Police: (Black) Delaware Woman Arrested In Hit-And-Run That Injured 12-Year-Old (White) Boy  NEW CASTLE, Del. ) — New Castle County Police have made an arrest in a hit-and-run that injured a 12-year-old boy. Police say 55-year-old Marsha Williams turned herself in Tuesday evening. Police say Williams struck the young boy with her vehicle on Memorial Drive in Overview Gardens on Dec. 5. Detectives were able to locate the vehicle and determined Williams was behind the wheel at the time of the incident. The boy suffered multiple broken bones in the hit-and-run. Williams has been charged with leaving the scene of a collision resulting in injury and failure to report a collision resulting in injury. The Los Angeles Superior Court jury deliberated just over a day before finding Ezeoma Chigozie Obioha guilty of first-degree murder for the July 5, 2015, death of Carrie Melvin, along with the special circumstance allegation of murder for financial gain and an allegation that he personally and intentionally discharged a shotgun. Melvin, 30, was shot to death while walking with her boyfriend near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and McCadden Place. Roanoke judge imposes 40-year sentence for (black man named 'White') in fatal stabbing (of his White employer)  A Roanoke man convicted of fatally stabbing his former boss was given a 40-year sentence this week for second-degree murder. After a two-day trial in August, jurors found Ronald Lamont White, 43, guilty of killing David Graham Bourhill last year in the basement of Bourhill’s northwest Roanoke home. Although the jury opted to find him guilty on a lesser count of second-degree murder — possibly indicating they felt his crime lacked premeditation — they nevertheless urged Judge Chris Clemens to impose the maximum punishment for that charge: four decades in prison. “I believe in the Lord,” White wrote. “My faith tells me that in His eyes I am forgiven because He knows in my heart. It was not my intention to cause my best friend’s death.” For most of 2015, White performed paid manual labor for Bourhill, 58, but in his trial testimony in August, White maintained they were more like friends than co-workers. He also acknowledged they’d had disagreements last fall, however, and admitted those tensions eventually rose to a peak. While the exact circumstances remain unclear, on Oct. 6, 2015, they clashed violently at Bourhill’s house. The next morning, White walked into the police station and told investigators he had done “something bad,” then led them to Bourhill’s residence where Bourhill’s body was found in the basement. The scene was chaotic and blood-spattered, evidence photographs showed. Some of Bourhill’s credit cards were scattered around his body, but there was no cash and no sign of a wallet. A medical examiner’s report said Bourhill was stabbed at least 17 times, including wounds that deeply penetrated his right orbital cavity, his left temple at the ear and two knife-punctures to his left cheek. One stab wound to his back ran 5 ½ inches deep, and another extended more than 6 inches into his chest, penetrating one of his lungs. The jury found Yisrael, 31, of Hazleton, guilty as charged on counts of first-degree murder, robbery, burglary, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse. As the jury foreman read the verdict, Yisrael lowered his head, looking down with his hands in front of his mouth. The verdict means Yisrael will spend the rest of his life in prison. He was ordered to serve life plus 174 to 348 months in state prison. Yisrael was accused of murdering Samuel Vacante, 52, who was shot in the back with his own .22-caliber rifle inside the garage of his home at 20 Coventry Road, Drums, on Aug. 31, 2015. Yisrael’s motive, according to prosecutors, was to allow his girlfriend, 53-year-old Lisa Vacante, to gain sole possession of the family’s house, which was being sold as part of the couple’s impending divorce. Prosecutors say Yisrael wrapped the body in a tent, loaded it into Samuel Vacante’s Kia Cadenza and hauled it out to Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, where he ditched it in a clearing off Petrarch Trail. Assistant District Attorney Daniel Zola, however, said the evidence showed that Yisrael had been on a calculated hunt the day he killed Samuel Vacante. But things hit a snag early on because the victim was on the phone with his girlfriend when Yisrael shot him center-mass in the back “like a coward,” piercing his spine and heart, Zola said. - (Black-on-white) |

