  • What we know about the Bobbie Maples buried-body missing-person murder case - white woman's dead body found - black man charged
MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – Information about the death of Bobbie Roselyn Maples, whose body was found in January 2016 more than a year after she went missing, continues to come out drop by drop, more slowly than in many murder cases. One piece became public with the charging of Ronald Earl Williams, 35, a Michigan Department of Corrections prisoner, with open murder in Maples' death. After Williams was charged, the affidavit for the search warrant that led to discovery of Maples' buried body was unsealed. That Jan. 22 affidavit, a sworn statement written by Roosevelt Park Police Officer Robert Sypien, cites Williams' 41-year-old sister, Ronesha Aunu Williams, as the source of the tip that led to Maples' body being unearthed. In his statement to a Muskegon County 60th District Court magistrate, the officer said he had spoken with Ronesha Williams that day. She told the officer that she had visited her brother at a home on Michillinda Road around the time Maples was reported missing. "While at the Michillinda Road address, Ronesha Williams observed a large object rolled up in a comforter, estimated by Ronesha to be at least a queen size comforter," Sypien wrote.
Later, Ronesha Williams said, she spoke with her brother's girlfriend, Tara Lynn Glaser. Glaser allegedly told her that around the time of Maples' disappearance, "Ronald Williams buried an object at 5265 Nestrom Road in the area of a detached pole barn, and that Ronald Williams then poured concrete over the object that had been buried."
Bobbie Maples was involved in a "relationship" with Ronald Williams. - (Black-on-white)

NYPD rocked by massive corruption probe - (black suspects)
Philip BanksNorman SeabrookThe FBI is investigating suspected NYPD corruption focusing on the relationship between two politically connected businessmen and a slew of officers throughout the ranks, multiple sources told The Post on Monday. The feds are grilling about 20 cops — including three deputy chiefs and the head of the Upper East Side’s 19th Precinct — over gifts and foreign trips that the businessmen may have doled out to them in exchange for favors, law enforcement sources said. A grand jury also has been convened, sources said. The investigation began with an unrelated deal-gone-awry involving the two businessmen — Mayor Bill de Blasio buddies Jona Rechnitz and Jeremy Reichberg, well-placed sources said. Wiretaps on the two businessmen’s phones revealed relationships with several NYPD cops — and the probe soon led the feds to then-NYPD Chief of Department Philip Banks and his close pal, corrections union president Norman Seabrook, sources said.

Video Shows (White) Maryland Judge Ordering Deputy to Stun (Black) Defendant
Robert NalleyDelvon KingA newly released video shows how a former judge's temper landed him in hot water -- and out of a job – after he ordered a deputy to use a stun device on a defendant in his courtroom. Robert Nalley, 72, pleaded guilty earlier this year to a misdemeanor civil rights violation. The court sentenced him last week to one year's probation, fined him $5,000 and ordered him to take anger management classes. Maryland's highest court also banned Nalley from the bench for life. In the newly released video from July 2014, Nalley is seen telling a deputy to activate a "stun-cuff" that the defendant was wearing around his ankle. Delvon King, who was acting as his own lawyer on a gun charge, was before Nalley during the hearing when the judge told him to stop talking. When King failed to listen, Nalley ordered him to be shocked with 50,000 volts of electricity.

South Texas (Hispanic 'Vampire') set to die said he drank victim’s blood
Pablo Lucio VasquezHUNSTVILLE — Pablo Lucio Vasquez remembered getting drunk and high on an April evening in 1998 before leaving a party with his 15-year-old cousin and his cousin’s 12-year-old friend. Vasquez later would tell detectives that as they reached a wooden shed, he started hearing voices telling him to kill the younger boy, David Cardenas. So he hit the seventh-grader in the head from behind with a pipe, cut his throat and lifted the still-conscious victim so blood would drip on the 20-year-old Vasquez’s face. “Something just told me to drink,” Vasquez said in a videotaped statement to police in Donna, a small town in Texas’ Rio Grande Valley. “You drink what?” a detective asked. “His blood,” Vasquez replied. Authorities found the body — missing some limbs — five days later under scraps of aluminum in a vacant field. A blood trail showed it was dragged to the site. “They decided they were going to try to take his head off with a shovel and didn’t realize that it was a lot more difficult to cut someone’s head off." Three other relatives of Chapa and Vasquez received probation and a small fine for helping cover up the slaying. One of them was deported to Guatemala.

(Black) Hampton man charged in cold-case homicide has previous convictions
Ruben Edward Moore Olivia Dare ChristianRuben Edward Moore is a man whose criminal history dates back 40 years, and the details of his crimes sit in a Hampton courthouse. Filed away on a metal shelf are hundreds of pages of court transcripts, criminal complaints and arrest warrants that bear his name. Some documents are so old they are discolored or torn and are held together by rubber bands. His criminal convictions are similar and each involve women — women who were violated sexually in their homes. In 1971 the victim was asleep when Moore climbed into her bedroom through a window. He choked her. Prosecutors said he tried to rape her but was scared off by the screams of her 2-year-old daughter who was asleep beside her, according to the trial transcript. Another woman was sleeping in 1982 when Moore broke in, put his hand over her mouth and raped her. He promised he would kill her if she made a sound. Police recently charged Moore, 66, in another crime. A crime that authorities say he's gotten away with for more than 30 years: the cold-case homicide of Olivia Dare Christian. - (Black-on-white)

(Dead black rapper) Tupac’s (Black killer animal) Stepfather Up For Parole In Deadly Brinks Heist
Mutulu ShakurWaverly L. Brown (left) and Edward O’GradyPeter PaigeNEW YORK — He made the FBI’s most wanted list and was convicted of leading a revolutionary group responsible for a trail of bloodshed, including the slayings of an armed guard and two New York police officers. But after serving half his prison sentence, Mutulu Shakur might soon be a free man. The 65-year-old, stepfather to the late rapper Tupac Shakur, is eligible for mandatory parole after serving 30 years of the 60-year sentence he was given in 1988 for masterminding a string of deadly armed robberies in New York and Connecticut committed by a militant political group known as “The Family.” The possibility that Shakur could walk free has outraged Michael Paige, whose father, a Brinks security guard, was killed in a $1.6 million holdup of an armored truck at a mall in suburban Rockland County, New York, on Oct. 20, 1981. He called it “incomprehensible” and “sickening.” “That’s the going rate? Thirty years for at least three lives that were taken?” he said. “I was 16 years when he was killed by these animals. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about my father.” Less than an hour after Peter Paige was killed during the Brinks heist, two Nyack police officers, Waverly Brown and Sgt. Edward O’Grady, were killed in an ambush after stopping a truck at a roadside checkpoint. Shakur was added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list after the heist. He remained on the run until he was arrested in Los Angeles in 1986. Shakur was also charged with aiding fellow revolutionary Joanne Chesimard’s escape from a New Jersey prison, where she was serving a sentence for killing New Jersey state trooper Werner Foerster in 1973. - (Black-on-white)
