Students beat and bullied me for being white
Giovanni Micheli A white student at a predominantly Hispanic and black Long Island high school says he was targeted for punishment over his race — punched, hit with a chair and repeatedly called “cracker” and “white boy” — while administrators did nothing to protect him. Lawyers for Giovanni Micheli, now 23, aim to convince a federal jury that their client was singled out as a “minority” in Brentwood High School and then told by school officials, most of them white, to either “project more self-confidence” in order to stem the beating and berating — or leave. Micheli sued the Brentwood School District in 2010, and the trial opened Monday in Brooklyn federal court. “Giovanni was a minority because he was Caucasian,” attorney Wayne Schaefer said in his opening statement. “This case is about discrimination against a minority student . . . Our claim is that there was deliberate indifference because he was a Caucasian student complaining in a district where Caucasians are a minority.” After his parents complained, administrators eventually removed Micheli from the campus in favor of home tutoring, according to Schaefer. Finally, staffers ordered that he leave campus as a safety precaution. He and his parents want reimbursement for his parochial school tuition. . - (Drudge) - (Black-on-white)

  • Judge defends stuttering transit worker who repeatedly used the N-word
New York City Transit wants to fire a worker for repeatedly using the N-word during a dispute with a colleague, but a judge recommended leniency after learning the offender is a stutterer who was taunted constantly. Administrative Law Judge Ingrid Addison recommended instead that rail-car worker Zafar Shahbaz be suspended 20 days for the October 2014 altercation at the agency’s Jamaica maintenance shop. “I find the [transit] authority’s request for termination to be disproportionate to the offense,” she wrote in a nonbinding decision. Addison said that while she “does not . . . endorse” Shahbaz’s behavior, she believes that colleague Chad Allum “discriminated against [Shahbaz] when he consistently called respondent ‘stupid’ and ‘idiot,’ and that this was based on respondent’s perceived disability and his heavily accented language, and thus, his national origin.” Shahbaz is a Pakistani-American who has worked at NYC Transit for 23 years. Shahbaz allegedly responded, “If I’m a selfish bastard, you’re a n—-r.”

Police: (Black) Woman drained (White) family's bank account of $30,000
black ID thiefWes and Kara StuartATLANTA — Police are searching for a woman they say walked into a local bank posing as someone else and wiped out more than $32,000 of the family's savings. The woman went to the bank armed with a stolen Social Security number, fake ID and credit card. "It's frightening. It makes us angry. And it's scary," said theft victim Kara Stewart. Stewart and her husband, Wes, said that first they thought it was a mistake, when three of their accounts suddenly had zero balances. "Her savings and our two children's savings had been drained completely," said Wes Stuart. The theft happened in February. But police just released photos taken from surveillance video at the bank. They say the woman in the pictures used Kara's name and knew her Social Security number, showed the teller a fake Florida ID and even had an American Express card in Kara's name. "The alarming thing is she knew a lot of personal information," Kara said. Police say the woman withdrew more than $32,000 in cash from three of the family's savings accounts at the bank. "We don't know if she's been casing or stalking us as a family. We've gone through all of the emotions," Kara said. - (Black-on-white)

The shooting took place Wednesday night just after 9 p.m. at North 90th Street and Larimore Avenue, when Father Thomas Weisbecker went on a walk around the St. John’s Church neighborhood. It happened on Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn just after 9 p.m. The victim was identified as Jay Ferguson, 25. Several people were inside the store when the shooting happened. Police say the suspect, who is bald and was wearing dark pants, left in a red four door car.

(White) Wife of (wife-beating black criminal) fatally shot by IMPD officer speaks out after witnessing shooting
Kevin and Heather HicksINDIANAPOLIS, Ind -- Heather Hicks is coping with the loss of her husband, Kevin Hicks, 44, just one day after she witnessed an IMPD officer exchange punches with him before shooting and killing him. "I do believe it could have been handled differently on the officer's end," said Hicks. The incident began Tuesday night when Kevin was allegedly assaulting his wife Heather while she was driving. The couple's young child was also a passenger inside the car during the disturbance. "He knows his father has been killed. He saw it," said Hicks. Hicks says she was married to Kevin for over 20 years and they had one child together. Heather called 911 and told dispatchers her husband was assaulting her. She then saw an IMPD squad car at the Marathon gas station on 10th Street and Rural Street, so she pulled into the parking lot. Hicks spoke with FOX59 and made it clear that she wants the focus of this investigation to be on the events that unfolded Tuesday night rather than her husband's cloudy criminal past. According to court records, Hicks had been on work release following a prior domestic battery and a warrant was issued for his arrest when he failed to check in Tuesday night. Witnesses tell police the officer tried not to use deadly force, but Kevin knocked a Taser away. Witnesses also say he tried to get a hold of the officer’s gun in the fight. That’s when the officer fired and killed Kevin, according to IMPD. The six-year IMPD officer was treated for a possible fractured hand, bite marks and  he is being monitored for a concussion.. - (Black-on-white)