Recent Somali Muslim Migrant Charged With Criminal Sexual Conduct in Minnesota A 22-year old Somali man who arrived in the United States in September faces charges of criminal sexual conduct, a felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison. “A Minneapolis man is being charged with criminal sexual conduct after being accused of raping a woman on a bus passing through Crookston Friday,” according to the Crookston Times. “Mohamed Harir Ayanle, 22, was released from the Northwest Regional Correction Center Monday on a $5,000 bond and on the condition that he does not leave Minnesota,” the Times reported.On September 17, Dahir Adan, a Somali refugee in his twenties, attacked ten people with a knife in a St. Cloud, Minnesota mall before he was shot and killed by an off duty police officer. On November 28, Abdul Razak Ali Artan, a Somali refugee said to be either 18 or 20, attacked eleven people with a car and then a knife on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio before he was shot and killed by a campus police officer. Suspect charged after allegedly shooting man in the face inside Waldo home KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 20-year-old man faces robbery, assault, and other felony charges in connection with an incident in which a man was shot in the face inside his home. Mustafa Ali is charged with 1st degree robbery, 1st degree assault, 1st degree burglary, and two counts of armed criminal action for his role in the incident. Court documents say Ali and another suspect entered the victim’s residence at 74th Terrace and Oak Street on the afternoon of Dec. 5. The victim told investigators he knew the suspects from high school. The suspects allegedly entered a room in which the victim was playing a video game and began taking items and putting them into a bag. Ali made demands of the victim, but the victim refused to comply and instead tried to tackle Ali. In the scuffle, Ali pulled a revolver from his waist and shot the victim in the face as he pistol whipped him. The victim said he immediately pretended to be dead. |

Anthony Stokes was handed down a sentence of 13 years and four months in prison. Halisi Uhuru was handed down a sentence of 12 years in prison for his role in the gang. Both men will each also have to pay an immediate $200 fine and will have to help pay what the gang owes in restitution, which totals $12,369.99. Of that, $400 will be paid to Quick's estate. That is the amount of money withdrawn from Quick's bank account during his abduction. Both Uhuru and Stokes were convicted in February 2016 for their roles in the 99 Goonz Syndikate, but not for Quick's murder. (Black) Greenville man accused of shooting (White) officers during traffic stop in Lavonia   LAVONIA, GA – A suspect is in custody after police say he shot two officers during a traffic stop Monday night in Lavonia. According to Lavonia Police Chief Bruce Carlisle, one officer was shot in the shoulder and the other was shot in the hand and leg. In a Facebook post, Lavonia Chamber of Commerce identified one of the victims as Capt. Michael Schulman. Both officers were taken to the hospital for their injuries. The officers were arresting the driver after pulling over a stolen car when the shooting happened, Chief Carlisle said. The shooting happened near the Zaxby’s restaurant. The suspect, 22-year-old Khari Anthony Dashaun Gordon, was captured sometime after 11 p.m., according to officials at the scene. He was found in the woods about two miles from the scene of the shooting. Gordon will be charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Gordon was out on bond for an attempted murder charge in Greenville County, according to court records. But when the victim, who has limited speech, takes out his cellphone to text a message to the man, the man steals his phone. In the process, a handgun falls from his clothes. He picks it up and at one point, aims it at the victim. "We do know that he is armed and dangerous," said Sgt. Enrique Garcia of the San Jose police. Video shows the victim making a daring attempt to recover his phone, but the suspect kicks him and gets away. San Jose police say its an outrageous crime. "For someone to take advantage of a physically handicapped individual," said Garcia. "And it's very evident that the victim is handicapped--you always wonder, what's the guy willing to do to someone else." The robbery happened on Sept. 5, just after 5 p.m. on Tuers Road. Police are releasing the video and a sketch of the suspect Monday to try and generate new leads. "We really need the public's help," Garcia said. "I hope the public gets as fired up as we are." Investigators said Monday 21-year-old Rachel Sophia Burden, 21-year-old Jessica Yasmyn Ontiveros and 24-year-old Anthony Rashad George were located and taken into custody by the U. S. Marshal Service's Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team on Dec. 8. The three were wanted in connection with the death of 46-year-old Brian Sample, whose body was found in the Le Méridien Dallas Hotel. Three people suspected in the death of a man found bound and beaten in a Dallas hotel room last month were arrested by U.S. Marshals in Las Vegas last Thursday, Dallas police say. Sample was found bound and suffering from severe physical injuries in room 1015 of the hotel. Police added that Sample's room had been ransacked and that some items were missing -- a large, undisclosed sum of money was found in Sample's hotel room safe. Fingerprints recovered at the scene were a match for both Burden and Ontiveros, police said. Investigators added that Sample had contacted Burden by phone and that her phone number was linked to a prostitution website and that Ontiveros had documentation verifying she was involved in prostitution. Police said two black men, one in all red and another in all black, were recorded on hotel surveillance video entering the hotel. On the video, police said, Burden can be seen talking with the (black) man in all black before he entered an elevator. Both men were later recorded exiting a stairwell and leaving the hotel. Authorities said she was 13 weeks pregnant at the time. Norwood stomped on Logan’s head and body while wearing work boots. Norwood did this, the documents say, while Logan’s four children, ages 9, 10, 12 and 13, were present in the apartment. She told police a neighbor woke her up to make sure everyone in the house, where her family has lived since the 1970s, was safe. Officers noticed brick in the back seat and called the State Fire Marshal's Office to investigate the fire as suspicious, a report states. |

