the store, and when she returned, her daughter approached her and said "her bottom" was hurting. |
Officers shoot suspected black gunman who raped four women after short chase Law enforcement officers captured a man Friday afternoon after a high-speed chase and shootout on Highway 301 just north of I-4. The man is suspected of several armed rapes and robberies in the north Tampa area. Shots were exchanged between officers and Charlie Christopher Bates, 24, after the car he was in crashed during the chase. Bates was on the run after a series of home invasions Thursday night and Friday early morning, near USF. Officials said Bates fired shots, raped four women, and forced some 20 people at a football game-watching party into a bedroom. |
St. Louis County black gets prison for attack posted on Facebook CLAYTON, Mo. -- A St. Louis County man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for an attack that he posted on Facebook. 22-year-old Walter Worthan was sentenced last week for the sexual-humiliation attack that was recorded on cell phone cameras, then posted. A jury convicted Worthan in May of two counts each of felonious restraint and sexual exploitation of a minor, along with misdemeanor assault. Three other co-defendants are awaiting trial. Police say the men beat two teens and sexually humiliated them over several hours in October 2011 at Worthan’s home in Northwoods. |
Woman abducted outside Jacksonville library, raped; black arrested Police discovered the victim was not home and began checking the phone number used to call the victim’s daughter. They connected the phone to an address, then found a sport utility vehicle, according to a police report. After stopping the SUV, police found the victim and Alphonso Haynes Jr., 49. Haynes was charged with kidnaping and sexual battery and is being held on $175,000 bail. Police believe the victim’s lack of understanding English contributed to her being a target. |
Knoxville black charged with rape, kidnapping; was once on death row A Knoxville man is being held on a $1 million bond after he was charged with the sexual assault of his girlfriend. Arthur Copeland, 39, was arrested without incident just before midnight Wednesday. Knoxville police say Copeland's girlfriend reported being held at gunpoint and threatened Monday morning as he raped her. The 30-year-old victim was treated for injuries at a local hospital. Copeland faces two counts of aggravated rape, and one count each of aggravated assault and especially aggravated kidnapping. |
Columbus black pleads guilty to robbery, sexual battery COLUMBUS, Miss - A Columbus man has pleaded guilty to sexual battery and robbery involving an incident at a laundromat in the city last year. Myron Sewell, 24, entered guilty pleas to the charges during a hearing Tuesday. Sewell was arrested following an investigation into a reported sexual assault at the Double S Laundromat in January of 2012. Investigators say Sewell had an orange shirt over his face when he approached a woman and pointed a gun at her demanding money. He then dragged the woman into a restroom where he physically and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint. |

Dallas Chief of Police David Brown said that Dallas and Arlington police officers took 29-year-old Alan Mason into custody at about 3 a.m. Friday at an apartment complex in Arlington, where the man lives. |
Bond set at $75,000 for black woman charged with raping man CHICAGO - Cierra Ross allegedly pulled up to the man and offered to give him a ride. The 33-year-old man was allegedly held at gunpoint and forced to have sex with a woman in the backseat of a car after the woman's female companion offered him a ride on the Near North Side over the summer. The man begged one of his tormentors -- who demanded he place his hands on her breasts and buttocks during the July 26 attack -- to stop. . He eventually escaped, running out of the car naked from the waist down and into a taxi where a cabbie helped him and drove him home to the suburbs, Pillsbury said. |

Update: Black with Tatooed Face Now Also Charged With Four Murders Nikko Jenkins has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Andrea Kruger, Curtis Bradford, Juan Uribe-Pena and Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz. "Jenkins was an indiscriminate killer since being released from prison on July 30th," said Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer, who added during Wednesday's news conference that law enforcement continues to look at other individuals who may have been involved in the murders. The bodies of 26-year-old Juan Uribe-Pena and 29-year-old Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz were found in a pickup in Spring Lake Park near 18th and F streets on August 11th; 22-year-old Curtis Bradford was found near 18th and Clark on August 19th and 33-year-old Andrea Kruger was found at North 168th and Fort streets on August 21st. All had been shot to death. "He crossed racial, gender and city boundaries to commit his murders," Schmaderer said. |