Homicide charges made in December death - black man beat his white wife to death
Christopher CarpenterJoy CarpenterBATTLE CREEK, MICH. - Four months after his arrest, a Battle Creek man now is charged with murder. A warrant charging open murder and assault with intent to murder was issued by the Calhoun County prosecutor against Christopher Carpenter. The 31-year-old man is expected to appear in Calhoun County District Court for arraignment. He faces life in prison without parole if convicted on either charges of first degree murder or felony murder which are included in open murder. Carpenter is charged in the Dec. 7 death of his wife, Joyce Carpenter, 34. Battle Creek police said she was beaten on Dec. 5 and suffered serious head injuries. "She died because she was so severely beaten," Prosecutor David Gilbert said. "One of the police officers in his police report said he has never seen anyone beaten so badly." Police said at the time that the woman suffered head injuries from multiple blows from fists. They did not believe a weapon was used. Officers were called to a residence on 23rd Street about 1 a.m. to investigate a disturbance but did not find problems and left. Investigators believe Christopher Carpenter began to beat his wife then. Several hours later she convinced him she needed medical treatment and he drove her in her car to Bronson Battle Creek and left her there, telling her to say she was assaulted by several women. But Carpenter told hospital workers what happened and police were called. Christopher Carpenter was stopped a short time later and arrested. Family members and friends said her injuries were so severe they did not recognize her. - (Black-on-white)

Fake (black) Uber Driver "Arrested After Brutal Sexual Assault of Passenger in Westlake: LAPD
black rape suspectA man who pretended to be an Uber driver and brutally sexually assaulted a female passenger, prompting police to shoot at him, has been arrested less than a week after the violent attack in the Westlake area, Los Angeles police Chief Charlie Beck said Monday. Dartanyum Larmar Smith, 39, was arrested at a South Los Angeles home on suspicion of kidnapping early Saturday morning. The incident began about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, April 3, when LAPD received a call about a woman screaming from inside an SUV in the area of 1300 block of Ingraham Street. “As they drive by … they hear the screams. They can see the assault going on in the back seat of this SUV," Beck said. The officers tried to get into the vehicle, but it was locked. When they began smashing the windows, the attacker jumped into the driver’s seat and began accelerating away. Smith allegedly accelerated toward officers, one of whom was struck by the SUV's door. One officer fired a single shot that didn’t strike the driver, Beck said. As the SUV sped away, with the female victim still inside, the officers called for backup and jumped into their patrol vehicle to follow. About four blocks away, after a frantic search, they found the victim, dumped onto the street, Beck said. She was discovered at James M. Wood Boulevard and Columbia Avenue and was taken by ambulance to a hospital. The driver escaped. Police initially said the suspect's name was Dartanyun Lamar Smith, but later clarified that his name is Dartanyum Larmar Smith. Inmate records show arrests for both names. Smith is a documented gang member.

(Black fag) Victim in boiled water attack fights to access GoFundMe funds
An Atlanta man who suffered serious burns when someone poured boiling water on him and his partner told us he has a new problem. Anthony Gooden showed Channel 2 Action News the $178,000 bill he got from Grady Hospital. Meanwhile his cousin, who started a GoFundMe page for his medical expenses, says she hasn't turned over all the money raised for him to protect him. "There's nothing to talk about. You've got my account number. You've got my routing number. Give me my money," Gooden said, referring to his cousin. Gooden wants the donors who contributed more than $70,000 to his GoFundMe medical recovery account to know he's fighting a new fight. "She's still holding onto my money. I have not received all my money, and I want something to take place because I need it," Gooden said. Gooden's cousin raised thousands after his story went viral last month. The 23-year-old and his partner suffered second and third-degree burns after Gooden's mother's boyfriend poured boiling water on them. The man told police he did it because the two men are gay. Martin BlackwellMarquez TolbertAnthony GoodenFederal hate crime charges could be brought against a Georgia man who admitted to pouring boiling hot water on a gay couple while they slept. Martin Blackwell, 48, already faces two counts of aggravated battery for the Feb. 12 incident, which left one victim hospitalized for a month with severe burns. Anthony Gooden and his boyfriend, Marquez Tolbert, 21, were asleep in the living room of the apartment Mr. Gooden shares with his mother when Mr. Blackwell, the mother’s boyfriend, arrived and carried out the attack. Amid the assault, Mr. Blackwell screamed at the two men to “get out of my house with all that gay.” Mr. Blackwell did not live at the apartment, but frequently visited his girlfriend there. Mr. Blackwell told investigators he was disgusted by the men’s relationship. “They was stuck together like two hot dogs, so I poured a little hot water on them and helped them out,” Mr. Blackwell reportedly told investigators. “They was stuck like two hot dogs. They’ll be all right, it was just a little hot water.”