Butler's mother, who cried throughout the hearing, at one point shouted, "My baby!" Wheeler-Weaver is being held on $1 million bail as the case goes to a grand jury. It wasn't immediately clear if he or his attorney had additional comments on the allegations Tuesday. Prosecutors say Weaver and Butler knew each other and spent time together at various points throughout the day before she was killed. Woman charged in connection to Salisbury restaurant shooting   SALISBURY, NC - A woman has been charged for failing to provide investigators with information connected to a shooting at Firewater Restaurant in Salisbury, police say. Sharod Mathis, 22, was fatally shot around 1:30 a.m. Dec. 4 in the parking lot near the Firewater Restaurant and Lounge. Police say the shooting is connected to another shooting that left 7-year-old A'yanna Allen dead. Allen was shot in her sleep around 4:30 that morning. Monday, police announced they charged 21-year-old Savannah Maria Queen with felony obstruction of justice. Police say Queen removed a gun from the crime scene, but repeatedly told investigators she never saw a gun. Queen was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center. |

The coroner identified the man as 35-year-old Waltki Cermoun Williams of Sumter. An autopsy is scheduled Monday morning for Williams in Newberry. Sumter Police's Public Information Officer, Tonyia McGirt, says officers were responding to a domestic disturbance call at the Sumter Mall around 9:30 Saturday night. We are told a woman was afraid to go outside the mall after her estranged boyfriend who threatened to kill her was seen outside pointing a gun at her car. (Black) Jackson woman charged in murder of disabled father - scalded to death  JACKSON, MS - Investigators with the Jackson Police Department are investigating the murder of a man, allegedly scalded to death by his daughter. On September 3, Jackson police responded to Reddix St. regarding a domestic disturbance call. When officers arrived they found that 55-year-old Diane Coleman had severely burned her father, 81-year-old Earl Coleman, with hot boiling water. He was taken to Merit Health and listed in serious condition. Coleman was arrested and taken to police headquarters where she was charged with domestic violence- aggravated assault. During the course of the investigation, police were unable to confirm the motive for Diane Coleman to burn her father. Officials say Earl Coleman suffered from several medical issues and was paralyzed. He was also confined to a wheelchair for mobility. |

94-year-old (White female) WWII veteran recovering after attack outside her Chicago home by a black thug  CHICAGO -- A 94-year-old grandmother who is a World War II veteran was still in pain Sunday night with broken ribs and a concussion she sustained from a brutal attack outside her home last week. "It hurts me to breath," said Josephine Regnier in an exclusive interview Sunday, a day after she was released from the hospital. Earlier Sunday, Olajuwon Claiborne, 26, of Chicago, was charged in her attack, which occurred 11:30 a.m. Wednesday outside her building in the 5100-block of South Long Avenue in the city's Garfield Ridge neighborhood. She was waiting for her daughter, Judy Dusk, to pick her up to go to the dentist. Police said the suspect pushed Regnier into the hallway of her building. He hit her and stole her purse. Claiborne appeared in court on Sunday. Claiborne has been charged with home invasion, aggravated battery of a victim over 60, robbery of a victim over 60 and two counts of robbery. (Black) Suspect Wanted In Murder Of (White) Delaware County Man Captured In Georgia  PHILADELPHIA — A North Carolina man wanted in connection with a murder in Delaware County has been arrested in Georgia. Thirty-seven-year-old Rodney Shelton was caught Friday afternoon in Decatur. He is charged with murder in the fatal shooting of 63-year-old Thomas Childs during a robbery in Yeadon in June 2015. Authorities say Childs was reporting for work as a delivery man when he was killed. “He was at his truck when he was approached by Mr. Shelton,” said Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan. “For a few dollars, he brutally and callously murdered Mr. Childs.” Whelan says U.S. Marshals tracked Shelton down south based on a tip. He was found at his girlfriend’s apartment. Police say he tried to escape but was quickly taken into custody by local authorities. “He initially tried to run out the back door but we had officers back there,” said Inspector Frank Lempka with the U.S. Marshals, “and then he decided to give up and come to the front door.” Shelton is now in Georgia jail cell, as officials try to bring him back to Pennsylvania to face murder charges. - (Black-on-white) |