Taurean Williams is out on bail as he battles the third case, an allegation that he sexually assaulted a transgender woman in a building in East Harlem on April 1, 2012. Police say he punched her in the face repeatedly, pepper-sprayed her, tried to silence her with a scarf and forced her to the ground to rape her as she pleaded for him to stop. |
Black suspected as Cleveland serial rapist and murderer sentenced for Akron rape CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A 38-year-old rapist was sentenced to 11 years in prison Tuesday for a crime that led police to identify him as the suspect in a string of unsolved Cleveland-area rapes and a murder. Summit County Common Pleas Judge Judy Hunter gave Larry McGowan the maximum sentence and placed him into the most serious classification for sex offenders, which requires he register his address every three months for the rest of his life. Earlier this summer, McGowan pleaded guilty to raping a woman in her home in November 2012. It was after that woman's report that Akron police arrested McGowan, collected his DNA and entered it into databases, which identified him as a suspect in multiple rapes in Cleveland reported between 1996 and 2010 – and the 1997 rape and murder of Maxine Pratt. At least two women reported being raped after McGowan was released from prison in 2010 and 2012, when he was serving time for arson and burglary. |

Brown, 42, was found guilty May 17 of two counts sodomy, two counts oral copulation, one count false imprisonment, one count kidnapping, and one count kidnapping with the intent to sodomize. |
Police: Black Former Pgh. mayoral candidate calls officers ‘white devils’ during arrest PITTSBURGH — A former Pittsburgh mayoral candidate was arrested Tuesday night after police said he barged into a neighbor’s home, threatened the victim and then tried fighting officers. Investigators said A.J. Richardson barged into his neighbor's home in Sheraden, threatened and harrassed a man inside and then refused to leave the victim's porch when authorities arrived. A.J. Richardson was drunk, resisted arrest and yelled racial slurs when officers responded to Bergman Street. Officials said a large crowd had gathered in the area when police arrived and Richardson tried to instigate the crowd to “fight back” against police. Richardson also called police “white devils.” “I’m not sure what the dispute was, but it seemed like it was about racism,” said witness David Lineburg. “It was chaos. A bunch of emotions." |

Witnesses said Christopher Gardner flashed passersby near the Tower of the Americas around 4 p.m. After a brief search, police found Gardner on the upper level of the parking lot near the tower, jumping on top of cars. He was surrounded and taken into custody. Gardner was charged with Indecency-Child Exposure, a third-degree felony. He was also charged with resisting arrest. Gardner is also accused of grabbing a couple of children. |

Black suspect admits to strangling White Kilgore woman to 'increase her high' Kilgore, Texas — According to the arrest report from the Kilgore Police Department, Willie Clarence Sims admitted to the choking of Amanda Woods. Sims confessed to accidently strangling Woods when she asked him to choke her while she smoked crack because it increased her high. Sims then said he used a belt to choke Woods and when she collapsed and died, Sims began to panic. He put Woods in her car and drove her to the area where she was found on FM 349. Sims then went to a friend's house and called police. When he first spoke to police, he gave several different accounts of the story before finally confessing. Mom of Brunswick toddler identifies black defendant as killer The mother of the Brunswick toddler shot between the eyes while in his stroller identified the 18-year-old defendant as her baby’s killer during dramatic testimony Tuesday that extended well into the evening. Sherry West said she was certain De’Marquise Elkins, 18, was the killer. “He was standing 2 feet away from me,” she testified, recalling March 21, the day her 13-month-old baby, Antonio Santiago, died. Elkins, charged with malice murder, felony murder, child cruelty, attempted armed robbery and multiple counts of aggravated assault, is on trial in Cobb County along with his mother. Karimah Elkins is accused of lying to police and throwing the .22-caliber handgun used to shoot the baby into a salt-water pond north of Brunswick. Dominique Lang testified last week that he witnessed Elkins shoot the toddler though he admitted telling more than a dozen lies to investigators. |

High school employee hurt in Raleigh melee - ethnic intimidation RALEIGH — Four teenagers were arrested Friday for a fight outside Southeast Raleigh High School that left two students and a female school administrator injured, according to arrest warrants and a police official. School employee Abbey Weispfenningwas struck while trying to break up the fight, said Raleigh police spokesman Jim Sughrue. The other victims were Oscar Javier Rosa-Maldonado and Jose Jesus Solis-Aguilar, who were repeatedly punched and kicked, according to the warrants. Those arrested included Daquan Wesly Hough, 18, Darius Josiah Terrell Wright, 18, Torrey Terrell Smith, 18, and Alquon Radeek Brodie, 17. The teens were each charged with these misdemeanors: two counts of assault inflicting serious injury, two counts of ethnic intimidation and one count of assault on a school employee. Plus, Hough was charged with public disturbance for “his role in instigating the incident,” Sughrue said. |
KC black man charged with sex crimes involving 6-year-old girl KANSAS CITY, MO - A Kansas City man has been charged in a sex case that allegedly involves a 6-year-old girl. Johnell Slayton, 36, faces felony charges of first-degree statutory sodomy and first-degree statutory rape. According to court records, police were dispatched to a home in the 400 block of Highland Avenue Saturday evening where the child and her mother stated that Slayton attempted to have sex with the girl. The girl told police she was inside the house when Slayton took her by the hand and led her to the bathroom. That was when Slayton allegedly assaulted the child, and attempted to have sex with her, according to court documents. |

