Black who raped and murdered 84-year-old White woman avoids death penalty gets five life sentences
James TerryCharlotte Osborne RiceHALIFAX CO., Va. The man convicted of killing a Halifax County woman in 2011 has avoided the death penalty. On Monday, James Terry was sentenced to five life sentences in prison for the murder of Charlotte Rice. In March, Terry pleaded guilty to several charges in connection to the death of Rice. Terry's attorneys argued that he has an intellectual disability. In a statement, they said pursuing a capital murder sentence for Terry was a waste of public resources and a disservice to Halifax County. His attorneys say they proposed a life sentence for Terry in June 2013. Special prosecutor Bryan Haskins and Rice's family said Monday they are disappointed in the judge's decision. "He deserved the death penalty. When you spend as much time in jail and in prison as he has you become a real good con-artist on how to pull this off," said Judy Thompson, Charlotte Rice's niece. - (Black-on-white)

  • Bleeding-heart Democrat denies that his wife was murdered by an illegal alien and refused to be a 'poster husband' for anti-migrant campaign
Adrienne ShellyHispanic criminalOn Nov. 1, 2006, I found my wife, Adrienne Shelly, dead in her West Village office. Adrienne, an actor and filmmaker, had been brutally murdered by a 19-year-old undocumented (illegal) Ecuadorean construction worker; he later said they were having an argument and, fearing she would report him and have him deported, he killed her and staged her death so it would appear to be a suicide. Our daughter was just 2 years old at the time. Given the anger and grief I still feel, I could easily be seduced by Donald J. Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric that is the cornerstone of his presidential run. ... Adrienne’s killer, Diego Pillco, plea-bargained a murder conviction that sentenced him to 25 years with no parole and no ability to appeal.

And yet another black man who murdered his white girlfriend - Goochland man convicted of murdering Hanover woman
Lamare Shiron JenningsLee Mahanes SalmonA Goochland County man was found guilty of first-degree murder Wednesday in the June 2015 death of his girlfriend inside her Rockville home. The jury recommended that Lamare Shiron Jennings, 39, be sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder, plus a $100,000 fine, in the slaying of his girlfriend, 44-year-old Leaudrey Salmon. Jurors also recommended life in prison for abduction with the intent to defile and 10 years in prison for robbery, in connection with the murder. In a 911 phone recording played for the jury during a three-day trial, Jennings told Salmon that he didn’t believe she loved him and that he was going to kill her. While she screamed loudly, moaned and begged for her life, saying she needed to live for the sake of her children, Jennings gave her demands and continued torturing her. In the drawn-out brutality, according to evidence in the case, Jennings choked her repeatedly using his hands and a rope, which was left bloodied and covered with Salmon’s hair. Hanover County prosecutor Mackenzie Babichenko said that after Salmon had been strangled and left limp, Jennings used a knife to slit her throat three times from one end of her neck to the other. - (Black-on-white)

SHELBY, N.C. -- A manhunt is underway as police look for the gunmen who shot three people, killing two, including a 3-year-old little boy. What was first thought as a drive-by was later corrected by investigators; they say the shooting was not a random act of violence, but intentional, and occurred inside the home. Family members identified the victims as Miranda Woods and 3-year-old Liam Beason. Liam's stepfather, Tyler Beason, said, "He was probably one of the smartest little babies I've seen in all my life-- full sentences-- he could count-- he knew hold he was was, when his birthday was." "Who could do this to a child? Who is heartless enough to do this?" a family member asked. Liam's family, who regard Miranda as another family member, say they have no idea who would kill her and the child. Police say officers arrived around 7:30 Thursday morning to find little Liam dead, as well as Miranda Woods. A third person, Gerod Shippy, was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive.

Black beast attacked and tried to rape an 89-year-old White woman
Leon AlexanderLeon Alexander victimCOLUMBUS, Ohio You don't live 89 years without overcoming a trial or two. "When you're born and raised through The Depression and you get through that, you can survive anything,” she said. And this 89-year-old, who we are not identifying, is no exception. "I'm a tough old bird," she said with a laugh. But after what happened in her Denune Avenue home May 23, even the daily setting of the sun can trigger terror. "I make it pretty good through the day. It's just the nighttime. I just dread to see nighttime come," she said. “I have these flashbacks and nightmares. It's like I see somebody peeping in the window, or somebody's a knockin' on the door." It was around 4 a.m. when she was startled awake by a stranger in her bedroom. "He just comes in and said, ‘I'm here to rob you.’ I said, ‘You come to the wrong house,’" she said. She told him she didn't have any money. "He said, ‘Well I'll rape you then.’ That was the words that come out of his mouth. Tore all of my clothes off me and threw me on the floor," she said. Bruises and bandages on her hands and arms show the violence of the attack and the ferocity with which she fought back. "I fought him with my fist. I kicked him. I slapped him in the face. That's when he picked me up and throwed me. He slapped me full force right in the face,” she said. “And I said, ‘Where is your mother?’ And I told him God was watching everything he was doing, and I said, ‘He'll get you, buddy!’" - (Black-on-white)

(Cold-blooded black) Gunman in Lehigh Valley killing spree dodges death penalty - "the devil made him gun down random victims"
Todd WestTrevor Gray, Kory Ketrow and Francine RamosA man who told police the devil made him gun down random victims in the Lehigh Valley reached a plea deal to avoid the death penalty for murdering three people. Todd West, 24, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, is charged with seven killings in all -- three in the Lehigh Valley and four before that in New Jersey. Authorities agreed to try West in the Pennsylvania cases first, and he faced the death penalty here. West pleaded guilty Thursday morning in Lehigh County Court to three counts of first-degree murder in a deal that gave him three consecutive life sentences without the chance of parole. Prosecutors said West was one of three people involved in the fatal spree July 5, 2015, but that he was the only shooter. Kory Ketrow was killed in Easton, and Francine E. Ramos and Trevor D. Gray were killed in Allentown. West also fired at a couple stopped at a traffic light in Easton during the spree, but they were able to get away uninjured. West previously told investigators Ketrow looked tired as he was walking along Lehigh Street in Easton, and that he was going to "help" Ketrow. Asked in court why he killed the pair in Allentown, West said, "I just wanted to kill them." West said he had nothing to say to the crowd of the victim's family and friends in the courtroom. Judge James Anthony said in is entire legal career he had never seen a murder case like West's. "There doesn't appear to be any motive here besides a desire to kill. Cold-blooded murder in the truest sense," the judge said. - (Black-on-white)