Texas (black) Muslim Pleads Guilty to Setting Fire to His Own Mosque HOUSTON, Texas — The Muslim charged with arson of his own mosque on Christmas Day 2015 has pleaded guilty to felony arson in a Harris County (Houston) district court and was sentenced to prison. The charging instrument stated that Gary Nathaniel Moore started a fire with the intent to destroy and damage a place of worship – the Savoy Masjid Mosque in Houston. Moore said he attended the mosque every day up to five times a day for five years. The Houston Fire Department (HFD) responded to the fire about 2:47 p.m. on Christmas Day. Breitbart News reported that “up in smoke is the DC Media’s hoped-for anti-GOP Narrative. As Phillip Battles, 18, appeared in court, prosecutors detailed two armed robberies in which Battles allegedly took part. "God was watching out for me," said one of the victims who spoke exclusively about the attack in which she was targeted. First, the murder of 62-year-old Ignacio Ortega, killed Nov. 7. Then, 4-year-old Ava Castillo was shot in the head Nov. 14th as her family was robbed outside their home. A couple was then attacked Nov. 19th. In that case, investigators say, the woman was shot. Then the victim that was targeted on the Nov. 23. "Oh my God, I'm blessed to be alive, that I did not get killed and hurt," she said. |

Arrest Made in November Shooting Case in North Little Rock  NORTH LITTLE ROCK -- A man has been arrested, accused of shooting another man in the face in November. 20-year-old Reggie Hervey was arrested Friday. He is charged with a November 17th shooting in which a man was robbed and wounded in the face. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening. The victim's wallet and $250.00 were also taken. Hervey faces an aggravated robbery and battery charge. Police say Hervey was on parole on a previous conviction at the time of the crime. |
Police hunt for (black) subway flasher Police are looking for a man who exposed himself in front of a 25-year-old woman on a Manhattan subway last month, authorities said. The victim was riding the B train around 9:30 p.m. Nov. 25 when the suspect pulled out his genitals near the West 86th Street station. He then got off the train and disappeared, cops said. The man is described as being in his 30s or 40s, stands around 6-feet and weighs approximately 200 pounds. |

The Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters sued the City of Norman and Cleveland County two years ago, to compel them to release the first videotape to the public. Records: (Black) Killer was (white female) victim's boyfriend  A man arrested in the murder of a homeless woman had been the victim's boyfriend, according to court records. Carylon Y. Young, 59, was held Tuesday in the Marion County Jail on a preliminary charge of murder in the Nov. 18 death of Margaret A. Means, online records show. Young, according to a probable case affidavit, had been Means' boyfriend. In a Nov. 23 interview with detectives, Young admitted that he and Means were together on the night before officers found her body wrapped in a blanket at her campsite near Washington and Oriental streets. Young, who is also homeless, told detectives he left town that night and went to Ohio. The officer noticed cuts on Young's right little finger that could have been caused by a knife. Young told him he cut himself while working on construction jobs. Police on Nov. 28 interviewed a witness who was with Means and Young for several hours before the attack. The witness saw the couple argue, left briefly and returned to see Young stabbing Means. The witness told police Young held a bloody knife and his hands and clothing were covered in blood when he left the scene. NAACP, Jerime Mitchell's family hold news conference about dash cam video CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Iowa-Nebraska NAACP, Cedar Rapids NAACP and the family of Jerime Mitchell will hold a news conference Thursday to address the release of dash cam footage of a shooting that left Mitchell paralyzed, and a grand jury's decision not to charge the officer. The news conference will be at 5:30 p.m at the African American Museum of Iowa. The Cedar Rapids Police Department is going to release footage from a police dash cam of the November 1 incident involving Mitchell and CRPD Officer Lucas Jones this afternoon. Mitchell's family asked the department to wait to release it until they have a chance to watch it. A grand jury decided Tuesday there will be no charges filed against Officer Jones or Mitchell. Mitchell is now paralyzed from the neck down as a result of the shooting. A police report says that Mitchell greeted Officer Jones with profanity and wasn't calm during the exchange. |