Police say Duku and another man shoved the elderly woman to the sidewalk two weeks ago after she attended Sunday church services in Homestead. Duku ran off with her purse. |
Memphis man accused of strangling, raping ex-girlfriend A Memphis man is in jail and being accused of raping his ex-girlfriend. According to police, Miguell Arnett was following his ex girlfriend. He then grabbed her by her hair and arm, forced her into a field, strangled, and raped her. The victim now has a broken rib and several bruises. Miguell Arnett is charged with aggravated rape. |

Minnesota teen cheerleader pleads guilty to prostitution charges A former high school cheerleader pleaded guilty to three prostitution-related charges in which she admitted to placing online sex ads soliciting a fellow cheerleader. Police say Montia Parker, 18, admitted that last spring she had several conversations and exchanged text messages with a 16-year-old fellow cheerleader at Hopkins High School about how the girl could earn money through prostitution. The victim agreed and Parker placed ads on Backpage.com that generated two calls, one of which led to a $60 transaction for sex. |
Police: Man charged with animal cruelty after slamming dog to ground LINCOLN HEIGHTS, Ohio —A man has been jailed on animal cruelty charges in Lincoln Heights. Police were sent to the 1300 block of Byrd Street on Saturday. According to court documents, Lee Peterson picked up the family dog, a female pit bull mix, and slammed the dog to the ground. When officers checked the dog for injuries, she pulled away. Police said the dog had blood on her neck area, but no cut was visible at the time. Police noticed Peterson had blood on his shorts, but he told police the stains came from his vehicle. |
Cal U footballer one of two arrested in assaults PITTSBURGH – A California University of Pennsylvania football player has been suspended from the team after he was arrested over the weekend. Claudy Mathieu, 20, of Philadelphia, is being charged with assault. Police arrested him just after midnight on Saturday near the Subway restaurant on Third Street in California. Mathieu allegedly punched another man, which knocked him to the ground and then continued to attack him. Devante L. Brooks, 21, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident about 11 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Kwik Fill, Third and Wood streets. |

Two young men will have a jury trial in September on allegations they robbed a Fort Campbell soldier and shot him in April 2012. Giovanne Treymane Johnson, 19, and Rakeem Rashan Jones, 18, are both charged with first-degree murder, felony murder and aggravated robbery in connection with the shooting death of Spc. Taylor Hotzoglou. Hotzoglou, 22, was shot multiple times on April 28 after giving two teenagers a ride. Hotzoglou was found by a passerby dead in his car on the shoulder of Victory. Memphis man behind bars after a mother sees a Facebook video A Memphis man is behind bars after a mother called police over a video posted on Facebook. 22-year-old Travis Williams was identified in the video having sex with a 15-year old. The video was posted back in July. A woman recognized the teen as her daughter. Williams was arrested Friday. His bond is set at $60,000. |
Cops seek man suspected in Tomkins Cove rapes STONY POINT — Police are focusing on a 24-year-old local man with Queens ties in the knifepoint rapes of two women encountered in an Internet chat room. An arrest warrant charges Robert Ellison with raping and robbing the women Aug. 21 at the Prospect Apartments on Route 9W, Lt. Keith Williams said Wednesday. Ellison lured the two women to the Tomkins Cove apartment complex where he has been living for several months, Williams said. “They initially met online in some Internet Web page or chat room,” Williams said. “They then had a telephonic conversation.” Williams said Ellison chose a vacant apartment in the two-story building at the complex to meet the women, who are from out of state and in their 20s. |
Black man jailed for rape of elderly woman, burglary HOWARD COUNTY, AR - A south Arkansas man is in jail, accused of breaking into a home and raping an elderly woman. The Howard County Sheriff's Office arrested Adrian Dewayne Wooten, 39, of Mineral Springs, Arkansas. Investigators arrested Wooten at the Tyson plant in Nashville, Arkansas. Wooten tried to avoid officers for several hours at the plant, but workers at the plant helped authorities apprehend him, investigators said. The alleged incident happened on August 9 in Tollette, Arkansas. Authorities accuse Wooten of breaking into a home and sexually-assaulting an elderly female. Wooten is currently being held in the Howard County jail. He is charged with aggravated residential burglary and rape. |