Police hunt for killer (of black 'transgender' and 'friend') in double murder mystery in Midtown
Robert IsaacWillie SimsHOUSTON -- Houston police are looking for the killer or killers responsible for murdering two people in Midtown late Sunday night. The two people were found at 1100 Dennis Street near the Fannin Street intersection about 11:15pm. Leola Thompson says she was on the phone with her child moments before Robert Isaac, 34, was attacked. "I can still hear his voice," Thompson said. Isaac was a transgender woman, known to friends as Shante. "He said, 'I'll call you right back, I'll call you right back,'" Thompson said. But that call never came. Isaac was murdered and police are working to figure out why it happened. They are currently interviewing several witnesses. A man was killed too.     (Black) South Valley man accused of using home as a torture chamber
Marcel BlandALBUQUERQUE – An Albuquerque man is behind bars, accused of using his South Valley home as a torture chamber. Investigators say it seemed like a typical domestic violence call, but instead, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Deputies happened upon a house of horrors. BCSO was called to the home near Goff and Arenal Saturday night. It looked ordinary from outside, but inside, deputies couldn’t believe what they found. “Claw hammers being used to torture a subject, a tazer, bloody drag marks. It was a very organized crime scene,” said Capt. Andi Taylor of the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office. A woman told dispatchers she was being held against her will by her boyfriend, Marcel Bland. Deputies thought they were responding to a routine domestic violence conflict but officials say Bland was acting strange. Sure enough deputies found a bloodied victim passed out on a couch and tools of torture nearby, including a tazer, claw hammer and scissors, all lined up on a counter.

The police arrived to find the manager who confronted him with a bloody head. “He kept trying to squirm away, kept trying to squirm away saying he didn't know he punched a woman and he started crying,” Urich said. "You shouldn't attack a woman like that, especially over a burger,” Urich said. “There's no reason for that kind of violence. - (Black-on-white)

White family says feral negro CenterPoint worker beat dogs with pipe wrench
nigger dog beaterKINGWOOD, Texas - A local family says a CenterPoint Energy contract worker beat their dogs with a pipe wrench at their home. The incident was captured on the family’s home surveillance video and after it was posted online, has gone viral. The video, which homeowner Mike Willcox posted to Facebook on Sunday morning, had racked up more than 400,000 views as of 11 p.m. Sunday. “Right in here where he got hit with the wrench, almost got his eye,” said Willcox, describing some of the injuries on Flash, his 8-year-old Weimaraner bird dog. A swollen jaw, concussion, and at least $2,000 in vet bills, including a scheduled surgery on Friday, are just some of the impacts the dogs are still recovering from. The second dog, Shutter, is also an 8-year-old Weimaraner. “Never bitten anybody, very friendly,” said Willcox, of the dogs. “It was like the guy was swinging to kill.” Willcox says around 9:40 a.m. on March 23, 2016, a man claiming to be from CenterPoint Energy showed up unannounced in the backyard of his Kingwood home. Willcox says his home surveillance video shows that man hitting his dog Flash with a pipe wrench. “You can see the ripple right there,” said Willcox, pointing to the screen while watching the video Sunday afternoon. “It’s where his tooth went flying into the water.” He says it all happened while his wife and two young children watched from the living room just feet away. “My 4 year old son was very upset about it,” said Marina Willcox. “He started crying. He was scared.” Marina says the man told her he was in her backyard to work on the meter and turned down her offer to put the dogs inside. She says she went to check on Flash, realized he was bleeding, and rushed to tell her husband. “Now we got more of a problem,” said Mike Willcox. “Now I register we’ve got an issue.” Mike said he went outside just in time to see the man swing the wrench at Shutter. “I said ‘I need to know your name,’ and he’s like, ‘CenterPoint’. And I was like, ‘Okay, you need to get off our property before things get really ugly here.’” - (Black-on-white)

(Killer darkie) Jo-Jo White seeks new sentence in Drake Diner slayings of two White managers
Joseph "Jo-Jo" White JrCara McGraneTim BurnettJo-Jo White must be re-sentenced because the U.S. Supreme Court banned mandatory life-without-parole sentences for juveniles in 2012. He was 17 at the time of the Drake Diner slayings. Prosecutors and defense lawyers are preparing to revisit one of the most infamous crimes in Des Moines' history at a new sentencing hearing on track to happen for Joseph "Jo-Jo" White Jr. White, 40, is currently serving a life-without-parole prison sentence for the Nov. 29, 1992, shooting deaths of two young managers working that evening at the Drake Diner. The murders happened in front of at least 40 people inside the restaurant, setting off a tense search for the shooter before White was arrested six days later. White was 17 at the time of the killings. The majority decision written by Justice Elena Kagan found young people often lack maturity and said states should give many juvenile killers a "meaningful opportunity for release" at some point.