(Cackling Black) Woman throws cat off third-floor balcony  A New Jersey teen was arrested after she was caught on camera tossing a cat out of three-story building as her friend laughed in the background, according to a report Sunday. A short video clip uploaded to social media showed 19-year-old Tikeemah Lassiter clutching the tabby cat in a blanket before throwing it off a balcony in Newark. The cat flipped in the air at least three times before slamming onto the pavement. It picked its head up but was not immediately able to move its body. Both Lassiter and another woman are heard cackling as they watch the cat struggle to move, the Mail said, citing the video. “It’s dead?” one of them allegedly asks before breaking into a fit of laughter. Authorities say Zyair Worrell suffered a large laceration to his liver, bruising on his chest wall, a bruised ear, an abrasion over his eye and tested positive for THC (which is found in marijuana). Officers responded to the scene on the 600 block of E. Clementine Street in Kensington late Tuesday night. Police say the child appeared to be lethargic when they arrived. Authorities took Zyair to St. Christopher’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead early Wednesday morning. Police say 23-year-old Andrea Worrell is charged with Endangering the Welfare and Obstructing Justice. |

Medical student Maria Ladenburger was found dead in the university city of Freiburg, where she volunteered at a refugee hostel in her spare time. Her father is Dr Clemens Ladenburger, a lawyer who works alongside the legal director of the European Commission. The suspect, an Afghan national, was arrested and is set to appear in court next month. Maria's body was found in the River Dreisam on October 16. Police later discovered she had been raped before her body was dumped in the water. Detectives are understood to have linked the suspect to the attack after finding a strand of distinctive, partially-dyed blonde hair near the scene. CCTV footage reportedly showed the teenager, who police say had a 'very conspicuous hairstyle, an undercut hairstyle' on a local tram. Public prosecutor Dieter Inhofer said the suspect had recently been given a home by a family in Freiburg. |

Before that day she counseled middle school students. Lifted her own coffee cup to her lips. Went out alone for a morning jog. Now she sees a wheelchair at her bedside when she awakes, she said. Now she has to get her husband’s help doing the little things her own hands used to manage, like driving a car, showering and styling her hair. “My whole life has changed. I’m glad I lived,” she said. “But what kind of life is this when I have to figure out every day what to do?” Dombo’s statements came Friday afternoon just moments before the man who shot her twice was sentenced to 31 years in prison on nine criminal counts, including her attempted first-degree murder. A jury in October convicted James Michael Phillips, 27, of shooting Dombo during a robbery attempt at the AT&T store at 620 N. Rock Road just after it opened on Aug. 11, 2015. He was armed with a gun, handcuffs, a box of zip ties and other tools that prosecutors say he intended to use to rob the store of high-dollar smartphones that day. He fired twice at Dombo – who had gone to the store to have her phone fixed – when she refused to go to a back room with two employees as Phillips had ordered. After he fled the store, he also fired at a Derby police officer who was pursing him. Doctors had to amputate portions of Dombo’s arms and legs to save her life. A Philadelphia couple are being sought in a double homicide last month in Northern California, authorities said. Robert Lee Randolph, 30, and Maria Teresa Lebron, 28, of Northeast Philadelphia, are wanted by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office in an Oct. 15 triple shooting — in which two men were killed — in a home on Route 116 in rural Sebastopol, about 6o miles north of San Francisco. A third victim, a woman, is in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release. The shootings are believed to be drug-related. One of the homicide victims, John "Jessie" Mariana, is from Upper Darby. According to an online obituary, Mariana, 28, graduated from Upper Darby High School and then worked as a carpenter. Efforts to reach his father Tuesday were not immediately successful. Randolph and Lebron are believed to be on the lam in Philadelphia or New Jersey, authorities said.

PALO ALTO — Customers once again filled the Apple store in Palo Alto, but a large 40-foot section of the iconic front glass wall was boarded up after a smash & grab robbery Sunday. A damaged SUV was sitting in the police department’s impound area after being used as a battering ram in the crime. “Witnesses reported seeing up to 20 people running from the scene,” Palo Alto Police Lieutenant Zach Perron said. An hour later police arrested two adult suspects who were still in the downtown area – 19-year-old Shaquin Ferbuson, and 18-year-old Erica White of Oakland, plus two juveniles, and booked them all into custody. They are still looking for the other suspects.
A Vietnam native convicted of murdering two brothers and dumping their bodies into the Schuylkill River has been sentenced to death. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports 44-year-old Tam Minh Le showed no reaction when the jury announced its decision Friday.