Liggins, 25, was booked into the Oklahoma County jail Saturday night where he's being held on an $8,000 bond. According to jail records, authorities charged Liggins with domestic abuse in the presence of a minor child -- a felony. |
Tulsa Police: 3 Members Of Black All-Female Robbery Gang Jailed TULSA, Oklahoma - Police have arrested three women they say are part of an armed robbery gang. The all-female gang members are believed to be behind several violent robberies including the kidnapping of a mother and her small children. Detectives say the women also robbed Habitat for Hope and may be involved in a Family Dollar store robbery where employees were held at gunpoint. Tiffany Givens was booked into the Tulsa jail Friday night on complaints of armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon and kidnapping. Police say Marie McCullum was booked in on Thursday for trafficking cocaine and possession of controlled drugs. Robbery with a dangerous weapon complaints were added later. A third woman, Kimberly Chenevert, is being held in the Tulsa County jail on a number of complaints including robbery with a firearm and kidnapping. |

Fresno jury convicts black Eddie Ricky Nealy of raping and murdering White 14-year-old Jody Lynn Wolfe 28 years ago Career criminal Eddie Ricky Nealy was found guilty Wednesday of raping and murdering 14-year-old Jody Lynn Wolfe of Fresno 28 years ago -- a cold-case crime that could lead to his execution. Nealy, 56, sat silently and showed no reaction as the verdict was announced in Fresno County Superior Court. The same jury will return on Tuesday to begin the next phase of the trial -- to decide whether Nealy should die by lethal injection or spend the rest of his life behind bars. Black 18-year-old student charged in Winston-Salem school shooting WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- An 18-year-old has been charged with shooting and wounding a fellow student at a North Carolina high school. Police say Christopher Lamont Richardson Jr. was arrested Friday and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of firearm on school property, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, and discharging a firearm within city limits. Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 2:30 p.m. Friday at Carver High School in Winston-Salem. Police say the school had been conducted a fire drill when a school resource officer heard shots fired. A 15-year-old student was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Richardson's bond was set at $50,000. |