A review of records between 1993 and 1997 showed White had repeated problems in Iowa prisons —  ranging from threatening guards, fighting with other inmates, having unauthorized tobacco and gang-related conduct. White was one of six inmates involved in a 1996 attempt to hijack a prison transport van, a move that landed him in federal prison. He is currently serving his sentence at U.S. Penitentiary Big Sandy, a high-security prison in Kentucky, according to the federal Bureau of Prisons. The shooting inside the diner the Sunday after Thanksgiving killed Cara McGrane, 25, and Tim Burnett, 28. Both were shot in the head. The shooter walked into the restaurant wearing a hooded sweatshirt and grabbed less than $500 from the cash register before fleeing. White had come back to Des Moines recently before the shooting after growing up with family members in Seattle. His father, Joseph White Sr., was shot and killed by police in 1977. - (Black-on-white)

St. Louis jury convicts Poplar Bluff, Mo., man in killing of Drury Inn night manager
Joseph Bernard BowensQuinton WilliamsScott KnopfelA St. Louis jury on Friday found Joseph Bowens guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of a night manager at the Drury Inn & Suites hotel on Jan. 15, 2015. Scott Knopfel, 50, of St. Louis, was shot in the chest and face during a robbery just before 3 a.m. at the hotel, on Hampton Avenue at Interstate 44. Bowens, 45, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was captured a few days after the murder in the area where he lived, after surveillance images from the hotel were shared widely by the media. Video depicted the robber approaching the front desk and talking to Knopfel for about a minute before pointing a revolver at the employee and vaulting over the front desk. Two of three shots fired were captured by the cameras. A car similar to Bowens’ was also caught on camera and a security guard identified Bowens in court as the person she saw enter and leave the hotel at the time of the murder. Prosecutors said Knopfel’s DNA was found on a leather jacket found at Bowens’ home — a jacket that matched the one the robber was seen wearing. Also, they said, an autopsy revealed Bowens’ DNA on Knopfel’s left hand. Cell tower data also put Bowens near the scene that night, prosecutors said. Bowens’ first-degree murder conviction will mean an automatic sentence of life without parole. The St. Louis jury, which deliberated only a couple hours after a three-day trial, also found him guilty of first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action. Bowens had a conviction history including drug, robbery, assault, DWI and gun cases. Court and prison records showed he had repeatedly violated the terms of his probation or parole. Knopfel was a lifelong resident of south St. Louis. - (Black-on-white)

(Black) Man found fit to stand trial in murder of reputed (Jewish) slumlord
Kendal FelixMenachem StarkA man accused of kidnapping a Brooklyn landlord, strangling him, and setting him on fire has been found fit to stand trial. Kendel Felix, who has been in custody since the January 2014 murder of reputed slumlord Menachem Stark, appeared via video conference Thursday before Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Neil Firetog to set hearings for early June. After his April 2014 arrest, Felix detailed an elaborate plot for police in which he’d been approached by someone named “Erskine,” who said Stark owed him money, and told that if he helped Erskine “scare” the landlord, he’d give him a cut of the profit. His account also pointed fingers at two other men, who he only identified as “Kendall,” and “Irvine.” Felix was the only one charged in Stark’s killing. The accused killer blabbed to cops after they asked him whether his preacher father had taught him to tell the truth. Stark, whose half-charred corpse was found abandoned in a Long Island dumpster, had lots of enemies, a law enforcement source previously told the Post. “Any number of people wanted to kill this guy,” the source said.

Body of (White) woman found in woods identified - last seen with 'dark complected' man
Ethel Shannon McCarson"dark complected" suspectORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Investigators on Thursday sifted through a dumpster, looking for clues as to why a woman was found dismembered in a wooded area off Old Winter Garden and Cottage Hill roads on Wednesday. A man, who asked not to be named, was part of the group of crime scene technicians who first discovered the remains. "The body parts, it just messed me up," he said. Deputies would not comment on the condition of the body or cause of death, but they said the victim is 42-year-old Ethel Shannon McCarson. Driver Gene Hughes told investigators he saw McCarson with another man on Tuesday afternoon by some mailboxes near the crime scene. She was also seen buying alcohol at a nearby liquor store. "I saw a couple crouching down here, and they were arguing, because there was a lot of hand movement going on. There was some bags, and I thought, maybe it's just a couple of homeless people," said Hughes. He described the man as 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, dark complected, with short hair.
