(White) Grandfather, 69, shot dead after opening door for 20-year-old (black) man who said he was being pursued
Devon Derrick Parker Thomas SonnenbergA 69-year-old Minnesota man has been shot dead after opening his door to a man who claimed he was being chased. Thomas Sonnenberg called 911 at 11:46am Friday for 20-year-old Devon Derrick Parker who police say told him he was being pursued by assailants with baseball bats. When police arrived at the home on the 3700 block of North Aldrich Avenue in north Minneapolis, they found Sonnenberg dead. Parker was apprehended inside the house. Police spokesperson John Elder earlier indicated that Parker and Sonnenberg were acquaintances, but Sonnenberg's daughter Raina Baldwin says that was not the case. 'No. Absolutely not,' she told the Mail Online through tears. 'He thought he was helping someone in need, that's why he let him into the house,' she said. Baldwin said she believes Parker was attempting to rob the house but did not realize that her mother was also in the home. Sonnenberg answered the door to Parker begging to come in because he was in danger. He let the young man inside and closed the door before calling 911. It was then that Parker shot him in the head. Thomas Sonnenberg's wife Elaine Sonnenberg, 68, was in the kitchen at the time of the shooting. 'When the murderer found out she was here, he threw her around and choked her, and he was going to rape her,' Baldwin told Mail Online. - (Black-on-white)

It was a set up. Smulls wanted to rob the store and took along a 15-year-old friend to help commit what became a far worse crime: Honickman was shot to death. Honickman's wife, Florence, was also shot, but survived by faking death in a pool of her own blood until the assailants left. Late Wednesday night, Smulls was put to death with a lethal dose of pentobarbital. Florence Honickman spoke to the media after the execution, flanked by her adult son and daughter. She questioned why it took 22 years of appeals before Smulls was put to death. Darion Marcus AguilarDarion Marcus AguilarDarion Marcus AguilarBrianna Benlolo Tyler JohnsonIn the recent Mall Of Columbia shooting, a black teenager walked into a mall with a shotgun, killed two white people his own age, possibly because he'd been rejected by a white girl in favor of a white man. Here's Darion Marcus Aguilar (pictured at left). This is a photo of one of the victims, Brianna Benlolo (pictured at right) and here's the other deceased white victim, Tyler Johnson: (pictured at right). Eric Holder has once again come out with his line about the US being a "Nation of Cowards" about race. This is true. The headlne above contains facts that won't even appear in most MSM stories, and will never appear in a headline. And all the stories will be about gun control, mental illness, depression, and metal detectors in malls. None of them will be about the real issue: that for a white girl to get into a relationship with a black or Hispanic teenager may be easier than getting out. There are young women every year who don't get out alive. That's a "Talk" worth having with your daughter. - (Black-on-white)

Russo-Carriero’s family sued a variety of entities after the murder, culminating in Thursday’s trial, which is expected to last through next week. The prosecutor read a series of texts exchanged between Berrincha and Grant the day before she died that revealed he had hit her, the Hartford Courant reported. He called the relationship "toxic" and said they kept the relationship secret. Grant reportedly went to Berrincha's home to convince her to go on vacation with him and when she refused, a struggle ensued. She pulled a knife, he pulled it away and took out his own - a stainless steel folding knife that he had brought - and stabbed her with it. - (Black-on-white)

(Black) Man indicted for negligent homicide in his (white) girlfriend's death during flood
Willie Brite JrCynthia Jean McKeeLOCKHART, Texas - A Caldwell County man wanted for criminally negligent homicide and a DWI was arrested and taken into custody. Willie Brite Jr. was indicted by a grand jury on charges that stemmed from the drowning death of a woman during the Halloween floods. Authorities say Willie Brite Jr. deliberately drove his truck onto a barricaded, flooded road in Lockhart on Nov. 2, 2013. The low lying crossing on Polonia Road was covered by several feet of rushing water, and Brite's truck was quickly fully submerged. Brite made it out of the truck as it started taking on water heavily, but his passenger, Cynthia Jean McKee, did not . For weeks, search crews looked for McKee, slow receding waters hindered efforts to locate her body. On Nov. 12, 2013, her body was recovered in the creek. - (Black-on-white)

Black who murdered White Florida trooper should be executed this time
Paul Augustus HowellJimmy FulfordTALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- A South Florida drug trafficker convicted of killing a state trooper with a pipe bomb is once again scheduled to die. Gov. Rick Scott on Friday set Paul Augustus Howell's new execution date for Feb. 26, according to a letter Scott sent to the warden of Florida State Prison. Scott signed a death warrant for Howell last January, but the Atlanta-based 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily blocked the execution. Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi certified on Wednesday that the stay had been lifted. Howell was convicted of killing Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Jimmy Fulford with a bomb placed inside a gift-wrapped microwave oven 22 years ago. Authorities said the booby-trapped package was intended to kill two women in the Panhandle town of Marianna because they knew too much about a drug-related murder in Broward County. - (Black-on-white)

Two (Black) Brothers Convicted of Murdering (White) Wendy Fisher
Wendy FisherTrayon Washington and Pat BrownAfter more than three hours of deliberation, a jury finds both Trayon Washington and Pat Brown guilty for murdering Wendy Fisher. It's a verdict Fisher's family was hoping for. "We're so glad to have justice for our daughter and I believe she is up there in heaven just saying, 'Way to go momma, alright, alright dad, yeah,'" said Carol Fisher, Fisher's mother. "Each and every one of them came in here and told the truth and the right verdict was reached," said Jennifer Wright. Wright prosecuted the case. She says there was no one key piece of evidence that lead to the conviction, but rather the willingness of everyone involved to do their part. "I was pretty difficult. I didn't think I was going to be able to get up there and look them in the face but I did it and I'm glad I did it," said Madeleine North, Fisher's daughter. Fisher's daughter and her boyfriend Robert Russo witnessed the murder. As Fisher and Pat Brown began to argue, Russo came to her defense and the argument escalated. He says knowing the gun was aimed at him is hard to live with. "For the longest time, you blame yourself. If the gun was pointed at me? Were those bullets meant for me? And you question your role in the whole situation and what you could've done differently. But in the end, I just gotta tell myself it wasn't me. I'm not the one who had the gun. I'm not the one who pulled the trigger," said Russo. - (Black-on-white)
