Convicted (black) murderer in 1999 double homicide (of elderly White woman and White man) will not face death penalty
Victor Cornell Miller77-year-old Mary Agnes BowlesJerald ThurmanProsecutors in Tulsa County have decided to no longer seek the death penalty for a man convicted of a double homicide in 1999. 52-year-old Victor Cornell Miller is convicted in the fatal shootings of retired Tulsa banker, 77-year-old Mary Agnes Bowles and Owasso trucking company owner, 44-year-old Jerald Thurman. The First Assistant District Attorney John David Luton announced the decision Tuesday in court, stating he came to this conclusion after talking with the victims' families. Miller has fought a legal battle against Oklahoma since the jury convicted him in 2002. In November 2008, a jury delivered a death penalty for Miller on each of two counts of first-degree murder. An earlier conviction was overturned by an appeals court in 2004 and Miller was granted a new trial. Nine years later, Miller was formally sentenced on December 8, 2008 to two death sentences for the Tulsa County double homicide. Co-defendant George John Hanson is currently serving a death sentence for one of the murders but that outcome is on appeal.
Bowles was kidnapped from the Tulsa Promenade mall parking lot on Aug. 31, 1999 then driven to a secluded area in northern Tulsa County, where she was killed. Thurman was picking up a load of dirt in that secluded area at the time and was also shot to death. - (Black-on-white)

Katerra LewisBIRMINGHAM, Ala. —An 8-year-old boy is being charged with beating a 1-year-old girl to death while they were left home alone as their mothers went to a nightclub, Alabama police said Tuesday. Birmingham police spokesman Sean Edwards said the boy beat and killed 1-year-old Kelci Lewis when she wouldn't stop crying. The mother of the toddler, 26-year-old Katerra Lewis, also is charged with manslaughter for her role in the death of her daughter. "This is by far one of the saddest cases that I have witnessed and been a part of since I became a police officer," Edwards said. "This type of irresponsibility on behalf of a parent is totally unacceptable," he said. Police said a murder warrant has been obtained for the boy who is now in the care of Alabama's child welfare agency, the Department of Human Resources. His case will go through the family court system. Edwards said the 8-year-old was the oldest of six children left alone as their mothers, Katerra Lewis and a friend, went to a nightclub on the night of Oct 11. The 8-year old is the son of Katerra Lewis' friend. The friend has not been charged.

(Hispanic) Allentown man blames alter ego of strangling 60-year-old (white) woman in crack den
Jesus Pablo "Playboy" DominguezShirley A. DiLeoIn a truly bizarre hearing in Lehigh County Central Court, multiple witnesses openly admitted smoking crack, attorneys argued over whether a car was stolen or used as a "crack rental," and a man accused of strangling a woman told police an alter ego did it. At the end of the hearing today, Jesus "Playboy" Dominguez now faces trial in the killing of 60-year-old Shirley DiLeo and for stealing two cars. Dominguez remains in prison without bail. Prosecutors said they need to review the case to determine if they will seek the death penalty if Dominguez is convicted of first-degree murder. Dominguez, in an orange prison jumpsuit and his hair in two tight braided pigtails, said nothing in court. He began slightly rocking in his chair at the beginning of the hearing, but that stopped once testimony began on the discovery of DiLeo's body. Dominguez said that weekend he smoked crack with DiLeo, the two had sex and he passed out, Milkovits testified. Dominguez also spoke of hearing voices, and that the voices told him to kill everyone.

Here Are All The Times White Man Shaun King Has Said ‘N****r’
Shaun King & coNow that even Black Lives Matter supporters are coming around to the fact that yes, Shaun King is a white man with money management issues, we thought it would be appropriate to list all the times King has used the word “n****r” on Twitter. See how I’m not allowed to say that word? It’s because I’m white. Like Shaun King. Here, look. I’ll try to say it again, without being pejorative. The word I’m not allowed to type is… “ni***r.” There you go, one more letter, tops, before I can never get another job in journalism again. You see, there’s a rule when it comes to this word: only black people get to use it. So, without further ado, I present to you The N****r Monologues, by Shaun “Sticky Fingers” King, trans-black slam poet.

Johnson County District Court Judge Thomas Kelly Ryan sentenced Frazier Glenn Cross, 74, to die by lethal injection. A jury in early September convicted Cross, a former senior member of the Ku Klux Klan, of the murders and recommended that he be put to death. Cross also was convicted of three counts of attempted murder for shooting at three other people. The jury found Cross guilty of killing Reat Underwood, 14, and his grandfather, William Corporon, 69, outside the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City, and Terri LaManno, 53, outside a Jewish retirement home, both in Overland Park, Kansas. After the judge announced his decision, Cross gave the "Heil Hitler" salute and was forcibly removed from the courtroom. None of those he killed were Jewish.

(Black) Man awaiting trial since 2011 on charge of murder of elderly White woman sends bizarre letters to judge
Marcus SmithKathryn "Kit" GrazioliSheriff's deputy Harry LeMonteA man in jail on charges of murder and attempted murder sent more than a dozen bizarre letters to an El Paso County judge between the summer of 2012 and April of last year. The letters were recently released to The Gazette by the 4th Judicial District Court through an open records request. Marcus Smith, 25, is known for his frequent outbursts in court, which often get him booted from hearings. Smith has been awaiting trial since 2011 for the murder of 87-year-old Kathryn "Kit" Grazioli, and more recently was also accused of attempted murder of an El Paso County jail guard, sheriff's deputy Harry LeMonte. Since July 16, 2012, Smith has sent 13 letters to Judge Barbara Hughes. The letters are repetitive and accuse the court of calling him "black" when he is actually "brown." In the July 16 letter, he writes that he is innocent and wants his record cleared and a $500 million payment from the court. Frequently refers to himself as Kntu KintA. - (Black-on-white)

(Black) Texas man convicted in murder of (White man) five months after arrest
Jacorroyn WilsonCharles WorthingtonMANSFIELD, La. - Five months from arrest to conviction – justice was swift for a Texas man who bludgeoned a Logansport man to death earlier this year in an attempt to evade authorities. For that, Jacorroyn Wilson, (aka Jacorryn Lavell Wilson), 24, will spend the rest of his life in prison. A DeSoto Parish jury last week convicted Wilson of second-degree murder in the May 2 death of Charles 'Chuck' Worthington, 58. Wilson will be sentenced Dec. 9 to the mandatory life sentence. Wilson was arrested hiding in an attic in Tyler, Texas, days after he was named a suspect in Worthington’s death. DeSoto sheriff’s investigators connected Wilson to the murder after Deputy Lester Daniel had a run-in with him. . Wilson resisted arrest and ran through a wooded area that took him to Worthington’s house on Bogle Road. He tried to steal one of Worthington’s vehicles, but because it had a steering problem Wilson drove it into a fence instead. When Worthington came out of his house to check on the noise, Wilson beat him with a short garden shovel. Worthington suffered a cracked skull and shattered windpipe. Wilson then stole another of Worthington’s vehicles, a pickup truck, and drove it to Tyler, where he abandoned it. - (Black-on-white)