Black Teen Charged with Homosexual Domestic-Related Murder in Landover The Prince George’s County Police Department arrested a suspect for the murder of 20-year-old Avery Joshua Lewis. The suspect is identified as 17-year-old TyLee Lindale Dodson of the 8100 block of Allendale Drive in Landover. Dodson is being charged as an adult. On August 31, 2013, at about 12:30 am, patrol officers were called on the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, patrol officers found Lewis outside suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later. The preliminary investigation reveals Lewis and Dodson got into an argument inside of Dodson's home which turned physical. Lewis eventually left the home. Dodson followed him outside and the fighting continued. During that fight, Dodson stabbed Lewis. Dodson and Lewis were in a romantic relationship. |
Tattoo leads to life in prison for man in hot oil attack during Palm Bay home invasion PALM BAY, Fla. - With “STATE VS PARKER” tattooed on his back, he’s no stranger to police and prosecutors. The man convicted of leading a home invasion in which a Palm Bay woman and her 15-year-old daughter were scalded with hot oil was found guilty of several felony crimes and will spend the rest of his life in prison. Leaundrea D. Parker, 29, was found guilty of armed burglary of a dwelling with a firearm, aggravated battery with great bodily harm, aggravated child abuse by aggravated battery and grand theft of a motor vehicle. Parker was already in prison on unrelated charges. |
Black woman Mona Nelson found guilty in murder of 12-year-old White boy Jonathan Foster HOUSTON - Mona Nelson, a welder and former boxer was found guilty of Capital Murder Tuesday morning, and sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole for the murder of a Houston boy. Nelson, 47, was convicted abducting and killing 12-year-old Jonathan Foster on December 24, 2010. Foster's badly burned body was found four days later wrapped in carpet in a drainage ditch. Nelson declined a jury trial and elected to let State District Judge Jeannine Barr decide guilt and punishment in the case. The verdict came after about two weeks of testimony. Nelson was not facing the death penalty because prosecutors did not seek it. A surveillance video from a business in the 1500 block of Childress Street recorded Nelson's truck pulling up alongside a drainage ditch, and the driver getting out to dump a trash container the night the boy disappeared. Black Neighbor charged with killing White Frederick woman held without bail A man charged with murder in the death of a Frederick woman will remain behind bars after he waived his bail review hearing Wednesday in Frederick County District Court. Frederick County sheriff’s deputies arrested Antwine Dwayne Snowden, 51, after a brief standoff.. He is being held without bail at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. Snowden faces first- and second-degree murder charges in the strangulation death of Gloria Carol Fitzpatrick, 61, whose body was found April 22 in her Rooks Court apartment. The two were neighbors. White Officer Killed Serving Warrant In Catonsville Had On Bulletproof Vest; More Details Released About Black Suspect CATONSVILLE, Md. — In the line of duty. A Baltimore County police officer shot and killed will be laid to rest on Saturday. The man who shot him is now dead, and more information is emerging about this suspect. The 36-year-old police officer had been with the tactical division for 10 years. And still, it only took one day and one bullet to end his life. A wreath remains at the sight of the Fallen Hero Memorial in Baltimore County just 24 hours after police officer Jason Schneider was shot and killed at a home on Roberts Avenue in Catonsville. It was 5:30 a.m. Wednesday when Schneider and his team entered the home. Inside, 25-year-old Tevon Smith, armed with a gun, started shooting. Why Smith began shooting remains to be answered. White woman, 67, brutally raped by black who barged into her home HOUSTON - A 67- year-old grandmother was brutally raped inside of her apartment. The rape victim in this case is described as a very sweet-hearted little lady who volunteers her time rescuing homeless cats. According to the grandmother, a black male wearing a navy blue do-rag and carrying a backpack knocked on her door, shoved her inside and attacked her, raping her multiple times. The victim said while the man was sexually assaulting her he kept telling her, "I like old white women, I've been watching you." Ever since the attack in May, the victim and her neighbor say women all over the apartment complex have been living in fear as well knowing the rapist could come back. However, the accused rapist, John Hayward Milstead is in the Harris County Jail facing charges of aggravated sexual assault of an elderly person. Black Charged With Homosexual Assault At Downtown Park CHICAGO – A West Side man has been charged with sexually assaulting another man in a downtown park on Wednesday night. James D. Starkey, 36, was charged with aggravated sexual assault/threatening life, police said. Starkey allegedly assaulted a 20-year-old man at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of South Wacker Drive, police said. The victim was taken in good condition to Rush University Medical Center, police said. Starkey, of the 2700 block of West Harrison, is expected to appear in bond court Friday, according to police. |
Black 1-year-old shot in chest with BB-gun by boy's father, dead ATLANTA - An 18-month-old toddler was killed after being shot in the chest with a BB rifle on Friday morning. Atlanta police said the toddler's mother called 911 just after 9 a.m. to report her child was shot. After the shooting, the child was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he later died. The child's uncle Willie Dickerson said the toddler's name was Jesstin Sellers and the child's father's name is Jesse Sellers. Dickerson said Jesse Sellers was playing with a BB rifle, trying to scare his son, when he pulled the trigger. Dickerson said Jesse Sellers didn't realize the gun was loaded and that he said it was an accident. |
POLICE: Special needs child found covered in feces and vomit LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville woman has been charged with criminal abuse after police say a special needs child was found in feces and vomit. According to arrest reports, police were conducting an investigation at the Beecher Terrace housing complex shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, when 23-year-old Angelica Tutt began causing a disturbance. Police say she was "being very belligerent and cursing at officers" and trying to interrupt the investigation. Her actions were drawing a crowd, according to the arrest reports. When police arrested her, she was allegedly throwing her arms around and kicking at officers. At one point, police say, she spit in an officer's face and headbutted that officer. She was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with a government process, third degree assault and resisting arrest. |
Black Man Arrested For Theft From National Civil Rights Museum Copper theft has become a big problem with homes, businesses and even churches being hit hard. Police say one man decided to target the National Civil Rights Museum. Larry Cole is charged with theft from a building. A security guard noticed someone was in the new construction area of the museum Thursday. When police arrived they saw a ladder leading to a second floor of the new addition. Eventually, police say they found Cole holding a box filled with copper wire and other building materials. |
